I went into this AutoZone location to return two items I had purchased just the night before from another AutoZone. I had my receipt, and the products were unused -- I simply didn't need them anymore. One of the items had a broken seal, and instead of listening or trying to understand the situation, the manager immediately accused me of using it. When I calmly explained that I bought the item in that condition, he flat-out lied and said that AutoZone doesn't sell products that way. He continued to gaslight me -- insisting I must have used it, ignoring what I was saying, and doing everything he could to discredit my word. Not once did he try to verify where I bought it from, check inventory, or do any due diligence. Instead, he talked over me to the employee handling the return, as if I wasn't standing there. No acknowledgment, no eye contact, just complete dismissal. To make matters worse, I watched this same staff treat a white male customer right next to me with ease, respect, and efficiency. No interrogation. No accusations. Just a simple return. As a Black woman, I was profiled and disrespected. I was talked down to, gaslit, and made to feel like I was being dishonest over a $20 product. It was racist. It was misogynistic. And it was unacceptable. I even went back inside to check the shelves -- and the same products I returned were stocked in identical condition: unsealed and not filled to the top. So not only was I telling the truth, but the manager knew -- or should have known -- exactly how they're sold. Instead, he chose to double down and treat me like a problem. AutoZone claims to value customer satisfaction, but what happened to me proves otherwise. You don't get to promote yourself as customer-first while allowing staff to treat people of color -- especially women -- like criminals. That's not just bad service. It's discriminatory and abusive. Do better, AutoZone. This is a systemic issue that starts with training, accountability, and a commitment to equity -- not empty slogans. read more

Public restrooms I typically don't ever leave a review anywhere. But as I really needed to use the bathroom and went to trusty ol Autozone. I was refused and they said it's always been that way. As I've worked for two different Autozone's in the past and have seen coworkers actually get in trouble for denying access to a public bathroom. I found it strange that he wouldn't just let me use the restroom. i'm not one for calling up district managers or even managers at the store making a big fuss. so instead, I'd rather just leave a bad review. read more

It was getting late and I was pretty far from my house when my rear blinker went out. The place said they close at 10pm online so I made it by 9:30pm hoping to get a bulb real quick, but they were closed and the workers were just standing around inside which was annoying and very inconvenient. read more

Our car had been acting sluggish, so we brought it in to check the battery. Sure enough, it was almost dead. Nick helped us, and he was amazing. He answered all our questions, found a replacement, removed our old battery and installed the new one! He really went above and beyond. We would have been lost if we had to do it by ourselves. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! Would never ever EVER recommend this place. My elderly grandpa went in earlier today and was discriminated by an employee. My grandpa asked for a Spanish speaker and was rudely responded with "this is America we speak English". We didn't catch the name but awful representation of what customer service is about. (Older man) For Riverside being such a big Hispanic community it was uncalled for racist remarks to be said, especially when speaking multiple languages as an employee makes you more qualified to be hired for that same reason.. for customers who prefer/need it. read more

I went there to get some stuff for my car and I'm not really good with it. As soon as I walked in I said hello and the guy didn't even responded to me while he was looking at his phone, so I asked for the things I needed and usually they go and grab the stuff for your car even more when you don't know anything about it, we'll not this time he just check on the computer and told me the type of part I needed and keep looking at his phone, I even tried to find the part but I couldn't so I leave and went to a different autozone. I was literally across the street from this auto zone when my battery died. Stephan wad able to immediately assist me, provide me the battery and install. His personality is contagious!! He is friendly with a great sense of humor. I had my little guy with me, and he even explained to him exactly what he was doing, and what the components were, etc. Very rarely do you encounter men at an Auto parts store who are actually happy to help, go out of their way to interact with their customers, and appear to truly enjoy their job. I will HIGHLY recommend this Auto Zone, and Stephan to family and friends. I hope his management team sees this review,and is able to let him know he made our day. read more

Went to the store at 930am and they didn't have the part I needed. They said they would order it and it would be there at 6pm. I call at 5oclock and they tell me the part isn't coming in until tomorrow. Seriously???? You couldn't have told me that maybe 8 hours ago!!!! My power steering went out and when I went to auto zone I had explained to Richard that the year make and model of my car usual has this problem when the battery dies which happened about a week ago. Since my car doesn't take power steering fluid, Richard did a diagnostic test and then google some information on my car. He replaced the fuse because he saw that it was cracked on both sides. My wheel was turning pretty easily when I started her up so problem solved! Richards customer service was excellent and fast. I was in and out less then 15 min. I would come back again and ask for Richard because he was pretty helpful and efficient. read more

Just want to thank first Joseph for taking the time to help me figure out what model car I was buying a battery for. went to a different auto zone they sent me there anyway to pick up my battery, come to find out when I get there the artery was ordered at a different store but that's when Matthew jumped right in to get it fixed and got me what I needed while I was still on the phone waiting for the other autozone to fix the problem. Pretty good location, except for the old manager, Ed. Totally watched him hitting on the much younger female staff, what a creeper. Went there recently and was told he doesn't work there anymore, and the new staff handled all my auto-related needs in a reasonable amount of time. Would return for more auto zone type services and/or supplies. read more

Nice place, had to return one of my snow tire chain set, because the numb-skull at AutoZone in Riverside told me that each snow chain box, is only for one(1) tire! Stupid me, at that point, i didn't even question him why would they sell chains for just one tire? So I listened to that guy at AutoZone in Riverside (as I was on my way up to Big Bear), and bought two sets of snow chains. But luckily when I came home - i was able to return one 'un-opened" chain set to the AutoZone here in FV. Thanks guys. Now, I will start my review about the AutoZone in Riverside. :) read more

My headlight burned out on my car. I purchased a reasonably priced headlight from Autozone. Taking out the light on my car is easy enough, but actually getting to that particular side is difficult to get to. The staff is friendly. My nephew's car battery died so I gave him a jump and followed him to this auto zone for a new battery. Nathan (2 day at this location) went above and beyond with his customer service and changed the battery without hesitation. They are so helpful here especially this one guy that works there everytime I go he helps me to the fullest. Always fast and easy when I come in for a part. Today we came in around 10:30am and my sister had to change her car key control the manager on duty when above and beyond help us program the key control to my sister expedition. They're pretty bad here. A couple of the guys that work there are decent but it's usually incredibly slow and takes forever.
