I've been going to this location ( And AutoZone as a company for over 24 years ) for a very long time. But because of Jose made me change my tune and start going to "O"ther company. Jose is very obnoxious. I asked a few things for my 2015 Honda Civic EXL. I jokingly said please make sure he gives me the right parts because it would be a long drive back my Mechanics place who live in Concord. He accidentally gave me the wrong parts before and I had to drive back to Vallejo because when I had to exchange it in Concord they didn't have the parts. He guaranteed me all the parts were correct. Guess what it happened AGAIN. Same secanario.... c'mon bro.. he gave me all the parts for a 2015 ACCORD instead of a CIvic. And when I went back over there and I was being really polite about it. He said a smart remark saying " it's not my fault you told me the wrong car " and chuckled and looked at his employees like it wasn't his fault Now I had it. I told him : Jose I told you 3xs what parts I needed for my car and you assured me they were correct this is the 2nd time you made a huge mistake and your trying to pass off the blame on me because you don't want to be embarrassed in front of your employees. I went to auto zone at 730 Adml Callaghan Ln. on 09-09-24 and Arin at this location said that all black people are fraudulent and we had are receipt. They sold me the wrong breaks they had the right boxes but the wrong part in the box. This is the second time that this store sold me the part. We opened up the box and then we realized that the breaks was wrong and that is when Arin said that we were fraudulent but he was willing to give me my money back but not exchange them. Autozone at 2045 Springs rd would have to be the worst one I've ever been to. The employees are rude, unwelcoming and unprofessional. The manager is slow, doesn't greet people, and has no sense of urgency to help people. Often times there can be a line and one person will be at the parts counter trying to manage 6 or more customers. They need to fire the whole staff and hire people who actually want to work no matter their pay grade. I will say the store is clean though. I have family members whom of which own shops in Vallejo who refuse to do business with this place because of the unprofessionalism of the employees. The guy with the dreads acts like he knows it all and when you bring up a point and prove him wrong, he just looks at you and doesn't apologize for his mistake. This is the place you go to when you don't feel like crossing the street to go to Orielly!! I've managed a parts counter before and I've never seen people so unprofessional managing to hold onto their jobs. We came here today for a new battery. Francis and Jose were very helpful with trying to help us find the right battery for our Honda Pilot. Also they offered to help install the battery. Although my husband didn't need any help they let us use their tools. We also bought windshield wipers which they installed free of charge. Then Jose noticed that my husband didn't secure the battery enough because he left a few screws out. Thought we didn't need it lol. Jose kindly screwed it on and told us that it's important to have the battery strapped down so it doesn't move around while driving. Overall, they were really helpful and kind, I know if we went to a shop they would of charged us an arm and a leg for the labor and parts. Glad my husband is pretty handy as well! Customer service with Mary and some other women on 1-9-18 around 11am was terrible! Both had attitudes and told me wrong information. I called to return a car battery that was unused and bought the previous night was told I wasn't able to do so since those sales are final. I don't even work there and knew that was wrong. I was told I was only able to do a warranty swap which wasn't what I needed. Anyways I called the AC location and they told me to just bring it to them and my return went smoothly. Maybe a policy refresher and a customer service course would be beneficial. read more

Omg! Worst autozone store ever! We went there to have our car battery charged..The manager named Robert was so rude. He said that it is a bad battery and he doesn't know why... No recommendations or what so ever. I work at a retail store, and I know with job comes with great customer service. But this guy doesn't even have that quality. He didn't even bother offering an alternative or what not. And when he talks to you, he talks with sarcasm. It seems like his not happy with his job. And your a store manager too? Well, I had some mixed review here because I was helped by two different people in the store. I needed a battery change for my car and the plugs were the battery was attached were badly corroded. At first I was helped by a female employee, then later she called Jennifer to take off the plugs because she can't do it. Jennifer was complaining and even want us to purchase every single tools that she will use to take the plugs out. What kind of service was that?? It was almost time for her to go home, so she was pissed, with attitude saying that it's not their job to replace the battery in that kind of situation. Well, it's a battery change so what does she expect? She's expecting to change a battery from a brand new car?? She said, she will cut the plug and we have to pay her so she can install it and because its her time for her to go. Pay her?? For what? As her part-time job for helping us since she's already off?! If it was her time to leave, why not leave and tell the fellow employee to help us finish it. She said that ONLY "HER" knows a lot more than her fellow employees! WoW! What an ego! The manager named Gus came to help. He was so down-to-earth guy and tried to take it out without any attitude. It was already dark, but he uses his phone as our flashlight and really did his best to cut the plugs and replace it with new ones and installed the battery. My car was having trouble starting one morning, but did... anyways my neighbor told me autozone does free battery checks, I called and it was true. I showed up and the girl was very nice she came outside to my car and hooked up the machine to my car ( I didnt have to remove anything). The Machine confirmed it was a battery, she offered to charge my battery for me which i took her up on. When i came back the manager told me it is a bad battery and wont charge (Im confused if it actually was charged or not), The girl had already gotten a replacement battery for me but it was over $100. Honestly I would have just bought it except the way the manager answered my question made me decide to shop around (thats why im giving 4 stars). I asked him "If the battery is dead, does that mean the alternator may be bad as well" (seems like a legitimate question to me, because thats what keeps it charged) But he gave me a rough answer, first giving me a Stupid stare like Im an idiot, then saying "The machine said you have a bad battery" (and im thinking yeah but still what about my alternator) He then said they cant check the alternator unless there is a certain amount of juice in the battery which i do not have, so i was suppose to buy the battery then have the alternator checked. Scam store. I borrowed my brother's truck while he went on a trip. We took the truck to the dealer for.maintenance because the truck was difficult to start. Dealer wrote battery failure. We tried to keep it going for a couple more days and got stranded a couple days later. We had to call AAA. AAA also said.the battery was bad and had to be replaced. After the battery was replaced, the problem went away. Brother came back from trip and said he the battery in the truck was purchased from Autozone less than a year ago and was still under the warranty. The store manager refused to even give a partial refund. He claimed he tested the battery and found it was good although both dealer and AAA all said it was bad. We showed him both the dealer written statement and AAA invoice. He would not budge. Although we do not need another battery, he exchanged another "DEFECTIVE" battery. Do not go there. I love this store! It is very small and sometimes (not often) they will not have the item I want to buy, but I don't take it personally. They can order it for you and have it at the store within two days. The staff is always very friendly and they are all very knowledgeable about their products and automobiles. They seem to take the extra time and effort to help you to make sure your car is running in the best condition it can. I enjoy coming here and always feel welcome and at ease, as will you! Compared to the other car part stores in this town , this place really is top notch in terms of customer service. I needed a specific screw for a part, and I asked the guy behind the counter about it, and he showed me where the screw section was, and then proceeded to find the appropriate screw for this part. Before coming here, I had gone to Kragen-O' Reilley on Sonoma Boulevard, asked for help from an employee, and all she did was show me where the screws were, and then walked off without any help. I wasn't offended, but it just proves that the employees at AutoZone take the extra time to help you. Also they seem to always have some sort of deal/coupon available.
