Back to shop, fixed tire and when I asked the price, they said $25, but I mentioned the wall sign says $20 fixed rate. I give the $20 and they argue with me, and someone not involved gets involved and I feel like I'm being attacked. I leave the shop again, and the back tire, just "fixed" is completely flat by the time I got home 5 blocks. I thought the shop was going to be OK, but I cannot recommend it. I'm going to go all in on this review so whomever is discouraged or reluctant on going read onward. I had a minor issue (signal light) that turned into a major problem due to going to a crappie so called scooter repair shop located on Queens blvd. let's just say this guy totally sabotaged my scooter! He managed to blow out all my lights and fried the insides of a major component I was so upset more so since the scooter had a sentimental value to me. Fortunately it was a blessing in disguise I found out from word of mouth from a fellow PEV enthusiast about Joker's Garage and Lounge, he told me these guys are incredible they can fix anything and he wasn't kidding! As I got to their shop I was immediately welcomed by the shops owners Joe and Javier aka Joker they were very nice, friendly and concerned with the way my scooter was handled by that chop shop I went to, Joe and Joker reassured me not to worry that my scooter is in good hands and I will be very pleased once there done with it they even gave me a precise time frame. The very next day I get a video by Joe explaining to me what was the issue with my scooter I contacted them back and we discussed on the repairs and even going for some "UPGRADES"...hehe I I'll tell you about the upgrades in abit. As days went on I was receiving detailed videos showing me step by step progression on my scooter with that alone I was amazed on how Joker took the time out in doing this it really spoke volumes on how seriously they take their job and customers. One day I'm at work so I get another video this time Joker let's me know she's all done and it was way ahead from the time frame he gave me. I quickly got over there the next day. Joker and Joe tell me to take her out for a spin first to let them know what I think they want to make sure before I pay them that I'm happy that there's no issues at all. I spoke with Damon for the first time on the phone for like 45 minutes and he educated me on the E-bike market and how it works. I stopped in to test ride their Yamaha Cross Core. It was so much fun. I wanted to spend more money and get the other model and Damon told me that it wasn't worth it for additional $1K. Any business owner would've said Yes, buy the expensive one for my margin but he was honest and he literally cared for me. When I purchased the bike, he gave me the run-down thoroughly and gave me a lecture on safety. I loved the shopping experience and with Damon's help, I made the right decision. Very happy. And now, I gained another Father in Damon. Adopt me.

Buyer Beware - Poor Warranty Service from Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle…read more Review: I purchased a Magicycle Deer Step-Over electric bike from Greenpath Electric Bikes (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2024. Less than a year later, the battery and display completely failed. Despite the bike being under full manufacturer warranty, I have been stuck for weeks in endless delays, conflicting information, and finger-pointing between Greenpath and Magicycle. Magicycle demanded shipping fees that were never disclosed at purchase and dismissed the serious battery issue without proper testing. Greenpath refused to intervene to resolve the situation and ultimately informed me that they would no longer service my bike -- despite selling me the product with a warranty. Throughout this process, Greenpath was unprofessional, slow to respond, and offered no loaner bike or real support while I was left without transportation to work. I gave them every opportunity to correct the situation privately. Their final communication confirmed that they have no intention of standing behind the products they sell. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding both Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle.

At no point should bolts randomly fling off your bike while you going down the Brooklyn bridge going 24mph. I'm a high school student and I had to pay for my bike with my own money. I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. On my Giant, they found a backwards jockey wheel, but I was also charged for derailleur adjustments multiple times and later learned the actual front shifting issue was a bent chainring. At one point it was suggested that I might not be shifting correctly, but the problem turned out to be mechanical. They also adjusted my saddle and stripped the bolt in the process. After multiple visits and additional issues, I lost confidence in the quality and completeness of the work.

He then rattled off a bunch of other sizes before finally going to the back to get one. When he returned, he handed me a single tube, priced at $10. I asked if there were other brands or options, and again, more attitude. He told me it's all rubber anyway and questioned why I even cared. At checkout, I gave him cash and asked if he needed anything else. He said I owed him 88 cents, so I gave him a dollar,and he threw the change into my hand so carelessly that it bounced off and fell onto the counter. No apology, no decency. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. There are plenty of other bike shops where the staff will treat you with basic respect, actually help you, and not act like you're bothering them by being there.

Panic insured as I realized I had left my rear axle in the Golden State!! It's 4:30 on Saturday when Keith gets a call from his buddy Vinnie at Bennet's Bicycle's on Staten Island asking if he has the non-standard axle I needed. At 6:30, Keith pulled up to Wagner College in Staten Island and delivered it to me in person. Unbelievable customer service and kindness. What I failed to mention to Keith is that I frequented Roy's Bikes while I was growing up in Brooklyn- many years ago!! Thanks Keith!!!
