I was asked to hold my eyelid with my finger and when it wasn't enough, pressure was applied directly without warning. I understand this can be part of threading, but it should be communicated and done gently since the eye area is sensitive. I even mentioned discomfort at the time. I'd just advise being more gentle and checking client preferences, as there wasn't much discussion about my preferred brow shape. read more

Saadi always does a great job! I have had my brows and lip waxed in the past. The waxers did a nice job but never really did a great job shaping my brows and then I still had some clean up on lip and brows when I got home. Also, as I am getting older, my eyelids are more sensitve to the wax. I am gonna be honest, it is a little bit more uncomfortable (to me) then waxing but the result is so much better. read more

By appointment only! (they are that good!) I could not get an appointment before and tried threading at Brow Boutique at Coastland Mall (Seriously, Do NOT go there.) After the girl at the mall ruined my eyebrows I was pretty maudlin. I let them grow, and tried Blush Aesthetics AND it was amazing. First, she brushed my eyebrows, and she was delicate and caring with my skin. She did not pull or press hard on my skin. Then she outlined them a little and made them look very natural. She made them look even...even though they do not grow the same way! It was a month ago and they skill look great. I've been trying to upkeep them by tweezing the extras because I am afraid of losing the fabulous shape shegave them and because I know that no one will measure up! I tried Blush for the first time today and WOW. I am so pleased by the entire experience. Before she even started threading we had a mini-consultation on the state of my brows. I was an unfortunate waxer for most of my 20s and its left my brows sparse. I have been trying to grow them out but the damage has been done. Saadia took her time, listened to my concerns and talked to me candidly about what she could do and what my options were. I was impressed and felt quite confident that I had come to the right spot! I had a full face threading and Saadri was awful. She cut my face around my jaw line and outer cheek bone. That night I had a rash along my jaws and lower cheek and neck. It's red and bumpy. I will never go there again. What type of pretest do you use for actual cuts in the skin? I should do more positive reviews when I am pleased with services. When I went to Saadi for the first time, she took good care of my skin before AND after the removal. Not only this, but she ALWAYS brings her best when shaping my brows. I've been to several eyebrow threaders, waxers, beauticians-all sorts of people trying to help me with my sad, spotty eyebrows(spotty after years of incessant teenage plucking). No other beauty professional has ever delivered such care and service than of that with Ms. Saadia. It was like a cathartic counselling session. A session where I could air out the skeletons in my brow closet(too-dark dipbrow, appointments with Coastland malls notorious threaders, a constant yearning to tweeze like crazy), while being assured that I was not alone but also on my way to a better brow with her guidance. I am so glad this place is here. Saadia is great at what she does. Every time I go, I get my eyebrows threaded and my eyelashes tinted. Before coming to Blush to get my lashes tinted, I went to other places but somehow they always managed to burn my eyes and I would have red eyes for a day or two. I had really high hopes, since the reviews were so good, but ended up having a terrible experience. I made my appointment under the assumption that "Saadi" would be doing my eyebrows, but someone else did. We spoke about how I was trying to grow my brows to be thicker and just wanted them "cleaned up", and she proceeded to remove almost half of my brows, leaving them ridiculously thin. I have been to Saadi 3 times now, mainly for threading, which I think is far superior to waxing. It is much gentler on my skin, and any redness goes away much faster than with wax. Saadi does an amazing job at shaping eyebrows, and is very professional and friendly. I was happy to find out that she also provides eyelash-tinting, which she also does very well. Saadi does an excellent job at threading. The only problem is that it is $22 for eyebrows which is a lot. Then again, she is the only person in Naples who does it. The reason why I see her is because I only come to Naples once or twice a year. She cleans your brows with witch hazel and then finishes with lotion and a bit of gold shimmer powder under the brows.
