I've purchased tires here a couple times. Obviously when you come here it's an expense you would rather not have. I've called first to make an appointment to make the process quicker and easier. They have a decent sized waiting room so you can comfortably sit while you wait. Service time was as expected. I didn't see any vending machines or snacks though which would be a good touch since you are never in and out of auto repair shops. read more

Dropped my car off to do an oil change service and tire, rotation, balance, etc. Took 2 1/2 hrs to complete. I decided to mark my tires to see if they did what they were supposed to do and they did not rotate my tires This was service was 8/2024 I did not post because they took care of it after I called them out on the job so now there's today 10/2025 Dropped my car off because I had a nail in the tire, asked the gentleman if they could please rotate the tires since they were doing a patch job . It took 2 1/2 hours to do the job. When I saw the car, asked him if they rotated the tires and he said "yes" got the car looked at my marks and no they did not do as specified. I got pretty excited today because it was the second time that this happened. Did not get a receipt, yet since I called him out on it, he said it was his mistake and apologized, which doesn't make it any better because I take off work to take care of my vehicles cause it takes several hours with these jokers. I bought the extended warranty plan when I purchased my tires. I'm not feeling too confident about the workmanship of this place. I recently went to have my brakes serviced. I've never had the brake pads replaced on my vehicle before so I wasn't sure how in depth the needed repairs would be. I was able to go in to Pep Boys for a same day appointment on a Saturday afternoon. Natalie was my service advisor and she was amazing! So friendly and helpful! It turned out I only needed the front brake pads replaced and resurfacing the rotors. I used a $50 off coupon I found on their website so it was around $234 total! We went for wheels alignment and tire rotation today. Back in March, we replaced the tires at this location and bought a life warranty on the tire rotation at that time. All I can say it was the worst customer service experience I had at this Pep Boys location. First, our appointment was reserved online, and we were first in line at 8:00am. The store opened at 8:10am when the lady from the front desk arrived and she arrived in a very bad mood. She displayed a lack of customer service skills right from the beginning by making sarcastic comments about our appointment reservation which got my blood boiling. The way she interrogated and cut us off when we tried to explain what she was asking in the first place made me feel like I was in front of the school principal and the last time that happened to me was 40 years ago. She also tried to argue with us about the charge for tire rotation. Since we already purchased the plan when we installed the tires, all she had to do is to pull up that receipt in her computer which would indicate that the tire rotation service would be free for me at this time, but when my husband pointed it out, she told him she doesn't know (I suspect she did not want to) how to do it. We had to bring the paperwork with us when we were picking up the car to prove that the rotation service should be free for our car. I read the comments on Google before posting mine and I saw that everybody was praising Natalie. My suspicion is that all praising comments are made by family members because the Natalie we experienced was irritated, not professional and with negative attitude up to the roof. I would not be surprised it this location will go out of business; they already have a sign that they are hiring on the door. Natalya definitely made my horrible morning better by having great conversations, especially about our dogs, past and present. The service requested I got here was amazing. It definitely was empty around 9ish 10am. I only paid 109 for the difference, which is better than 400 since (both rt tires) had an air bubble, flat tire. The Asian mechanic was super quick on getting thise tires fixed and ready for me to go on my way, expect to be there for an hr or so because of paper work and such. After waiting patiently for an hour and a half, I went back and noticed that my car was still in the same position in the lot. I politely asked for an update on the status of my vehicle, and the gentleman informed me that it would be my turn in approximately 30 minutes. I expressed my concern regarding the inconvenience caused by the extended wait time, as I had specifically scheduled an appointment to avoid such delays. I kindly suggested that it would be beneficial for the establishment to improve its appointment management system to ensure better time management and customer satisfaction. I am going to start driving for Lyft but dreaded the idea of going through another long, overly complicated process of a rideshare vehicle inspection. However, I called the Reseda location, and lo and behold, someone actually answered and didn't put me on hold for 10 min. The person said, "Come on in, no appointment needed." I received immediate attention from Natalie, one of the Pep boy employees, Natalie took my application and only took 3 min to come out to inspect my car. During the entire time, she was concise with her instructions yet kind while doing so! It was a painless and efficient process thanks to Natalie! I was very skeptical of going to Pep Boys after reading the reviews. I had not been to a Pep Boys in years and the reviews did not help. However, I must say that I am glad that I went. I went on a Sunday for brake service. There was only one person there when I arrived. The techs took my vehicle back very quickly and begin to work on it promptly. Jimmy the new manager is the best!!! He was honest and upfront! He did not try to up sale me on anything that wasn't needed and helped me to get the best price which was awesome! I must say that from beginning to end I had no complaints. Everything went smooth and Jimmy helping me with any current promotions avail was icing on the cake. My only recommendation is that some TLC needs to be put into the waiting area. It could definitely use some remodeling, new chairs, paint etc. Thanks Jimmy for making lemonade out of lemons!! Well for sure screw these guys. I went in there because I had a small nail in my tire... not on the side but on the track part of my tire which easily can be patched I thought. But they said that it's at a certain angle where they had to replace it with a whole brand-new tire ....they're wanting to charge me $200 for one tire. Then I went to another tire place and they said that I just needed a patch and I paid 20 bucks out of my pocket so I saved $180. They lied to my face and I don't like LIARS!!!
