He came out quickly to take a look and gave me a quote at an amazing price considering all the gear I'd have to buy to even begin to think about doing it myself and never mind the time involved. He made sure I understood that he doesn't haul the yard waste away, but will bag it up for pickup with your regular service. We agreed to have him come out the day before my yard pickup so nothing would sit rotting for long. He arrived in the morning and worked hard until the heavy rain forced him to call it a day, but he was back the next morning to finish up and even re-bag the ones that got wet the previous day so the garbage pickup takes them. My husband and I are actually amazed at how much space the yard has now that it doesn't look like a jungle, and that Magaiver did this all himself. While they weren't punctual, they were affordable, staff was pleasant, and they were efficient once they arrived. We then hired Nathaniel and crew to do some yard work. Punctuality continued to be an issue. In fact, they wouldn't even come on the day they stated, and they were difficult to get a hold of. Still, we found Nathaniel pleasant to work with and the job was completed according to our agreement. Unfortunately, we can't recommend them or use them again because we have a contract with them, and they never finished about $900 of the work. They kept saying they'd come. The admin person kept saying her emails were stuck in her outbox, so we didn't receive communication about delays. Nathaniel stopped responding to texts. We even had our lawyer send a letter, and no one responded. We decided not to pursue the issue further. Needless to say, this was an expensive and overwhelmingly negative experience.
