Great service! Great people but don't bring your Audi or your BMW there to be programmed. I don't believe they know how.to do it. I paid to have two vehicles done to Audis. Found out they were not programmed. I had to purchase software for $90 and do it myself. read more

Do not go, unless you want to get hustled, I went in for a battery he told me he didn't have the type of battery that it was a premium battery then he tried to tell me I needed some sort of switch that goes along with the battery and when I told him that I did not want to replace what he was telling me he told me he did not have the battery, it was a pure hustle job, stay away. I visited this Interstate location just after the big freeze at the beginning of February which killed my car battery. I forgot the name of the cashier and the worker who installed the new car battery but they were able to provide strong recommendations on what to get for the car so I didn't have to spend an extra $100 on a battery that would have been overqualified for what the car required. A few months ago I went to Interstate Battery in Woburn, MA and bought two 12V sealed gel batteries for computer and Verizon power backup devices. When I got home I discovered that one of the batteries had the wrong terminal size and wouldn't fit. I called the store the next morning and spoke to a nice woman (Janine?) who said that they would take care of it. The next day, someone arrived at my door with the correct battery. Nothing but praise for this place. When I needed a new battery but could not find the stamp indicating how old the battery was, Brett was nice enough to do a video call with me to help me locate it. He even offered to do this after he got home from work! My battery was still under warranty and a new one was delivered to my local service shop within hours for no charge. Recently noticed my car was taking a bit more to start this winter than in winters past, so I took my car here. The test was quick, installation and payment was quick, and I was on my way probably within like 15 min once my car was in the garage. Best batteries around and great customer service the Woburn location. Hard to get to if your not from the area but well worth it

Their warranties are terrible. Purchased a marine battery in April 2019 and it is dead already. I believe it died last fall...Returned it in early July 2020 and was told sorry it is a 12 month warranty so tough luck. In my mind it is a crappy product with a crappier warranty. Fantastic service every time I have been here. Brett (not sure if he is the manager, but he is the guy behind the desk) is super friendly, well-spoken, and is always trying to give you the best deal possible. It's a nice change of pace compared to the often grumpy and condescending people you find at places like this. Today's service prompted me to write this review. My 4 month old battery was fried due to my car's failing alternator (1990 BMW). It was my own (or at least my car's) fault that the battery died, and yet they replaced it with a brand new battery for free. Additionally, installation was free, and they checked other things like my alternator for free. It would have been perfectly understandable for me to have to pay for the new battery. They really went above and beyond. I will say the batteries here are a few bucks more than what you might find elsewhere, but these are the best batteries, and between the quality of the batteries and the service, it's easily worth it. read more

I went to Woburn from Wakefield. Interstate are very good batteries. They have a good warranty about six years. They are a couple of hundred dollars but worth it. Removal of the old and Installation of the new. Very friendly guys with much knowledge of there trade. read more

Total Scumbags. They have no interest in honoring Interstates Warranty. Told me that I had to leave the battery with them overnight for them to test it even though they knew I needed it replaced then and there. Told me I could buy another one. Made no sense. I brought the battery to a NAPA and they tested it. It FAILED. After that I took it to another Interstate Dealer. I didn't say a word, just asked them to check it. They did right there on the spot. They are fantastic. I needed a battery for my 2001 Benz and the dealership quoted me $453 installed. I questioned the dealership (in a neighboring town) & then the price went down to $356. I called around & I kept being told that I needed a 49H8 battery. I called Interstate & the gentleman who answered the phone was great, patient & not dismissive to me (as some car places are to women who call asking questions). I got a AAA jump & drove there & the sweetest guy, Phillippe greeted me. A really knowledgeable guy named Claude looked at my old battery & compartment size & said the 49H8 was not going to fit. He humored me so I could see for myself that THE DEALERSHIP SUGGESTED THE WRONG SIZE & Phillippe tried putting the dealership recommended battery in there, but it wasn't even close to fitting. We tried the smaller 48H6 that Claude suggested & it fit like a glove. They are great recyclers & Nick, the guy who rang me up, gave me a sweet deal. Not condescending, polite, patient, good-natured, experienced, fast, clean & a great price! They could not have been any better. A+++ read more
