And cosmetic veneers that I was not properly fit for and broke almost the same day I left there telling them my teeth felt loose still. I had to have my root canal reposted and was lucky I had enough left to even do that. Now I'm on a 10k plus journey to fix the original problem and the damage done by this office. Other than the problematic work I received from this place the staff is very friendly and they at least communicate. Do they give you right or best information no... but they get back to you. I've given this dentist office thousands of dollars my veneers alone were a wasted couple thousand that lasted me less than a month. With the amount I've spent here and having to go thru and have everything completely redone by someone else I wouldn't recommend going here at all.

This will be a long review as to explain the amount that Brandon has done for me would be hard to explain in a small paragraph. I have dealt with dental issues all growing up. My family all has had issues and a lot of it is genetic issues. I use to get anxiety going to the dentist. When I started seeing Brandon 8 years ago he was great at explaining things and making me feel comfortable. I started doing routine dental care because I now wasn't having the anxiety about going in because I could see how much he was helping me. My jaw has never sat correctly with my jaw alignment causing all the pressure to be on my front teeth. Which in turn caused extreme damage and loss of length on my front teeth. Brandon was so patient and thorough through the whole process of helping me decide what to do with my bite. In my pictures I will add to this review, you will see how much my teeth had been damaged over the years with the constant pressure being applied to my front teeth and what Brandon was able to do to create a beautiful smile and set me up in the future with a more stable bite. Brandon was able to do 12 crowns on the top to help build up the back of my teeth and make a more unified smile. Since having them done I have had minimal pain and almost forget that I had them done when I'm even eating. Brandon was very Thorough and he is a perfectionist with his work. I have heard on multiple occasions since having my teeth finished how amazing and natural they look. Most of the time they don't even know what's different which goes to show how natural they look. I love that he made them look so natural. I have had other people reaching out to see where I had my teeth done because they look so natural. I have also met other patient in passing at his office or finding out where I have gone for dental work, give raving reviews of him as well. I can see his staff and how happy they all are in his office and that also speaks loudly to the person he is and the atmosphere he has created. I highly recommend Brandon for any of your dental needs as I have gone through most of them with him and he has always does an exceptional job. I am so thankful when I moved here 8 years ago that Brandon was the dentist I chose. The first photo is of me at age 18 showing you after I got my braces off. They ensured that they could. I followed up via phone the same day to again ensure that we were on the same page and that they could provide the correct service for my daughter who is experiencing tooth pain. They again stated that they could and scheduled the appointment. They call me the day of the appointment, a week later, to inform me that they made a mistake and cannot provide what my daughter needs. They said that all they can do is take x-rays and provide referrals. I already have the x-rays and THEY were the referral. Also, how is that service providing my daughter will any type of pain relief that we discussed via email and via phone prior. Their exact words were that "no one is perfect" and that there "is nothing they can do about it"! Mind you this is after I have already requested time off work and have been telling my daughter for a week to just hold in there because the dentist would be seeing her soon. ABSOLUTE IDIOTS!!!! AVOID THEIR STUPIDITY AT ALL COSTS.

I had a favorite practice I went to in Illinois and I would travel there for my care until the practice was finally closed due the practice relocating out of state. I tried a different practice in Gilbert over a year ago and had an awful experience. I was talking with someone about my dilemma and she highly recommended Serenity Dental - so I ripped off the band-aid and gave them a call. Whenever I would call any other practice I was always told my asks were not feasible. My ask was: Warm or room temp water rather than cold, 4 shots of novacaine, the use of the Synapse Dental Eraser (and nobody has this tool - but it is truly miraculous at blocking out pain). In the absence of the dental eraser my ask was to add Nitrous (laughing gas) in addition to the warm water & novacaine. I was told they don't typically warm water ahead of time but they would do so for me and I was also told that the novacaine & nitrous was totally doable. I went in for my initial visit and got my teeth cleaned, x-rays, etc. Everyone in the practice was so very kind to me. They really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and at ease. The dentist even said he would provide me a prescription to obtain the dental eraser so that it can be used when needed at an appointment. I need to go back to take care of 2 cavities & have a crown. This is the first time in a long time that the idea of going back isn't giving me awful anxiety. Jess was the one that did the teeth cleaning for me and she is just a sweetheart. I also got to see Dr. Bhatt to discuss the needed care. He was super kind and really assured me that I came to the right place. So if anyone suffers from severe anxiety like me over dental visits - I would strongly encourage you to give this practice a try. This practice is truly the best - and I already love them more than the other practice I went to back in Illinois for over 25 years. I went with a different place at first because it was closer to where we were living. Well, that turned out to be a mistake. I ended up having a bad experience there and finally switched to S&L. Dr. Ngo and his team fixed everything the other dentist had messed up. Right away I knew my wife had been right all along. I've been going to S&L for four years now and they really are the best dental office I've ever been to. Dr. Ngo has removed all my old metal fillings and replaced them with modern ones, plus he's done a couple of crowns for me. Everything looks and feels great. My wife has also been extremely happy with all the work he's done for her too. I'm almost 55 and I've seen a bunch of top-rated, highly recommended dentists over the years, both here in the US and a couple in Mexico. Nothing else comes close. One thing I have to mention is how good Dr. Ngo is with people who hate dental visits or get nervous about pain. His work is excellent, but it's the way he takes care of you that makes the biggest difference. For example, the way he does Novocaine shots is unbelievable. You barely feel it at all. Every dentist out there should learn his technique. With all that said, I do think the front office experience could be better. If the customer service up front matched Dr. David's clearly caring vibe, it would be 100% perfect. They seem very knowledgable and seem to know what they're doing when it comes to dentistry, but my concerns are more in the administration side of things. I changed jobs earlier this year and got new insurance with a common major insurance provider, and I needed to get a procedure done. I asked them what the procedure would cost and they gave me a quote, which was already expensive, and I paid that at the time of service. However, when I came in for a routine cleaning 6 months later, they said the insurance "didn't pay as much as they thought" and stuck me with MORE THAN DOUBLE their original quote. I looked into the insurance claim and called the insurance company myself, and the insurance company paid exactly what was according to their billing schedule. There were no surprises. I think the office knew (or should have known, because they're the professionals and this is what they do) that this would happen, and they dishonestly gave me a lower quote, did the service, and then stuck me with the even more expensive bill (but to their credit, they did give me a lower price than what they billed to insurance, but it was still VERY expensive that I was not prepared for). Additionally, I distinctly recall the procedure treated four teeth, but then on the bill and insurance claim, they say they treated six. Unfortunately, I don't really know how to argue this, especially because it happened so long ago. I suspect they didn't contact me about this issue earlier for this exact reason. Again, dishonest. Another concern with this dentist is that it's unprofessional that they use Zelle to get around credit/debit card transaction fees. Every merchant has to deal with card transaction fees, they shouldn't be up-charging that cost and they shouldn't be using Zelle, which is supposed to just be a peer-to-peer payment network. Lastly, as much as I love dogs, I don't think it's hygienic that they keep a dog in their office. In all, I started off loving this dentist, and very disappointed that they turned out to be this unprofessional and dishonest. I'm sad I'll have to go elsewhere from now on.
