They don't pick up their phone. Didn't tell me that my order got lost and was the last one. Instead autozone one day delivery emails me to tell me to go to the location to pick it up. It's not there and they can't give me one because it was the last one. I called multiple times and they didn't pick up before arriving. They also didn't try delivering it the actual day I ordered either (it was same day delivery and before the latest order time), but the next day. And then I have been charged 3 times instead of refunding me for my $250 order. read more

Of all my buying experiences at any store in my entire life - the 3 times - I have been in this store has been the worst. This is a 5 block walk uphill most of the way. I checked the web page if the item I needed was in stock. I arrived it was not. No help in trying to find another one or something else that might work. The guy said check aisle 4 in the tools might be something there. My second trip after waiting 15 minutes, then after telling the clerk / manager what exact screw I needed, I waited for 15 minutes for him to find them - they were in a bag and I made the mistake not to double check. Arrived home wrong screws not even close. Last trip again I checked the webpage before going and it showed this location had 1 in stock - nope - could not find it says happens all the time. Then waiting to buy a few other things here is the manager and another clerk talking: Whose on hold - some guy that is looking for a part - I'm going on break after I ring him up,--well what part does he want - no idea - hmmmm - then after he was done with me the clerk picked up the phone and immediately hung up - saying oh well. I came during regular hours with multiple employees visible. But they told me the location was closed and wouldn't open the doors. I called in they said they would open in 15 minutes. I came with a return after the 15 mins. Old black man was really rude. Super condescending and proceeded to tell me they take no returns of jacks or batteries. I came to get my check engine light looked at. Walked into the store & 2 employees walked right past me outside to go chit chat loudly. Alright, they're probably on break, I thought. So I waited at the front counter for 15 minutes. Literally. Stood there and waited for anyone to help me. I know they heard me come in, and I said "hello?" 3 times, loud enough for anyone to hear from the back. No employees to be seen, terrible experience. This is a very common experience from the last 5 times I've been here. Very disinterested in helping you, and god forbid you find someone and you ask directly for help - you'll be greeted by passive aggressive comments for sure. read more

Currently patrols in the area due to recent crime, I have to agree the area isn't the best or safest at the moment. They actually did a really good job with assisting and they did what needed to be done, but I got the impression that some employees are having a long day or didn't want to provide additional assistance or answers to questions. Phone assistance tried his best, but he didn't understand my question and answered something else. There was a language barrier, so I repeated a few times to clarify. Very patient on the phone, and in general, phone assistance is probably good and reasonable with all the employees here. read more

I tried to return an item ordered online to this autozone and wasted 2 hours of my time because one of their sales associates did everything they could to prevent me from returning the item. They gave reason after reason trying to explain why I shouldn't/couldn't return the item, despite it being unused and having the receipt. It was clear they were just trying to pressure me into keeping the item in order to save their store/company money. The amount of trouble they gave me over a simple return bordered on breaking the written autozone return policy and is a predatory business practice. I now plan on taking my business to other nearby stores that offer decent customer service and honor their return policies. Like other reviews have stated, this store also houses frequent theft, fighting and other crime going on, but that is more of the location's issue rather than the management of the store. read more

I ordered online because no one seemed to have what I needed in local parts stores. Was able to order exactly what I wanted from AutoZone online sales and received my package in a timely matter only to find out after opening the box that I was sent the incorrect item, so I checked to make sure I had ordered correctly and yes I had. Come to find out their return policy states that you have to have the invoice to return an item. Well there was no invoice in the box so I tried a chat with AutoZone but I was timed out before I could get my problem across on the chat,tried a couple more times,same result. Tried to return the item at the local AutoZone store with no luck but was given a phone number for AutoZone customer service. Well that didn't work out either. I was only given options by a robot voice only to be put on a never ending hold. Never again! read more

Auto Zone Alternators are JUNK! I purchased a NEW, not refurbished alternator for my Acura from Autozone back in April of 2022. Six months later on October 21, 2022, it started acting up. The alternator I replaced back in April appeared to be the same brand. It failed just after year after I bought this car which was only driven less than 4k miles. Duralast alternators are garbage! Auto Zone's return policy is basically non-existent. They will trade you for replacement piece of junk, but then you'll be stuck in an endless cycle of paying for labor to replace this part every 6 months to a year. It's a money pit and a trap. Years ago, I replaced my alternator using the same brand for my Toyota. Afterwards, I would receive a high pitch feedback through my car speakers. It was very annoying. I should have learned my lesson then. I do not recommend any alternator from Auto Zone, O'Reilly's, etc. Save yourself the headaches and time wasted by staying away from these places! Have your stock alternator rebuilt or buy genuine parts. Believe me and you will thank me for it. read more

I was in the market for windshield wiper blades and using their online system, I ended up with the wrong blades (not as much of a fan of their online process!) Someone pried off my side mirror from my car, but someone on the phone said he could get a new one next day if I came in to order it. So I came in, that guy from the phone had left and no one kept the order details. And this guy in store had no idea what he was doing, it was very clear and I was there for a half hour while he figured out how to even order the same part. I ordered it, he said he would call when it was in, so next day was never going to happen, awesome. They never called me, so two weeks later I just showed up asking for the part and they had SENT IT BACK because I didn't come in for it. I had just come in to return a sun shield, bc it was ripped when I bought it , a week ago. I HAD THE RECEIPT! No returns, of course, and he gave me the 3rd degree about even an exchange. REALLY??? The asst. manager harassed me in front of a bunch of people. When I didn't want to give my phone number, he told me he wouldn't help me. I will spare you his name. Worst auto experience ever. I called ahead and asked if they would be able to attach my new license plates to my car. I Asked how long it would take and confirmed that they would do it for free. I drive there and I was greeted by an older man named Jerome who proceeded to shame me for not knowing how to put the plates on my own. When I entered I asked him he could put my plates on. He leads me to the aisle with screws and I repeat that I am looking for someone to do it for me. I told him I called beforehand and I didn't have time to do it myself because I had to get back to work. He told me that he "all for woman empowerment and that I should know how do that and that I needed to do it myself. I repeated that I called. I spoke to someone name Marcel and he said he could do it for me. Jerome said that I didn't speak to him and he wasn't going to be doing that. Another customer heard how Jerome was speaking to me and offered to help me instead. Jerome gave him a flat screw driver and as me and this customer walked out yelled for the whole store to hear "And make sure she does it!" This was incredibly humiliating, sexist and unnecessary. I spoke to the shift lead and before I could complain the lead already knew who I was talking about. I will be speaking with the store manager and corporate. You have lost a customer today. I generally don't leave reviews but George/Jorge (?) and his mate helped me out of a potentially bad scenario with my Subaru on Easter Sunday no less. I had lost a nut trying to clean the corrosion on my battery. What went from needing a nut, turned into my battery not working, and from both of them helping me out, I went from a nut, to a battery replaced due to warranty, to them fixing my battery shortage due to corrosion which they fixed out of the kindness of their hearts. I can't recommend these two guys and AutoZone enough for helping this novice out of a tough spot! read more

Just called to ask for battery test they hang up on me. My friend went to test the battery they refused to do it, claim that they only accept the battery taken out to be tested inside. All other autozone was able to do it except for this location. I guess you have to bribe them buy a part before you ask for testing here read more

But other then that not much to complain about. The next time I went for a headlight for me car. The guy was not to friendly, made inappropriate remarks && made me feel alittle uncomfortable. I had the best customer service here. Not knowing anything about batteries, I was nervous about getting taken advantage of. Boy, was I wrong! Store manager JJ, Julio and Chris jumped into action. They searched for the most affordable battery and found it. I paid alot less than I thought it would be. Then Julio installed my new battery. They are the best! DO NOT GO! Terrible customer service. I have never felt so disrespected & unwelcome. All I wanted was a simple wiper blade change and the worker refused to go out to my car because it was raining (this is the PNW, ridiculous). When I gave him my own umbrella he was consistently rude, gave me dirty looks, belittled me for not changing them myself & then didn't even know how to change them himself. He yanked on them clueless until I stopped him & asked him to leave. * I had called store 10m prior to arrival & asked if this was a service they provided and the workers claimed they would surely help. My car battery died and had to get it jumped. Went into the store to ask for assistance to have the battery checked. I was told its too dark and that they would not help out. So I asked if could buy and battery and have it installed. They told me that its too dark and that they were about to close. They close at 9pm it was 6pm . This is the best parts store ever. Staff is capable and knowledgeable, been shopping here forever and will continue do so after my experience today. That said: The DuraLast website says "Every duralast battery has at least a two year warranty." Nope. Doesn't say anywhere that motorcycle batteries have only a 90 day warranty. I wouldn't buy a toaster with a 90 day warranty. The computer informed me of this when I attempted to return a 10 month old battery with a bad cell (a rare occurrence). The store manager apologized but explained that was the duralast policy on motorcycle batteries. I bought another, drove home and called autozone. Talked to a very professional guy in Tennessee, he promised me a callback within 72 hours. An hour later, the Regional Manager called me from home! I directed him to the DuraLast website and he said: I will take care of this. He did. Same day. Outstanding!!!! DuraLast needs to take care of their website but the folks at AutoZone on 23rd and Jackson made up for it and some. Great store worth a longer drive, promise. read more

Update: I was incorrect when I said we had finally gotten all the parts. I went to do my brakes and rotors this last Friday, only to discover that there were only 2 rotors in the packages, rather than 4. We called this AutoZone location, only to be told they didn't have my parts and that we had to drive 30 minutes out of our way to a different location just to get the parts. Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with a car parts store, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THEM! read more
