I've gone here twice for repairs through insurance, fender work and side panel scratch. For those minor repairs, their quality has been amazing; however, my car was returned with scratches on the rear windshield.... They do great work, are timely, professional, and communicate. Drove to Ace the next day and the folks here took care of the insurance adjuster and all the other rigmarole. Turnaround time is very fast. Facility is very clean and orderly. I appreciate that Rich called me a couple times to update me on the status of everything. They cleaned the interior and exterior of the car before getting it back to me. They even fixed a couple dents and dings on my hood that were not related to the snow plow accident. I had complete peace of mind dealing with Ace and will be using them again whenever the need arises. The folks here really exceed expectations. Not professional and unfriendly at all, I wasted time, energy and money. They didn't fix my car and I still had to pay money. Last week, I drove to the Ace auto body shop to fix my front bumper. The front desk staff saw my car and promised that if the front bumper arrived on Tuesday, it would be repaired on Wednesday and gave me a quote. But on Tuesday, their front desk staff called and told me that they couldn't fix my car. I went to the body shop early the next morning and they booked the wrong front bumper. The front desk staff blamed me, why didn't I tell them, and I had to pay them $100 to reattach the front bumper. It was just a small slit, and my car is even worse now. On Wednesday afternoon, I called to ask if they had put my front bumper back in. Are you open the body shop? I have already told you the model number of my car, and you have promised that there is no problem at the time. And when you place an order, you have pictures. Don't you think that there is a big difference? Do you want to blame me for not telling you now? read more

I was very disappointed in this place. It's a family owned business. I asked for an estimate to paint my whole car and the owner gave me a story and told me they are very expensive as though I couldn't afford their work. This really made me mad. I took my business to Sussi auto body in dorchester I was treated like a customer with respect and professionalism they didn't act like snobs telling me I can't afford their work. read more

Ace is great! From start to finish. They took a lot of the hassle out of getting my car fixed. They gave me an estimate very quickly and helped to get the insurance company to cover repairs that they didn't catch. They even called the car rental shop to come and get me and picked up. Let me just preface this review with its never my fault!!!! :) As a resident of the city of Boston I have been lucky enough to enjoy the potholes, on street parking, and tiny garage spaces. Ive been leasing my cars for 12 years now, and returning my cars in pristine condition is always a priority (If you don't want that damage bill after your lease return). With all of that said, the ONLY place I take my cars to get fixed is ACE AUTO BODY. One phone call and Im greeted right away, asked if I need a rental pickup,(Enterprise is literally always already waiting!!) and Im in and out. Lets just say that I may be an anomaly when it comes to the frequency of my vehicle mishaps, but knowing that Ace Auto Body always treats me like its my first time every time Im confident you will feel the same way about this family owned auto body. I can't say enough about everyone from start to finish they make the process seamless. Don't let a Bostonian with road rage or one of our infamous snowstorms ruin your day with damage to your car.... I brought my 2014 Toyota Camry to Ace after I had been rear ended. They were paid by my insurance to replace the bumper and the trunk lid as both were damaged. When I got the car back the bumper had only partially been replaced with gaps between the new and old parts. The trunk latch had been repaired instead of being totally replaced and now has gaps between the trunk and car and, when it's cold, it won't open at all. When I spoke to them about it I was told the manager, Rich, made the decision to do partial repairs even though they were paid for full repairs and he won't make things right. I cannot recommend this business as I feel they didn't do the repairs correctly and won't make an effort to make it right. read more
