Needed body work on my car from a accident. First time using Susi Auto body shop. The estimated time was 20 days without my car. But the staff had my car fixed by 15 days early. Back left side of driver side was damaged and my left blinker light was not working. Rob Susi was point of contact at the shop. His staff was friendly and great customer service! JC was my point of contact and he truly couldn't have been better to work with, he was straight forward on the cost and let me know the options and helped me with the insurance claim. I brought my new 2025 Honda CR-V with an accident on the driver's side fender , with an estimate of 7,000 dollars, but in the end it came to 15,600. When I went to pick up the car, the two doors were scratched on the inside, the door panels full of holes as if welded, the car's fuse boxes all scratched. They had given a bunch of spare parts to pay for insurance, but they were never installed. When I complained, they told me if I had a photo of the new car with 2,000 miles. They changed the covers of the fuse boxes, provided me with other parts, but 3 days later when I got the car, they asked the insurance for another 1,600 dollars for errors. But the car was mine possession, and they were a bit dishonest. They changed the two door panels. I filed a complaint and I am waiting. stay away from this place they are a shark read more

Have come here twice and they did a great job both times. They were able to get us in more quickly and for slightly less money than another shop we had asked. They underestimated the repair time (for a relatively minor issue) by 1-2 weeks the second time around, which made it difficult since we did not plan to be without a car for that long. Repaired my car back to working condition which I happy with. Issues: JC conveniently forgot to call me for an "issue" regarding the wiper fluid that all of a sudden not working. Tried to suggest maybe I dont want or need to use wiper fluid on the windshield, like wth. My main gripe is that they charged an additional repair to my insurance a month later after I received the car. Not sure why this wasn't evaluated before but be careful. I can tell my car was being searched the glove department and my central console. Someone also took something from my car. It wasn't a big deal I'm just going to replace it && buy some more! I took my car to Susi Auto Body at the direction of my insurance company after sustaining some damage to my car. Tony was really awesome about walking me through the repairs process and explaining how it works with the insurance company. Unfortunately, despite every possible best effort by Tony and amazing due diligence by him, my car was beyond repair and needed to be totaled. Tony was really great about helping me through the subsequent totaling process. Obviously the situation didn't work out as anyone would have hoped, but I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of Susi during a complicated time with my vehicle. Came in and pick up my car. They have really poor customer service. They were yelling and argueing with customers. They didn't give a chance for the customer to speak. I was told my car was ready and inspected and I picked it up the next day and when inspecting it the next day the inside had not been buffed out nor had the car been cleaned. I was told it would take 5 minutes but it took another 30. The person I dealt with never apologized and the inside of the car still had old parts from the car that I had to throw away and the car was not cleaned in any way. Not sure who inspected the car but I will NEVER go back and will ensure my insurance company, Geico, takes this vendor off of their approved list. They are not professionals. read more

As good as a body shop can get... I was involved in an accident and my front bumper got a little dented up. I brought my car to Susi as it is a partner with my insurer Geico. The process was really great considering the circumstances. I booked my appointment online and was able to get in within a few days of the accident. I was greeted by the on-site Geico adjuster who went through everything with me. He got the rental car ready for me as well. They go through Enterprise, which is across the street. I got an estimate later that day, and told my car would be ready within a week. I was in and out within 30 minutes, which was much quicker than I anticipated. I got my car back as promised the following week. The bodywork was really good--so good that the front end looks better than the rest of the car! Told by GEICO to bring my vehicle in for assessment after car was hit and damaged. Off to a bad start when I was told "all set" only to receive a phone call 5 minutes later asking for me to come back and sign paperwork. Fortunately they were agreeable to emailing documents. Later that afternoon i received a phone call from Susi asking for me to call them back. The next morning I returned their phone call and they had no idea why I was calling (meanwhile i had not received repair quote or ETA as to when vehicle would be repaired). Very odd and very unorganized. About a month after the repair my headlight started to fallout. I would not use them again. read more

I am a long time client of Susi since 2000. They've done all of our cars. We have yet ever complain a job. Whatever that was not on the list could be mentioned to them knowing they'll take care of it. Most recent is my wife Audi A4 that is 3 days old. The front end was melted from the dumpster fire. Everything was taken care of included extra clear bra that was installed on it. Before that, my Audi s4 was in a crash during a blizzard. I told Rob my engine is acting up right after the crash. He called Progressive immediately to inform them. Progressive sent a tow truck and brought to Audi Of Brookline. After a few days the car was declared totaled lost due to timing chain being misaligned. There's many more cars. I honestly have never had any problem. I'm sure if I do, they'll correct it immediately. read more

It is pretty ironic that you had time to write the comment here, but your fellow staff did not bear to wait for 15mins for me to pick up my car. Your review mentioned 'after hour appointment', but during our interactions, no one brought up this option, and your staff constantly asked me to fit the appointment into your work schedule. I hope my car is 'impeccable' by your auto shop, since all the cosmetic problems should be covered, and no mechanical/functional issue come up since no such issue before. ----- I heard people saying yelp reviews are purchased, or at least fake, so please discount good reviews here! Also check out other reviews, like Google! The reason for me to write the review is to not let other customers have the same experience as I did! If you are looking for a shop with flexible schedule and good customer services, this shop should be the last option you think of. I really do not understand why they have 4+star reviews, and it is highly possible most reviews are from friends or employees there or pro review writers. My insurance and I spent $5k in their shop for my car! However, every time I tried to reach them, it was a hassle! I sent emails to them, they either never replied or did not answer my questions directly, and when I reached them, they said no email record, so you see, they either deliberately deleted emails, or did not have management in place! Woo hoo, two FTR's is one day! My husband brought his car here because his door was hit and the lock didn't work. Or, at least we thought it was hit but the guys at Susi said it looked like someone may have been trying to break into it. These guys were great. The part they needed was back-ordered for a couple of weeks, during which time my husband had a crappy rental car that was really bad in the snow. When we knew more snow was coming and that we had a drive to NH planned he called to see if there was anything they could do to get it to him sooner. The folks at Susi were so accommodating and totally got his car ready for him ASAP. They were fast and kind and extremely helpful. I hadn't been in my new home in Dorchester more than a week or so when I managed to get into a very minor parking lot mishap. The owner of the other car was willing to arrange for repair without going through the insurance company, and suggested Susi Auto Body. This was back in 1988, and I have been a loyal Susi customer ever since! Back then it was just Gordie in the office and Dino in the (much smaller) shop, plus the worker bees; now of course it has become the Susi dynasty with the next generation working in a fabulous expanded plant, but the service they provide, then and now, is nonpareil -- I cannot imagine ever going anywhere else! They epitomize professionalism. Everyone there, to a man, is kind, considerate, helpful and honest. If they say they will do something, they will. The quality of the work that they do is superb. I'm on my fourth car with them, and for all of these years they have kept me on the road and in good repair. Small repair or large, whether through an insurance company or strictly on my own, Gordie and the staff have guided me, helping me find parts on my own when necessary to keep the costs down when I was having to pay out of my own pocket. My husband and I are both professional musicians, and money has always been tight for us, but thin or fat, Susi has always treated us as valued customers. As a business, they set the bar very, very high. Too bad they can't bottle what they do and market it -- very few businesses can match what they do. I cannot recommend Susi highly enough. The last time before going to Susi's it took 3 weeks to get my car back and the owner of the shop I went to was such a horrible person and just so rude. I was very nervous bringing it to Susi's because of my traumatic experience from the last time. BUT at Susi's. Every single person that I interacted with at the shop was so amazing. Great experience from start to finish. Came here for some out of pocket work and these guys really helped me out. I dinged up the passenger side door and fender on my Malibu this winter and just figured I'd wait the bad weather out. Susi's quoted me about the same price as the two other places I had estimates done. They originally told me Monday - Friday for the repairs and ended up calling me Wednesday around 3. This really helped me because I had been getting dropped off to work by the girlfriend. Finished two days early and the work looked great. Mike had told me that he would also try his best to buff a few miscellaneous scratches for me and totally delivered, even cleaned up my headlight that was scuffed from the same accident. They really seemed to have it down, when I went to pick the vehicle up I noticed they fix the Boston police cars and the city trucks. I hope to keep the Malibu out of shops and on the road but will definitely use Susi auto again if needed. read more

First off, i am not their competitor. I went to this place because i got hit by someone and Geico was paying for my car. All i want to let you all is that every bad review on this yelp about this business is true. My car was return with a broken side mirror (all they could do was telling me they were not responsible for it and make me look like type of person coming back for stuff that i have done and blame on them). They wont clean up your car before returning the car. My car was so dirty. Their hand prints and dirt from their work were all over my car. I thought my car would be beautiful at the return day but not. I still have pictures of my car right after receiving the car to prove this review is true. Their business is terrible. These guys are Great! I took a Scion Tc with some damage to my door and rear bumper. The paint came out awesome!! And now my car looks brand new again.
