Spent close to $500 At this location.. saw an item that was $10 off and when I tried to purchase it was full price. I showed them the sign advertising the deal and the cashier said "oh yeah this deal expired 8 days ago" if that's the case why is the sign still up? And how is that my mistake? That's false advertisement. I ended up leaving the item because the cashier said he asked his manager if he would honor the deal and he said the manager told him no. Don't know if he even asked.. read more

I came in here to get my battery life checked the gentleman that helped me was Allen he came out and notified me that my battery was bad battery Grateful I came I appreciated his customer service and his demeanor he was honesty and funny much appreciated read more

Great auto zone customer here for over 20 years. Had an item to return never used that literally expired yesterday. I had misplaced the receipt and I finally found it today only to be told I can't return it with attitude and not even get store credit. I understand if it was used but it was brand new. Upset I still left purchasing more items that I actually needed. Thought I would ask the autozone by my house if they could help. The manager is a legend he said he understood how fast time goes with classic cars and seeing how it wasn't used he gave me the credit. People need to learn how to pick their battles with their power trips. Great job to the manager at the Sherman way and Reseda store. read more

If I could give this location less than 1 star, I would! My 19-year-old son went here and purchased an alternator. They said they didn't have a tester to ensure that the alternator worked, so he could purchase it and take it elsewhere to test it. The clerk at AutoZone who sold it to him then asked if he could just take it out of the store with his old box. He told her, "Sure." He didn't realize they were setting him up to scam him! My son took his newly purchased alternator to a store a couple miles away to get it tested; it failed the test, so he returned to AutoZone for a replacement or refund. They told him he couldn't get a refund because it was under warranty. He had only been gone for less than half an hour getting it tested. They told him he had to go to the next nearest AutoZone where the alternator was in stock, in Downtown Los Angeles. He called that location and they don't have a tester; so he went back inside and told them he didn't want to go all the way there. He just wanted a refund. Then they told him they couldn't give him a refund because he had already installed the alternator. He hadn't even left Northridge! He had driven all the way from our home in Camarillo to Northridge to buy this alternator. How in the world could he have gone back home to Camarillo to install the bad alternator, and then back out to Northridge to return it within an hour?! And why would he even try to after taking it to the tester place a couple miles away?! Obviously my son got angry and cussed them out. They wouldn't give him the alternator box that they kept. And then they asked him to leave because he used profanity out of frustration and anger. These people are scam artists and we will be taking legal action against these crooks if they don't right this wrong! read more

Walked in today for windshield wipers & was helped out by David .G, he offered to put them on for me and had outstanding customer service. Very hardworking kid & has the right skills to succeed . He deserves a raise & I won't be surprised if he ends up with a top position @ this autozone. ( like a manager) read more

My battery just died on me exactly 2 months after my warranty expired. the AAA assistant technician showed me 5 batteries in his trunk, all purchased from auto zone and all died between one and three months after the warranty expired. I spoke with Elda the rude and unhelpful manager of this God Forsaken store in Northridge, and was told that I was not eligible for any kind of battery replacement nor any discounts. I've been going to Auto Zone for my car parts since I was 22 years old. Is it a coincidence that all batteries purchased from Auto Zone die 2 months after the warranty expires. There's no coincidences, and don't expect them to give you the time of day either. read more

Placed an order for pick up. Received email it was ready for pick up. When I arrived, they didn't have the products I ordered, let alone have them ready for pick up. Waited around for the refund, went home, and ordered on Amazon. Saved a bunch of money. read more

Great customer service and helpful to the max! Thank you Francisco the manager for helping us with our battery replacement. With these newer cars it is not as easy but he did it with a breeze and at 9pm! Thanks! read more

This location has to be the worst I've ever been to. I always order online for pickup. I never receive the email confirmation letting me know my items are ready for pickup. I have to call the location every time. When they answer they always say there was a "glitch" in their system. When I go to the section where it says online order pickup I get ignored by employees when I do get someone's attention they make me get in the long line of customers buying or looking for parts. Why offer online pickup when you still have to wait. The whole reason people order online is to get in and out without waiting in a long line. I will drive to another AutoZone just to get better customer service. read more

Manager at this store named Ilda is RUDE and unhelpful. Their employees look like they haven't slept for weeks and lack ambition to simply ring people out. Their tone and customer service is by far one of the worst I've seen. Unfortunately this is a common representation for all AutoZone locations. Trashy company along with it's employees. Avoid them at all costs. read more

BE AWARE! ALWAYS check your receipts if don't want to pay for something you're not buying. Came back to this store to return seat cover that didn't fit. On my return receipt I found something interesting. I was refunded for seat cover, but also was charged for oil that was never on the original receipt. Stuff said "maybe there was a glitch". But at the same time I see this oil carefully hidden behind the counter... read more

Never been to an AutoZone where they don't help you install your windshield wipers. Chivalry is dead I guess

The rain just started, which is not a good way to find out you need new windshield wiper blades. David, at AutoZone, to the rescue! Seriously, to the rescue. No, really, seriously. I pulled in and with my cane, ambled the short distance from the parking spot to the front of the store, where David immediately asked me if I needed help. I told him my desperate blade need and that I would need help putting the new windshield wiper blades on my car....in the rain. He very nicely said, "I gotcha." While I stood at the front of the store, he quickly looked up my needed blades, got them from somewhere deep in the store, rang me up and walked me outside to put them on. In maybe 5 minutes time. It took maybe another 5 minutes for him to put the new blades on the car, and then I was off. With my limited mobility, I was so thankful he never made me try to walk around the store to find the blades myself, he just went and got them for me. His customer service was so right on, you'll never want to lose him to a competitor. Good job David. read more

When a customer needs help to use a fix finder machine the employee should help customer out and not be lazy to just have them figure out themselves especially when a car place recommend them. I appreciate the extended hours at this location, but, items I need the most are always out of stock at this specific location (replacement bulbs, air filters, spark plugs, gas treatments, etc). I end up going to their Reseda and/or North Hills locations. The employees are friendly and helpful and always offer to call the other stores for a stock check. TLDR; Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, Extended Hours Cons: Limited Stock here but fully stocked at other stores read more

The autozone in Northridge is terrible! I see that there's a lot of managers but none of them see to do anything but stand around and talk. People wait in line for the longest and get overwhelmed. It's a hugest store in the area but they never seem to have the part that you need for your car! Don't go to this store. Go to O'Rileys instead or anywhere read more

went In line for 1 hour and was sold the wrong part by a younger kid. I went back and was told to wait in a separate line for 30 More minutes while 3 people in front of me were also sold the wrong part. The employees just aimlessly walk around while the line was almost out the door. In the middle of helping people at the register, they decide to do other tasks that have nothing to do with who they're originally helping. I would recommend ANYWHERE else but here. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME read more

Flat out the most incompetent people here. Not only did they give the wrong car battery and said it will work. I was acknowledge as I entered this location and greeted right away and was asked if I needed any help.Nice gesture on their part. Very important to acknowledge your customers in any business.Make them fill welcome.Good Job. I like coming to this location. One because of the large selection of Auto Accessories for your car.Such as cleaning supplies, waxes and must of all your car wash products. Most locations will check and change your windshield wipers for free and check your battery for free. This is great, and let you use their tools at no cost to you. For the most part this store was clean and most of all very organized during my visit.Keep up the good work and most of all the great customer service. 2015 Yelp Challenge.082/100 read more

This is a very good location for autozone that recently moved from down the street but this location is much bigger and they have much larger inventory of products I also recommend you joined our autozone rewards because after spending $20 each time or greater on the 5th time they will give you a $20 reward and you can redeem for any product in the store most recently I purchased a car battery here and I got a duralast gold with a 3 year warranty they weren't able to install it for me because I came late at night and they were short staffed however they allowed me to use their tools which made the whole entire job much easier and this was after they allowed me to use the testing gear to make sure that it was in fact my battery and not my alternator I recommend autozone because they allow you to loan tools borrow tools and they have pretty good customer service Best part is they're open till midnight and they are the only autozone that's open this late in the area read more

My car had three small problems i was putting off ; windshield wipers, the small light in the trunk and my headlights. I have zero info on cars but i youtube'd some info and all these seemed like things i could solve myself. I came into the store and had a young guy help me find the lights and wipers. Long story short I wasnt able to install one of the wipers on my own so I came back and they were helpful on making the exchange and the other man working made sure to find the right sizes for the wipers and installed the headlights himself. Overall i had a good helpful experience and cannot thank the workers enough read more

I live next door in the apartment buildings. There's an employee who revs their engine of their motorcycle almost every night and drives off at the late hours of 10-11PM. I've called to complain twice and nothing. I get the same old 'oh I'm sorry I understand.' And no change. If anything the guy is ticked off and revs the engine even more. I can't even begin to explain how loud the engine is.. Trash pick up is 6-7am on Tuesdays. I don't wake up at 6am? These are not business hours? Leaf blowers start 7am. I am so frustrated. I'm working to contact waste management. I think this review is also a good start. I like where I live. I don't want to move because of noise issues. read more

Terrible customer service. Was just there in the online order pickup line and no one decided to assist the line. When I asked the woman at the register next to it she asked me to get back in the regular line claiming they only had one line after making me wait in one line for 10mins. If there had been no one in line I would've been okay with it but they wanted me to get in line behind customers who came in after me. When there's 8 people in line and you only have 2 employees on registers and 4 in the back doing whatever they're doing, as a manager you should prioritize the people in line and put whatever's going on in back on hold...management needs to step it up. The line was super long. And one of the guys was a customer for the entire 30 minutes I was there. The other guy was answering questions from someone about a lightbulb, who had just walked in. Instead of taking care of the people in line he took ten minutes with bulb Dude. This place is way understaffed and everyone is super slow. My 2nd trip to this store and 2nd time I have been disappointed. The clerks here are not willing to help find product. I asked where something was and the clerk just said "against the wall".
