If I could give more than 5 I would! I've been dealing with car battery issues for almost two weeks and was honestly beyond frustrated. I had gone to the AutoZone in Revere first -- the young woman at the register was very sweet and even came out to test my battery and alternator. She tried her best and told me they could charge my battery if I waited, but then came back to say her manager wouldn't allow it unless I took the battery out myself and brought it in. I was shocked and honestly disappointed. She suggested I try another location, so I called the Saugus AutoZone -- and that's when everything turned around. Roy picked up, and after I explained my situation, he told me to come right in and he'd take a look. Roy went ABOVE and beyond. He was patient, kind, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to remove my battery himself, made sure he had the correct tools, and walked me through everything with zero frustration or attitude. After two stressful weeks dealing with this issue, Roy's professionalism and genuine care made all the difference. Thank you SO much, Roy. I go to this AutoZone a lot on route one in Saugus because I have several used vehicles for work and play. Their customer service is pretty good and similar to the Napa that is on Main St Saugus. I have read the other mostly positive reviews and I agree with what has been stated. That being said, you have to shop around because sometimes Napa is cheaper but I would say Autozone on average is a little less money and sometimes a lot less money read more

I came in with my 2007 Mercedes GL450 after spending close to $3,000 last week at the Dealership. My 'Check Engine' light was on and did not get calls back from the Dealership about it. I brought in my car on 10 minutes notice and Joseph assisted me with a quick computer hook up. In 5 minutes, we had identified the part needed and how to fix the issue. After coming back into the store, Jean, a new comer to Autozone, had a great suggestion as to what the problem could be as well. Came here to buy new windshield wipers. It was the first time I changed the wipers on my car since buying it from the dealer 2 years ago, the book that was in the aisle was an outdated version, so my year, make and model wasn't included. My daughter's check engine light was on . I took it to the Auto Zone in Saugus. Just like the commercials say a very nice young lady went to the car . She hooked up a device inside the car . Than she went inside and printed up a paper that told me what was wrong . It took less than 3 minutes ! I brought that to the dealer . What a great experience ! read more

I have to agree with the other reviewer here...They are top notch in customer service. They're ALWAYS willing to answer questions and assist in any way. I use Rockauto once in a while but always end up back here since it's easier to return things. Rockauto is a pain to return things and I've even had them get a little flip with me, who needs attitude in this economy.
