Back to shop, fixed tire and when I asked the price, they said $25, but I mentioned the wall sign says $20 fixed rate. I give the $20 and they argue with me, and someone not involved gets involved and I feel like I'm being attacked. I leave the shop again, and the back tire, just "fixed" is completely flat by the time I got home 5 blocks. I thought the shop was going to be OK, but I cannot recommend it. Plus, I have a completely flat back tire.

Honest Business. Period…read more I was looking for an E-bike for my commute so found this shop and spoke with the owner in a span of few weeks before I made my decision. I spoke with Damon for the first time on the phone for like 45 minutes and he educated me on the E-bike market and how it works. I stopped in to test ride their Yamaha Cross Core. It was so much fun. I wanted to spend more money and get the other model and Damon told me that it wasn't worth it for additional $1K. Any business owner would've said Yes, buy the expensive one for my margin but he was honest and he literally cared for me. When I purchased the bike, he gave me the run-down thoroughly and gave me a lecture on safety. I loved the shopping experience and with Damon's help, I made the right decision. Very happy. And now, I gained another Father in Damon. Adopt me.

Buyer Beware - Poor Warranty Service from Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle…read more Review: I purchased a Magicycle Deer Step-Over electric bike from Greenpath Electric Bikes (Brooklyn, NY) in June 2024. Less than a year later, the battery and display completely failed. Despite the bike being under full manufacturer warranty, I have been stuck for weeks in endless delays, conflicting information, and finger-pointing between Greenpath and Magicycle. Magicycle demanded shipping fees that were never disclosed at purchase and dismissed the serious battery issue without proper testing. Greenpath refused to intervene to resolve the situation and ultimately informed me that they would no longer service my bike -- despite selling me the product with a warranty. Throughout this process, Greenpath was unprofessional, slow to respond, and offered no loaner bike or real support while I was left without transportation to work. I gave them every opportunity to correct the situation privately. Their final communication confirmed that they have no intention of standing behind the products they sell. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, I strongly recommend avoiding both Greenpath Electric Bikes and Magicycle.

On my Giant, they found a backwards jockey wheel, but I was also charged for derailleur adjustments multiple times and later learned the actual front shifting issue was a bent chainring. At one point it was suggested that I might not be shifting correctly, but the problem turned out to be mechanical. They also adjusted my saddle and stripped the bolt in the process. After multiple visits and additional issues, I lost confidence in the quality and completeness of the work.

Instead of helping, he gave me attitude and sarcastically asked, "What's 700C?" Before I could answer, I clarified my tire is 27 1/4. He then rattled off a bunch of other sizes before finally going to the back to get one. When he returned, he handed me a single tube, priced at $10. I asked if there were other brands or options, and again, more attitude. He told me it's all rubber anyway and questioned why I even cared. At checkout, I gave him cash and asked if he needed anything else. He said I owed him 88 cents, so I gave him a dollar, and he threw the change into my hand so carelessly that it bounced off and fell onto the counter. No apology, no decency. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. There are plenty of other bike shops where the staff will treat you with basic respect, actually help you, and not act like you're bothering them by being there.
