Terrible customer service they can't simply answer the phone. I live 30 minutes away and they are the only autozone that potentially has the parts I need. I want to make sure they have them before driving an hour. I need them tonight so can't order them in. I've called 10 times only got answered twice each time I immediately got put on hold and was on hold for over 10 minutes. Oscar should not work in customer service. Came to return a faulty Freon hose and Freon can which the hose busted and he refused to do the return because the Freon can was used even though none of the Freon made it into the car because of the faultly Freon hose. When asked if that was policy to not accept the Freon return he said he was the right to refuse a return for any reason and said he just doesn't want to do it. The manager on duty gave us a brand new can of Freon so atleast we aren't at a loss for the Freon hose malfunction that we bought from them but Oscar is horrible and should really learn how to work in customer service. Never going to make it out of Perris with that attitude. read more

If can be given no stars I would! Very upset with the service went in there for breaks On a Saturday they didn't have them placed an order for them. Told they would arrive (next day)Sunday walk in there both the cashiers don't know where to even look for my order was told they where short staff people called off and that my order didn't arrive yet told to come back at a later time. I would never recommend this location to anyone. A clerk lost my boyfriend's car battery and acted casual about the whole thing. My boyfriend went back the next day, another clerk found his battery immediately. If you don't like or want your job to the point where you don't want to do even the smallest task. Maybe it's time to find another job. That type of customer service or lack there of can cause a lot of unnecessary problems for your business. The manager should start hiring new people and cutting the trouble makers shifts. Either the trouble makers will get it together or they will look for another job. Hard, sad truth. read more

So i go into autozone tonight to go pick up my battery, everything was good. The employees were seeing customers, its late so i understand that the manager might being trying to move things along to get out on time. the place closes at 11pm. it was like 8:40 when i walked in. The manager tells the only employee that was at the service counter to stop what he was doing. leave the customers, regardless of the fact that he was already in the middle of helping a customer, drop everything and go take out the trash. The tone this manager took was so offensive that i was extremly bothered by it. The employee that was attending the customer, politely says "ok. just let me finish up with this customer that i am with". The manager immediatly started talking down to him and just flat out treating him like shit. Pretty much making jokes like he would fire him for not immediatly jumping to his command when he was in the middle of attending a customer. I would never in my life let someone belittle me like that. This manager clearly has a power trip. Thinking he is more important than he is. I will never go here again. I can't put up with people like this. Then when the manager goes off to take a personal call with his friends about what they were going to do for the holiday weekend, when there was a super long line and no one was helping at the register or the service counter. Then the super nice employee, comes back to get bitched! at by the rude manager who sent him off in the first place. Terrible manager, the other employees there seemed to be nice. I called this store and the phone rang at least 15 times then someone answered and put me on hold for about 5 min. then when they did answer i gave them year, make, and model and engine size, then I asked the guy if he had a radiator bypass hose that went from the water outlet to the thermostat outlet and the other side of the water outlet went to the top of radiator and he said a heater hose and i said no a radiator bypass hose and he said they are all heater hoses and I said OK, then he said what did I want again and I said i just told you and he hung up on me, I couldn't believe it, that kinda pissed me off so I decided to take a trip down to the store and check it out, I stood in line waited for my turn and listened when the guys were talking and I noticed the voice and it was the store manager, wow I couldn't believe it "THE STORE MANAGER" so I said I was the one you hung up about the hose and his reply was we can start over again or I could leave the store, wow " LEAVE THE STORE ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!!!! I said OK and I left and went to Orileys across the street with much better service, more pleasant atmosphere and friendly people behind the counter.
