I don't write a review. However, when a service provider (the manager/owner) treats you with disrespect, he would not allow you to talk. The manager was rude and condescending. He was angry and frantic. I paid for a service, to solve a problem, and the business promised it will solve my problem when the service was provided. They even walked to the truck to see what I was explaining before they provided the service. They reassured me whatever they did will resolve the problem of rain leaking into the bed liner. The old rain mark left was visible. His attitude and answers several times were "I will give you a refund" and "I do not have time for this" in a course of 5 minutes of dealing and talking to the owner. He walked away while he was still talking to me. I stood frozen, standing there with amazement. I watched him walk away and wonder what happened that got him upset. When I noticed he started getting angry and frantic, I just stood there and watch this mannerism. Oh! Boy! It is very dishonorable. He quickly offered to refund what I paid him. I told him it is not about the money; I did not even ask for a refund. The money that he is angry and proud of is less than $40. I just wanted him to listen, and have sympathy that he took the customer's money, and wasted the customer's time twice. First, for the installation that he knew will not stop or help water leaking to my truck bed whenever it rained, the truck parked in the driveway, and not even driving the truck. Second, insulting the customer for coming back to his business to explain the problem of the business installing new poor-quality and fake weather strips. If I have a feeling, that he will treat someone like this. I will not waste my time and gas money. He must have been in a bad mood. Maybe he did not appreciate my face, the way I look, my color, and my voice. The owner is so rude and full of himself that he was literally saying I do not care. Buyers beware. Spend your money here and be treated as if the business did you a favor by providing a poor-quality job. You will leave feeling less important, more than defecation. read more

Honestly, At first contact was a bit put off. initial phone call was rushed and indifferent. I'm about to spend thousands on a new plow I have questions... However once that was resolved, Rock stars all the way. Andrew, Mike and sorry for forgetting the name young guy in shop that walked me through operation. They where all professional, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Last year I purchase a Meyer Home plow from Realtrucks.com and although it was very efficient, after initial sale kinda left me hanging. Just the access to service from Cap world is worth it. I called to schedule an install of a Class III hitch and electric pigtail on my 2001 Chevy Silverado on Thursday 13MAY21 in Westborough. The gentleman on the phone asked if I could bring the truck down to have them look at it to ensure the right hitch and pigtail were ordered. I obliged and headed there immediately. They looked over/inspected the truck (which is in like new condition btw) and entered & ordered the hitch and pigtail. They then scheduled me an appointment for the install for Tuesday 18MAY21. They then charged me $300.02 for everything. I paid and went on my way. Totally satisfied with the interaction and service at this point. Tuesday 18MAY21, I receive a phone call from the tech saying they had a cancellation and would I like to come in earlier. (Hell yeah I would lol) Show up, sit in waiting room. Tech works on truck for 1/2 hour then comes in and says "I can't get the ball off your bumper and need it off" I was like "huh" "what do you mean you can't get it off"? He shows me why he needs it off. I ask him "cant you just torch it off with an acetylene torch"? He tells me they don't have one. I'm like...Ummmmm huh? So...I had to take my truck to my mechanic 15 mins down the street and pay him $50.00 for him to "smoke wrench" the ball off. Back to Cap World...Ok, here we go again. The tech goes to work and within half hour he comes into the waiting room...Says "So since your truck has a 3" body lift the two bolts that bolt up through the hitch and into the bumper aren't long enough". Again, I'm like "Huh? Show me." He takes me outside and shows me. He asks me what I intend to tow. I tell him and he says "oh no problem whatsoever, you can get away with leaving these off." I say "look man, I'm not trying to be a (male reproductive organ) here but I paid you guys to do a job and now you're telling me I've got to finish the job myself? That's just plain unsatisfactory. I expect you guys to order/procure the right length bolts and finish the installation." He says "let me get my manager". Manager comes out... says "yeah "I" or "we" didn't realize your truck had a 3" body lift and the bolts that come with the kit are now too short." Okay so when I brought my truck down for you to inspect last week you "didn't realize it had a 3" body lift?" So I say AGAIN.. "look I'm not trying to be a (male reproductive organ) here but first of all, you guys charged me $300.02 to do a job. Your tech couldn't get the ball off the bumper so I had to go down the street and pay my mechanic $50.00 to burn it off, and now you're telling me I've got to find the correct length/size/strength bolts and finish the job myself?" I said "that's just totally unacceptable. I expect you guys to procure the right parts and finish the job." He tells me "We aren't a fab (fabrication) shop." I say "this doesn't have anything to do with fabrication, it has to do with you guys finishing your part of the contract and getting the correct length bolt to finish the job." He just kept talking in circles telling me why they couldn't do it with the kit parts. Well no kidding genius, I can see that. So get the right length bolts & finish the job! Nope. So away I drive with two spare short bolts & washers in my hand and my hitch STILL not bolted properly to my bumper! (bolted correctly to the frame) So.... I'm totally furious and have to finish the job myself. AND out $50.00 more because a trailer hitch installation business doesn't have an acetylene torch. Really?... What In The Actual *##^ !!!!!!!!!!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND this WESTBOROUGH shop to anyone! Manager is a (male reproductive organ) and wasn't willing to do ANYTHING rectify the situation! I mean at the VERY LEAST offer me a $50.00 rebate for me having to pay to burn the ball off the bumper. Customer Service is NOT AVAILABLE HERE. Only interested in money. Well they have lost my business and I will tell everyone I know NOT TO GO THERE. read more

I was looking for a functional upgrade for my 2003 tacoma bed. I had tall cap on there that I didnt need any more I called up and talked to Ron. He was super helpful over the phone, said he could help me offload my current truck cap and get me into a new roll up cover. I had a hitch installed on my 2015 QX60 and also purchased and had installed a Thule Bike Rack. My dealer (Kelly Infiniti) quoted me 6 hours of labor at $129 per hour plus the part. Almost $1000. I stopped by CapWorld, was greeted by a few very friendly people. They quoted me $75 for labor and $199 for the part. They ordered it on a Monday and installed it on Thursday. I went to Cap World in Saugus on Saturday April 8th, 2017 to have a hitch installed on my 2015 Nissan Rogue. I also purchased a Thule 4-bike rack and locking pin from these guys too. Michael Ford was very helpful in answering all my questions via multiple emails that I sent when I was still researching and trying to find the best price. The Nissan dealership was way overpriced. I met Ron who is the owner and also lives in my town (Winchester). Solid customer service, easy scheduling and very affordable parts and labor. I called my dealer Herb Chambers Jeep Danvers 114 and asked for a quote having a hitch installed with the wiring for my new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (you have to have a removable top if you drive a jeep, not a grand cherokee people) anyways.... they quoted me $540.00 for the parts and installation. Where do these dealers get off charing what they charge, in this day and age of the interwebs and reviews shouldn't there be a place to hold these criminals accountable ? Oh yeah google and yelp.... thankfully I took the time to do some research came across Cap World and I am glad I did. They did this entire job for $183.00 that's almost a third, forgive me I went to public schools during the proposition 2 1/2 era..... yeah but anyways, felt real good to give some business to a small business located next to the devil itself, Walmart rte 1 north saugus..... Not like, nowadays where they think that, customer relations does not matter. I cannot remember when the last time I walked into a business that made you comfortable. Buyer beware about purchasing LEER products due to poor quality/ craftsmanship and I highly recommend if you do, buy elsewhere! I ordered my 3rd LEER cap, when it came in defective Andrew did not care about making it right so if you have an issue, you are SCREWED dealing with Andrew at Cap World! Very poor customer service and they truly do not care about your business at all. I was told by Andrew to take my business somewhere else after spending thousands of dollars over the years on LEER caps, even the owner Ron and Scott Clayton were contacted and they never responded. That tells you they don't care about your business and hard earned money! All they care about is getting your money and you're screwed if you have a problem. Not to mention, they have no people skills, it's time to update your staff.
