the workers are helpful but the company is trash. I went in and waited about 15 minutes trying to buy an alternator. I saw about 6 checkout lanes with computers but I didn't see one worker checking people out. the security was stopping shop lifters but nobody was actually checking out customers who wanted to purchase items. One worker went to the back and disappeared, the other worker was busy on a call at the customer service desk. I got tired of waiting and left because the line behind me grew from 1 person to 7 people. I don't know if they can't afford to hire more workers or if it's just a Vallejo problem because it's the same at the grocery stores around here as well. all these checkout isles, long lines, and maybe 2 people max checking people out. no self checkouts anymore because people here will steal everything. spend more time waiting in line than searching for products. my cousin got layed off by autozone, and they don't have enough workers to even check me out. what is going on??? read more

Bought a cylinder head from the springs road location, it didnt come in and no call say they couldnt get it. Called this store who offered to order it from a different vendor for 200 more. Ordered that one and it was corroded and the cams are rusty. Asked if they can maybe get me another one and I have been told several times the manager will call me. No call AGAIN! Called again today and now they want me to bring the head back for a refund as per their also not knowing how to pick up a phone district manager. Go to oriley or LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE! District manage number goes to a voice mail that does not get listened to. If I could I would buy this company just so I could FIRE EVERYBODY WHO WORKS IN THE ENTIRE COMPANY! This location has had 4/5 things I've come for in the last month and even has a smog test center right next door! Won't honor warranties for anything, even if you have a receipt. They straight up told me they don't care if you just walked out and back in with a headlight bulb, they don't honor anything resembling a warranty. I don't know if they honor any inventory's warranty. Feels scummy at best. No idea if this is corporate policy or if it's locally owned. I ordered an item online to do a curbside pick up. 3 hrs passed.. no email. So I called at about 3 1/2 hours.. the person on the phone was unprofessional. I was told that the item wasn't in stock. Waited just to to be told this. They had an item, same price.. one number off. I was told I'd have to go into the store to get a refund. I bought a reman power steering pump and I gave them my core at the same time The pump Had strip bolts so I had to return it and when I went to return it they wouldn't give me back my pump they said that they paid me $30 for my pump but when you buy a part it's an extra $30 if you don't have the core but they tried to tell me that they paid me $30 for my core and will not give me back my core so when I went to buy a new one I had to pay an extra $30 because I had no core because they wouldn't give me my original pump back. Do they know what they are doing if I do a return they have to give me my part back it's not there's They didn't have any more u stock so I had to drive to Fairfield to get another one. read more

So I went to buy some things to fix my car including some much needed antifreeze. Got home, fixed the car, went to put the antifreeze in and the bottle had already been opened, I thought maybe it was an accident, poured some out and it was water! Called back and they put me on hold for 15 min, hung up and called back, on hold for another 15 min, called back asked to speak to the manager and they tried to put me on hold again so now I'm writing this review! There was one young man helping a customer and answering phones (he looked helpful and busy) and four other employees. Stood in line (by myself with no other customer around) waiting for my turn, after 2 minutes another gentleman waits behind me, then a third walks right up to the register to the elder male cashier who helps out the person who walked up to him rather than take the next person in line. After the gentleman completes his transaction, another person is helps who arrives just in time when the other person's transaction is complete. I asked if there was 1 or 2 lines and was informed there's only 1 LINE!!!??? Then why were we helped out next?!? No apologies for the inconvenience or oversight. Nothing. After trying to contact their manager with no luck, they told me to come back another time to talk to him. They don't specify the manager's hours. I'm a 60 something guy that can do most minor maintenance on my car. I bought wiper blades there that were different from the old ones and f**ked them up installing them. I took them back and this great Latino manager (he spoke Spanish with some of the customers) straightened out the problem in 5 minutes and I was on my way, no muss no fuss! i ordered 2 sets of wheel bearing for my honda accord 2015 friday morning and paid with my visa card.I was told my order will be in the store at 3pm Friday .They called me the following day Saturday Feb.02 that my order is ready. I went to auto zone to pick up my parts and they only have one and need to re order from the wearhouse and i can pick it up @5pm later the same day. I called them the next day Sunday and they said they need to re order again and they have no idea when i can get my parts while my mechanic was waiting for the part. I end up getting my refund for my order from Autozone and buy the parts and Oreily after 3 days .Never order at auto zone parts the service was horrible. read more
