The customer service is out of this world, I would definitely go back and I would definitely tell friends and family about this store!

It is surprisingly hard to find OEM recommended products like auto coolant at Walmart, Target, or, Amazon. AutoZone had my choice of three different brands. Awesome! read more

Thank you ANGEL!!! I came in to ask questions about my headlamp needing to be replaced. And he came and checked on it and with his magic touch got it to light up again without me having to buy anything. So I'll be back when I do need to buy something thanks so much ANGEL!!! read more

I've been going to this location ( And AutoZone as a company for over 24 years ) for a very long time. But because of Jose made me change my tune and start going to "O"ther company. Jose is very obnoxious. I asked a few things for my 2015 Honda Civic EXL. I jokingly said please make sure he gives me the right parts because it would be a long drive back my Mechanics place who live in Concord. He accidentally gave me the wrong parts before and I had to drive back to Vallejo because when I had to exchange it in Concord they didn't have the parts. He guaranteed me all the parts were correct. Guess what it happened AGAIN. Same secanario.... c'mon bro.. he gave me all the parts for a 2015 ACCORD instead of a CIvic. And when I went back over there and I was being really polite about it. He said a smart remark saying " it's not my fault you told me the wrong car " and chuckled and looked at his employees like it wasn't his fault Now I had it. I told him : Jose I told you 3xs what parts I needed for my car and you assured me they were correct this is the 2nd time you made a huge mistake and your trying to pass off the blame on me because you don't want to be embarrassed in front of your employees. I don't have an Accord. I have a Civic, Eclipse, and a TSX. So don't try to say it's my fault when it's clearly yours. On top of that he was trying to do an exchange for the parts with no receipt. And he said it was an even exchange. I insisted on a receipt and guess what what there was a price difference. A really dishonest person. He should really be fired. His staff is good but this guy is an ________. read more

Lindsy the manager is always in a negative mood every-time I come to this autozone to purchase something. She talks to the customers and especially the associates with an attitude and always has snarky remarks. She has others help customers when she is not busy doing anything. I feel bad for the associates I dont know how they've lasted this long working with someone as difficult as her. Overall shes a bitch and I dont understand how she still has a job here. read more

I went to auto zone at 730 Adml Callaghan Ln. on 09-09-24 and Arin at this location said that all black people are fraudulent and we had are receipt. They sold me the wrong breaks they had the right boxes but the wrong part in the box. This is the second time that this store sold me the part. We opened up the box and then we realized that the breaks was wrong and that is when Arin said that we were fraudulent but he was willing to give me my money back but not exchange them. He put it off on his coworker Angel. This location is a joke. I have never ever been so mad. This piss me off. And yes I will be calling corporate and letting them listen to what Arin said about black niggas as he said. But he gave me my money back. read more

My battery was acting up the last few days and it was giving me a lot of stress. I dropped into autozone tonight and was in and out with my new battery installed! Kay helped me throughout the ordeal and did an awesome job putting in my new battery. I am so grateful! I was really worried I'd have trouble getting into work tomorrow but now I'm sure I'll make it. Thank you so much Kay for your awesome service! You are so kind!!! read more

Went in for a small item. The store is well organized. The associates were friendly and said hello immediately upon my arrival. I couldn't find the item I wanted and I asked one of the associates. He knew right away what I wanted and showed me the selections they had. Items were well priced and affordable. Easy check-out process and this location is conveniently located close to my home. I had a very good experience at this location of AutoZone. I really did. This gentlemen helping me on Saturday was very helpful. And I am not an expert in cars at all, but I needed help and he patiently explained everything I should do and shouldn't do, everything I need to get and everything I don't need to get. Also there was no line kn Saturday and I was pretty happy to not spend half a day at the car parts store like I do sometimes trying to figure out what do I need lol. Thank you for your customer service! And all of your help. P.S. By the way, I went to o'Reilly autoparts and they were not able to help me at all. They didnt have the part I needed and nether at their close by locations. So AutoZone will be my first choice from now on. read more

So if you know me, or have read any of my auto related reviews, you know that I know nearly diddly squat about cars. Nor, do I make vehicle upkeep one of my top priorities. That's right, I'm so wealthy, I don't get oil changes...I just drive my cars till the wheels fall off. Or, the engine blows up. Throw it in the gutter, go buy another. Ahhhhh, if only that was the case---me being that wealthy, that is. So....when I do have auto upkeep on my agenda, I appreciate Autozone. They've been very helpful and affordable whenever this fish outta water wanders on in with a most desperate and lost look on her face. Today, Francisco helped me check my oil and put on my newly purchased windshield wiper blades. Plus...in addition to teaching me a thing or two, he was a total QT. Love it here....but don't plan on seeing me until the next thing blows up, falls off or displays a lil lightie poo on the dashboard...for a week....or two...or three. YAY 4 AUTOZONE...they're nice to sweet helpless cougar types like me!!! Growwwwl! read more

If I could give half a star I might consider it. Auto Zone on Admiral Callahan Lane is by far the worst store. The customer service provides NO help. Sells you the wrong parts. They are to busy talking about their daily lives instead of helping customers. read more

Autozone at 2045 Springs rd would have to be the worst one I've ever been to. The employees are rude, unwelcoming and unprofessional. The manager is slow, doesn't greet people, and has no sense of urgency to help people. Often times there can be a line and one person will be at the parts counter trying to manage 6 or more customers. They need to fire the whole staff and hire people who actually want to work no matter their pay grade. I will say the store is clean though. I have family members whom of which own shops in Vallejo who refuse to do business with this place because of the unprofessionalism of the employees. The guy with the dreads acts like he knows it all and when you bring up a point and prove him wrong, he just looks at you and doesn't apologize for his mistake. This is the place you go to when you don't feel like crossing the street to go to Orielly!! I've managed a parts counter before and I've never seen people so unprofessional managing to hold onto their jobs. Possibly if Autozone payed better, they wouldn't have to hire from the bottom of the barrel. read more

We came here today for a new battery. Francis and Jose were very helpful with trying to help us find the right battery for our Honda Pilot. Also they offered to help install the battery. Although my husband didn't need any help they let us use their tools. We also bought windshield wipers which they installed free of charge. Then Jose noticed that my husband didn't secure the battery enough because he left a few screws out. Thought we didn't need it lol. Jose kindly screwed it on and told us that it's important to have the battery strapped down so it doesn't move around while driving. Overall, they were really helpful and kind, I know if we went to a shop they would of charged us an arm and a leg for the labor and parts. Glad my husband is pretty handy as well! I would definitely come back here for stuff we can do ourselves. read more

Customer service with Mary and some other women on 1-9-18 around 11am was terrible! Both had attitudes and told me wrong information. I called to return a car battery that was unused and bought the previous night was told I wasn't able to do so since those sales are final. I don't even work there and knew that was wrong. I was told I was only able to do a warranty swap which wasn't what I needed. Anyways I called the AC location and they told me to just bring it to them and my return went smoothly. Maybe a policy refresher and a customer service course would be beneficial. read more

Omg! Worst autozone store ever! We went there to have our car battery charged..The manager named Robert was so rude. He said that it is a bad battery and he doesn't know why... No recommendations or what so ever. I work at a retail store, and I know with job comes with great customer service. But this guy doesn't even have that quality. He didn't even bother offering an alternative or what not. And when he talks to you, he talks with sarcasm. It seems like his not happy with his job. And your a store manager too? You know you represent autozone right? Bad customer service! So went to O'Reilly instead... Showed them our battery and they tested it. The manager, Tristan, was awesome! He gave us recommendations and even did a price match for us. We felt like we were at Nordstrom when he was helping us. He is so knowledgeable and very courteous. He even carried the battery to our car and shook hands with him. Now, that's complete customer care! read more

Jose couldn't be a kinder person to work with! I would highly recommend this location, and I would recommend requesting to work with Jose.

Francis is the man. He went above and beyond with his customer service and help me more than I would have ever imagined.

Good store, convenient location. Usually good for the occasional jug of prestone or Castrol. I get my parts elsewhere due to the age of my truck, but if I had a newer vehicle I would definitely use them for parts. Again it's a great location for the company. Friendly staff. read more

I bought a rotor and brake pads from autozone, and the said two item was worn out right away after only using for about 6 months and the warranty is 2 years. What I cannot understand in this autozone branch here at 730 Callaghan lane, Vallejo, Ca. they deny my returning the item and it's says there in the warranty that we can return the said rotors and brake pads because of early failure and guaranteed money back as it says also in the said Autozone receipt. This Jose R. Was even trying to evade the issue that the can only replaced. Totally unacceptable because As a customer for the last 20 years. I treated like not a customer. This sake agent name Jose R. Should learn to handle such prestigious sales job. His not acting like one. My recommendation don't buy any automobile parts or products at this store. read more

Well, I had some mixed review here because I was helped by two different people in the store. I needed a battery change for my car and the plugs were the battery was attached were badly corroded. At first I was helped by a female employee, then later she called Jennifer to take off the plugs because she can't do it. Jennifer was complaining and even want us to purchase every single tools that she will use to take the plugs out. What kind of service was that?? It was almost time for her to go home, so she was pissed, with attitude saying that it's not their job to replace the battery in that kind of situation. Well, it's a battery change so what does she expect? She's expecting to change a battery from a brand new car?? She said, she will cut the plug and we have to pay her so she can install it and because its her time for her to go. Pay her?? For what? As her part-time job for helping us since she's already off?! If it was her time to leave, why not leave and tell the fellow employee to help us finish it. She said that ONLY "HER" knows a lot more than her fellow employees! WoW! What an ego! The manager named Gus came to help. He was so down-to-earth guy and tried to take it out without any attitude. It was already dark, but he uses his phone as our flashlight and really did his best to cut the plugs and replace it with new ones and installed the battery. I guess, each and everyone's experience here just depends on who's the person that helped them. Thanks Gus! Keep up the great service. read more

My car was having trouble starting one morning, but did... anyways my neighbor told me autozone does free battery checks, I called and it was true. I showed up and the girl was very nice she came outside to my car and hooked up the machine to my car ( I didnt have to remove anything). The Machine confirmed it was a battery, she offered to charge my battery for me which i took her up on. When i came back the manager told me it is a bad battery and wont charge (Im confused if it actually was charged or not), The girl had already gotten a replacement battery for me but it was over $100. Honestly I would have just bought it except the way the manager answered my question made me decide to shop around (thats why im giving 4 stars). I asked him "If the battery is dead, does that mean the alternator may be bad as well" (seems like a legitimate question to me, because thats what keeps it charged) But he gave me a rough answer, first giving me a Stupid stare like Im an idiot, then saying "The machine said you have a bad battery" (and im thinking yeah but still what about my alternator) He then said they cant check the alternator unless there is a certain amount of juice in the battery which i do not have, so i was suppose to buy the battery then have the alternator checked. I started feeling like it was a slippery slope and left, I found Costco to have better deals on Batteries. I still may have Autozone check my alternator after i get a new battery just for comfort. Anyways i like the free testing, Thanks AutoZone read more

Scam store. I borrowed my brother's truck while he went on a trip. We took the truck to the dealer for.maintenance because the truck was difficult to start. Dealer wrote battery failure. We tried to keep it going for a couple more days and got stranded a couple days later. We had to call AAA. AAA also said.the battery was bad and had to be replaced. After the battery was replaced, the problem went away. Brother came back from trip and said he the battery in the truck was purchased from Autozone less than a year ago and was still under the warranty. The store manager refused to even give a partial refund. He claimed he tested the battery and found it was good although both dealer and AAA all said it was bad. We showed him both the dealer written statement and AAA invoice. He would not budge. Although we do not need another battery, he exchanged another "DEFECTIVE" battery. Do not go there. It does not stand behind its product or service. read more

I love this store! It is very small and sometimes (not often) they will not have the item I want to buy, but I don't take it personally. They can order it for you and have it at the store within two days. The staff is always very friendly and they are all very knowledgeable about their products and automobiles. They seem to take the extra time and effort to help you to make sure your car is running in the best condition it can. I enjoy coming here and always feel welcome and at ease, as will you! Compared to the other car part stores in this town , this place really is top notch in terms of customer service. I needed a specific screw for a part, and I asked the guy behind the counter about it, and he showed me where the screw section was, and then proceeded to find the appropriate screw for this part. Before coming here, I had gone to Kragen-O' Reilley on Sonoma Boulevard, asked for help from an employee, and all she did was show me where the screws were, and then walked off without any help. I wasn't offended, but it just proves that the employees at AutoZone take the extra time to help you. Also they seem to always have some sort of deal/coupon available.
