Terrible Auto mechanics knowledge & did not have any tools (OBD reader) to diagnose my engine light for codes too. Turned out my spark plugs were misfiring. I wanted NGK racing plugs, which they normally carry. They had 2. An i was sold "iridium spark plugs" which were $20 more than i wanted to spend. I was also missing 2/3 exhaust to manifold bolts with a 2cm gap making my compression idle high (when i gave my throttle cable a couple taps, it would almost die), which was causing my car to stall after engaging 1st gear and accelerating. The employees tried telling me it was a vacuum leak, it was my distributor cap & rotor without a proper diagnosis. n tried getting me to buy 180 piece tool set when i literally only needed 5 pieces of any tool set, to fix my problem. They could have easily helped me if they wouldve opened a new OBD reader out the package and wrote it off. Due to the fact prior customers had stolen theirs, i was given the run around, treated like i didnt know what was going on with my car. This place opened just a few months ago and seems to be in good shape. It's in a convenient location and offers a good amount of parking, which is important when you need to get a check engine light code or battery test (both of which are free). I came in here needing to diagnose a problem and the manager helped me out. He was very friendly and ended up figuring out that I just needed a new battery. He made sure to test it several times (twice at the car and once on the bench) to ensure that I didn't end up wasting money on something I didn't need. As it turned out, the battery I had was still under warranty from Autozone, so I was able to trade it in for about 50 bucks towards a replacement. I also placed an order for some park plugs; I got a call letting me know they arrived the following day. All in all, this is a great place to go for automotive needs. All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. You can also sign up for a rewards card (at no expense) that will give you points for every 20 bucks you spend. read more

Today my friend and I stopped by after work to get bulbs for our headlights and not only did we get what we needed but the staff helped us replace our burnt out bulbs. I had the worst customer service that I've ever experienced at this location. In the past, I've had a good experience with autozone, but as with most corporations, not all stores are equal. I went to get my car battery replaced since it was under warranty and out of the six people working they send the newest employee who couldn't speak English well. Even though he was obviously struggling, the other employees made no effort to be helpful in this situation. When it came time to change the battery, no one was helpful even though I was the only customer there. Actually a crackhead, who dropped his crack pipe outside the front door, walked in got better customer service than I received. The only plus side was there were no questions asked when replacing my battery which died under a year. read more

Francesca, the Parts Manager and the sales rep Kissie were super helpful in helping me find the correct wiper blades that I needed. At first we had picked out the wrong blades, and it took us a while until we realized that the cheapest brand actually fit my car, despite the fact that the database said I needed hybrid blades. Both of them were patient and even helped me install them. It was probably 30 mins until they closed and they were very accommodating and friendly. I called about 30 minutes before closing looking for some chains since I had changed my rims/tires and was heading up the mountain passes the next morning. They asked me for my tire size to check their inventory before making my way down to their store. I didn't have my tire size off the top of my head so I guessed. When I got to the store they had it at the counter waiting for me. Talk about going above and beyond! I called Sunday morning to ask if they would price match Costco for a car battery. The man said yes, so I went there Sunday evening to get the battery, and Francesca at the counter curtly told me they wouldn't match membership clubs, but that they could match places like "Pep Boys, Napa, or even Walmart if the cold cranking amps match." So I pulled up Walmart's prices and found an identical battery in size, CCA, and warranty, and it was $94 compared to Autozone's $140. She saw this and her coworker said "wow that's a lot cheaper, are you sure we price match Walmart" and they changed their mind on the spot and refused to sell it to me. Despite a drawn out conversation (argument) about how they just said they price match Walmart, and their written policy on the website says they would, they refused to sell it, instead said "why don't you go drive over to Walmart then?" Answer: because I bought a Duralast 5 years ago, price matched to Costco back then without a problem, and have been happy with the battery. In other words, I was a happy return customer. Not anymore -- rude employees who make up the policies as they go. Will just go to Costco and drop it in myself. read more

I needed to replace a burned-out headlight and they looked up the type of bulb I needed for my car. However, when I tried to install the new bulb, it did not fit into the headlamp. I took it back to the store, irritated that they had sold me the wrong part. Instead, they gently pointed out that I was trying to install it in the high beam lamp, rather than the main headlamp. Gerado offered to install it for me for free--he went out to the parking lot with me and installed the new bulb and replaced the high beam one that I had mistakenly removed. I really appreciated their kindness as well as Gerado's efficiency with installing the two bulbs. He saved me a lot of time and stress. I will definitely go back there! read more

I had a great experience at this AutoZone! After I discovered that my battery died, I called the closest AutoZone to confirm that they had the replacement I needed in stock. The employee I spoke to was very helpful, and even gave me some tips for removing the battery. When we got to the store I was promptly helped, and the employee let me know all of my options, which included a free 60 minute charge, or replacing the battery through my warranty. I chose to replace the battery outright. The transaction was very efficient and friendly, and he even carried the battery out to the car because it is pretty heavy.
