Brought it to a reputable transmission place who showed me pictures and video of old original parts that were never changed out by champion transmissions. If I could give this zero stars, I would. I didn't have a ride, so I asked how long would it take and they said 1h30m. As I was waiting, I told them that I was going to wait at Panera next door. After another 45 minutes I was told that my car needed 4 tires to pass the inspection, and they were going to start changing the oil, so I asked them why did it take 2h15m minutes to figure out that my car needed 4 tires and the oil change was still pending. 30 second after the manager, Mario, came out and gave me a big attitude, saying they take the time they feel it's necessary raising his voice at me, and stated that if I had to go to the doctor, I would've waited without complaining. He was very rude and far from having a "manager" profile. In the first 30 to 40 minutes they could've called me and let me know that the inspection would not pass without replacing the tires and I would just ask them to replace them end of story. Very bad service especially coming from a "manager".

After spending $1,000 I was assured that DMV would pass my car because of the amount of money I spent and it failed for mechanical issues, not safety issues. After months of texts and calls to them, then an irate text because then I got a ticket for the inspection in OCTOBER, they told me they spent too many hours on the phone with DMV, 80+ hours, blah blah blah, and they were done. So I call DMV myself and within 1/2 hour on the phone, my job (which was really their job) was done. DMV had to contact them because the receipt they gave me was not written up properly according to DMV. Needless to say, Rich was accurate with what he said about DMV passing it, but it had to be reinspected within a month, from May to October didn't qualify!!! DMV had them redo the inspection and lo and behold, it's taken care of. They cannot honestly tell me they spend that many hours with DMV yet I accomplished all, the call, emailing DMV, everything, in 30 minutes!! As far as I'm concerned, they got their $1,000 and left me out to dry, having to do their job for them!!! I'd rather walk then to have my car repaired by them again. I hate nothing more than an untrustworthy liar and that's what they are. So if you're looking for a reliable mechanic... KEEP LOOKING!!!! So I brought the bike back to brooklyn and to Edgewares. The owner of the shop stopped what he was doing to come take a cursory look. When the battery was fizzing he knew there was a bigger issue so instead of promising a quick turn around he said he wanted to find the real problem but it could take time, and he'd follow up with an estimate. I appreciated the quick review and honest timeline. I got a call later that he had discovered some glitchy wires that may have also been shorting the battery and he had contacted rad wagon and found it. It was under warranty and was able to get me a replacement bike. I was floored! I was happy to pay for set up of the new bike as they had put a lot of time into it. When I realize I had forgotten the key lock for the battery when picking up the new bike they came to my house a mile and a half away to pick it up. It was incredible customer service. I have two ebikes and kid bikes and this place will be my go to for servicing in the future !

He worked many years for Mercedes Benz and then decided to go into his own business. He went into mobile auto repair. Anyone who has been stuck with a car in a parking lot or your own driveway knows how awful and traumatic this can be. Marc is knowledgeable , courteous and professional and did I mention reasonable. I had 3 batteries put in the same car over 3 Years. After using his diagnostic testing equipment, he checked the alternator & because the battery was 100% dead, Mark could not get an accurate reading. He went over the situation with me. It could be the alternator but not being certain. He said the best way to go is to get a 24 month guaranteed battery & he could get an accurate reading on the alternator.
