They usually have three or four full-time A class technicians while other shops most of the time have only one. Excellent place if you have a problem that no one wants to help you including dealerships. One time I had a problem in 2014 with my fathers 2012 Toyota Rav4. The break pedal was soft with engine off and felt weak. I went to two Toyota dealerships since the car had a warranty and they said it was normal while I knew that there was a problem. I finally went to Middle Country Automotive. They confirmed that a break pedal can not be soft with engine off and diagnosed the problem to be ABS pump probably needed bleeding since it was probably not done at the factory. They connected the diagnostic computer and activated the ABS solenoids to bleed the trapped air in the pump. After 15 minutes the brake pedal was nice and firm. I filed a complain at NHTSA and I think it triggered a recall that Toyota hid under some other problem with the ABS pump. At Toyota dealership when I went for the recall the dealership techs only connected the computer the same way the Middle Country Automotive techs did!

They dropped my gas tank to fix a leak and put the gas tank on too tight. Which prevented the evap…read morevalve from opening and I wasn't able to fill up my gas tank. I took it back and they lowered the tank slightly so the valve could open. Not long after my check engine light came on and codes P0442 and P0446 popped up. The mechanic admitted they put the gas tank on too tight, which led to the solenoid malfunction. They offered to fix it for $500! I don't recommend anyone take their vehicle here. They have a pattern of creating more problems for their customers than solving them.

He was not wearing anything that said 'jiffy lube' on it, and looked like he just rolled out of bed. He said was there by himself but can't do an oil change until his friend comes back. Against my better judgment, I went back after running errands. Still Javian, but now with a colleague (didn't get his name), who also was not wearing anything that identified him as a Jiffy Lube employee. I said hi I'm back is it ok? Javian answered what do you mean? I said you told me to Come back before when you were alone. He then says that he never did that and that I must be crazy! I asked to speak to the colleague instead and they both came closer to me and reeked of weed and alcohol. A car pulled in behind me, and smelled this as well, as the driver looked at me and held her nose and made her hand into a drinking gesture. The colleague said it's all Good, I can change your oil. I said not thanks I need to go. The car behind me had already left. I hope whoever owns this franchise is aware of how unprofessional and rude Javian is...and that he and the other guy work impaired. I've been taking my cars to this place for years and this time was very different for the worst…read more I'll just be factual. Today, I showed up on the dot for inspection and oil change. I didn't have a ride, so I asked how long would it take and they said 1h30m. As I was waiting, I told them that I was going to wait at Panera next door. After 1h30m, I came back, the car was starting to be looked into. After another 45 minutes I was told that my car needed 4 tires to pass the inspection, and they were going to start changing the oil, so I asked them why did it take 2h15m minutes to figure out that my car needed 4 tires and the oil change was still pending. 30 second after the manager, Mario, came out and gave me a big attitude, saying they take the time they feel it's necessary raising his voice at me, and stated that if I had to go to the doctor, I would've waited without complaining. He was very rude and far from having a "manager" profile. In the first 30 to 40 minutes they could've called me and let me know that the inspection would not pass without replacing the tires and I would just ask them to replace them end of story. Very bad service especially coming from a "manager".
