AutoZone has a fairly good selection on hand and the sales clerks are knowledgeable and helpful. It's nice to support local businesses and be able to drive over and pick up what you need. AutoZone also has a great warranty program for car batteries. We've had car batteries over the years that didn't last as long as they were supposed to and they will replace them with no problem. We keep a binder for our cars that also includes the receipts but AZ also has records in their computer. read more

I had a great experience here today. After the freeze this week, my battery would barely hold a charge. I made it to AutoZone, where A manager, Cici, confirmed it needed to be replaced. Both she and another employee stressed to check with dealership where I bought last battery to see if it's under warranty before selling me a new one. I really appreciated their efforts - Cici even called the dealership for me! Turns out it was no longer under warranty, and they sold me a new one at a very good price. One employee on the phone with supply chain of some kind, another dozing around the building, first finally asks me what I need and I ask for the reader to scan my car. He gives it, I scan my car and come back inside. The dozer decides to come and help since a line is forming, plugs the reader in, X's out of the screen that pops up for him to choose my trim and then goes to another screen, says that it didn't work and we come scan it again. We go back inside and he makes the dumb call to do the same thing AGAIN. Then he tells me that my car is really screwed and I have to go to a dealership. So you don't even understand how to use your own software. It legit popped up for him to pick my trim and he X'd out of the screen twice. The saving grace is he appeared to be in his 70's so...good job hiring, Autozone? He tried to plug a damn lightning cable into the reader for a good 15 seconds before he figured out he had the wrong cord. Laughable. read more

I used to go to this Autozone back in high school and college. It's a good store. Well stocked and in a decent location. I've never had any problems here at least not specific to this store. There's always very little time to wait to get helped unlike other stores, even other Autozones. I used to go there so often that I'd just walk right up to the computers and search for my parts myself and just have them go find them on the shelves. I still stop by this store every once in a while on my way to my parent's house or if I'm in the area. I did have this conversation with a high school counter kid once. (I walked in, holding a piece of paper with the part number written on it) Me: "I need this spark plug, AC Delco R45TS" Him: "What's this go on?" Me: "It doesn't matter, I just gave you the part number." Him: "Sir, I need to know what kind of car, so I can search for it." Great location, amazing staff. There's this kid that always asks "is that your WRX?" We both know it is dude, we do this like once a month. "I had one. An 04, burned the engine out racing it. " Yeah, I'll bet you did. And there is this awesome Hispanic older guy who loves to talk about his 56 Bel Air. And I love to hear about it. Super friendly, all of them. The staff is generally knowledgable, and if their not they can honestly say so I read of trying to give me advice that leads to bigger issues. Five stars guys. Visited this location twice and both times I have received good customer service. This most recent time, I needed a new battery replaced for my wife's car. They had the battery in stock for a decent price and one of the staff installed it for free. I was in and out with a new battery in under 30 minutes. Pretty hard to beat that price and time-wise. Note to ownership/management: Store could use some updating and modernization. Wiper and headlight replacement area should have a computerized system, not the paper manual hanging there. Corporate or regional management should address this quickly.With O'Reilly's directly across the street, you could attract some serious business from them with some sprucing up. read more

I ordered an exterior handle on a Toyota. I paid for it and went home. Then I realized that they order an interior handle instead. I call them back and they told me to just bring it in and they can replace it but I won't get the right order until later. They never call me. When I call them back I spoke to Christy (manager) she argue with me that i have not pay for it. Also I must get the receipt. I call today and someone told to go ahead come in without the receipt. When I show up I saw christy. They told me to go home. She was rude and careless and think that she is a manager she can overrule and not listen to customer. I went home and came back with the receipt in hand. Jason then told me that he have to charge me. My head wanted explode. I'm boiling pissed at this moment. Come to find out they wanted to give me in the interior handle again which unpaid. Jason found the box of exterior handle finally. Guess what?!? The system shows that it was pay for. So i didn't need to bring in my receipt in the first place. That Christy need to be fire. She place the wrong order in the first place. 4th time to make it right. My hubby's battery left him stranded twice so we realized it was time to suck it up and spend the $120 and get him a new battery. We walked in and the guy at the computer asked us what we needed and helped us get what we needed. Then we went outside to put it in and it didn't work because a wire that was connected was really old and fell apart. The same guy that sold us the battery came out and helped my husband and they were able to get the wire put back together and it started. Went in and bought a battery today. I asked them to install it and they agreed. The bolt was rusty on the connector cable though, and broke when the guy tightened it down.
