My AC stopped blowing cold air so I went to Autozone to see if they would help me and I had such a great experience! I wish I got his name, but he checked the Freon level for me and filled it up after I paid for the product. He even explained how to check and do it myself for next time. I appreciate his kindness and it legitimately felt like he saved my life on this hot Texas day. read more

AutoZone in Richardson has outstanding customer service! I went in to get some touch up paint and adhesive to attach an emblem. William Beasley helped me find the right products. Upon checking out I mentioned that I had 2 vehicles that needed new batteries, but I could not get them jump started. William B. looked up the batteries to make sure they were in stock, which they were. He then asked his Manager if he PERSONALLY could come to my vehicles nearby and INSTALL the new batteries! Wow!!! What a HUGE HELP William was to offer that type of amazing service!! My vehicles were close to the store, so he would not be gone long. William B. promptly arrived and replaced the 2 batteries that I bought at AutoZone. I highly recommend this store for their KNOWLEDGE and wonderful friendly ABOVE and BEYOND neighborly CUSTOMER service!! Thank you William Beasley! read more

AutoZone has a fairly good selection on hand and the sales clerks are knowledgeable and helpful. It's nice to support local businesses and be able to drive over and pick up what you need. AutoZone also has a great warranty program for car batteries. We've had car batteries over the years that didn't last as long as they were supposed to and they will replace them with no problem. We keep a binder for our cars that also includes the receipts but AZ also has records in their computer. read more

Mohammed is always so knowledgeable, kind and patient. He always goes above and beyond incredible customer service. We had to go to 3 different places to find blinker lights for our daughter's car and he's the only one to take the time to find them. read more

Christian to the rescue again. I had my wiper blade fly off and could not get it reattach. 1 minute with Christian and problem solved. He has helped me out in the past and I really appreciate his help. read more

Stay away from this store. Employees lazy as hell. Wanted to have them help me put in a cabin air filter in a RAV 4. They said they did not do that. BS. I've had AZ do it before plus a lot of other things like replace battery and head light bulbs. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

For someone who does not know a lot about cars, Autozone was extremely helpful, understanding, and supportive. Mohammad made sure I was well equipped with next steps for taking my car in to be serviced. He provided estimates, gave me the run down on local mechanics, and shared his personal experience with a local mechanic. Truly cannot recommend this place enough - excellent customer service. read more

I had a great experience here today. After the freeze this week, my battery would barely hold a charge. I made it to AutoZone, where A manager, Cici, confirmed it needed to be replaced. Both she and another employee stressed to check with dealership where I bought last battery to see if it's under warranty before selling me a new one. I really appreciated their efforts - Cici even called the dealership for me! Turns out it was no longer under warranty, and they sold me a new one at a very good price. A few minutes later I was on my way! Thanks so much for making this a pleasant experience. Best service I've ever had at this location. read more

Amazing customer-first service. No nonsense, no scams. I bought a battery and when I installed it and brought in my old one, the worker offered to check for a warranty. I already knew it was invalid but the offer to check for one despite me having already paid was very thoughtful. read more

One employee on the phone with supply chain of some kind, another dozing around the building, first finally asks me what I need and I ask for the reader to scan my car. He gives it, I scan my car and come back inside. The dozer decides to come and help since a line is forming, plugs the reader in, X's out of the screen that pops up for him to choose my trim and then goes to another screen, says that it didn't work and we come scan it again. We go back inside and he makes the dumb call to do the same thing AGAIN. Then he tells me that my car is really screwed and I have to go to a dealership. So you don't even understand how to use your own software. It legit popped up for him to pick my trim and he X'd out of the screen twice. The saving grace is he appeared to be in his 70's so...good job hiring, Autozone? He tried to plug a damn lightning cable into the reader for a good 15 seconds before he figured out he had the wrong cord. Laughable. read more

Went have my battery change and soon as I do my light bulb (where the battery is located) no longer works. I went back to see if they could help change the light bulb and the Asian guy working there was like "it seems like it's a mechanical issue... it might be your starter... ". I used to go to this Autozone back in high school and college. It's a good store. Well stocked and in a decent location. I've never had any problems here at least not specific to this store. There's always very little time to wait to get helped unlike other stores, even other Autozones. I used to go there so often that I'd just walk right up to the computers and search for my parts myself and just have them go find them on the shelves. I still stop by this store every once in a while on my way to my parent's house or if I'm in the area. I did have this conversation with a high school counter kid once. (I walked in, holding a piece of paper with the part number written on it) Me: "I need this spark plug, AC Delco R45TS" Him: "What's this go on?" Me: "It doesn't matter, I just gave you the part number." Him: "Sir, I need to know what kind of car, so I can search for it." Me: "It's an 89 Firebird Trans Am, but it doesn't matter, I gave you the part you're going to search. I did the work for you." (Him, looking at me like I'm stupid.) read more

Great location, amazing staff. There's this kid that always asks "is that your WRX?" We both know it is dude, we do this like once a month. "I had one. An 04, burned the engine out racing it. " Yeah, I'll bet you did. And there is this awesome Hispanic older guy who loves to talk about his 56 Bel Air. And I love to hear about it. Super friendly, all of them. The staff is generally knowledgable, and if their not they can honestly say so I read of trying to give me advice that leads to bigger issues. Five stars guys. I'm moving away, I'll miss you. read more

Visited this location twice and both times I have received good customer service. This most recent time, I needed a new battery replaced for my wife's car. They had the battery in stock for a decent price and one of the staff installed it for free. I was in and out with a new battery in under 30 minutes. Pretty hard to beat that price and time-wise. Note to ownership/management: Store could use some updating and modernization. Wiper and headlight replacement area should have a computerized system, not the paper manual hanging there. Corporate or regional management should address this quickly. With O'Reilly's directly across the street, you could attract some serious business from them with some sprucing up. read more

This review is for John H specifically. I know absolutely nothing about cars, and when I needed assistance with a new battery, he made sure i knew my options and could make an informed choice. He also went through the whole process of installing it for me. Amazing service. read more

Today I was that girl...walked into AutoZone with my owners manual in hand. An AutoZone rep quickly asked how he could help and was able to pull up the replacement bulb size I needed before I ever found it in the manual! So quick and helpful! Hopefully the actual bulb replacement will go just as smooth. I know I could have found the bulbs cheaper online so price was the only downside...you pay for convenience in a pinch! read more

I ordered an exterior handle on a Toyota. I paid for it and went home. Then I realized that they order an interior handle instead. I call them back and they told me to just bring it in and they can replace it but I won't get the right order until later. They never call me. When I call them back I spoke to Christy (manager) she argue with me that i have not pay for it. Also I must get the receipt. I call today and someone told to go ahead come in without the receipt. When I show up I saw christy. They told me to go home. She was rude and careless and think that she is a manager she can overrule and not listen to customer. I went home and came back with the receipt in hand. Jason then told me that he have to charge me. My head wanted explode. I'm boiling pissed at this moment. Come to find out they wanted to give me in the interior handle again which unpaid. Jason found the box of exterior handle finally. Guess what?!? The system shows that it was pay for. So i didn't need to bring in my receipt in the first place. That Christy need to be fire. She place the wrong order in the first place. 4th time to make it right. Jason told me to calm down and that it wasn't is fault. Wtf... then he find out that they were wrong he keep on apologize to me. I wish someone that is higher than Christy get to see this review. read more

Friendly service but small compared to the one on Lavon. They didn't have the wiper that I needed in stock but the staff was very helpful and even gave me directions to another Auto Zone that carried the correct item. Best thing about Auto Zone is that they even come out to look at your car for you if you have a question. read more

My hubby's battery left him stranded twice so we realized it was time to suck it up and spend the $120 and get him a new battery. We walked in and the guy at the computer asked us what we needed and helped us get what we needed. Then we went outside to put it in and it didn't work because a wire that was connected was really old and fell apart. The same guy that sold us the battery came out and helped my husband and they were able to get the wire put back together and it started. For now on I will forever go to them when we have an issue or need to buy something for our cars. read more

Went in and bought a battery today. I asked them to install it and they agreed. The bolt was rusty on the connector cable though, and broke when the guy tightened it down. They ended up having to replace some parts to rebuild the connection. No extra charge, no hassle, and they were very nice about it! They are serious about treating their customers right. Thanks Arturo and your assistant! read more

Disappointed. It is the first Autozone, where they don't help me. The guy who talked to me said they couldn't help to everything I asked, and that I needed to go to a shop. I went to the one on Carrollton, and they figured it out for me. I'm not coming back to Richardson location. read more
