I switched to another artist, and retention has been much better. Additionally, the salon doesn't keep track of lash styles per client, so if your usual artist isn't available, the replacement may use different curls or styles that aren't preferred. I was asked to hold my eyelid with my finger and when it wasn't enough, pressure was applied directly without warning. I understand this can be part of threading, but it should be communicated and done gently since the eye area is sensitive. I even mentioned discomfort at the time. I'd just advise being more gentle and checking client preferences, as there wasn't much discussion about my preferred brow shape.
