When every auto parts store couldn't even look up the parts I needed, AutoAid came to the rescue by sourcing them and having them in my hands in less than 24hrs. They scanned by invoice, clicked "warranty return" on the computer, and they brought the replacement battery to me. However, trying to return the part wasn't as smooth. It was in its original packaging, unopened, unused. I also had the original receipt. I go and tell the team member that I wanted to return a part and they take a look at my receipt for 2 seconds and very dry said "It's been 3 months bro". I then asked if they couldn't return it and they said "No. You can try another store" which I found odd because I've returned unopened, unused, items before ranging from a couple of minutes to 4, 5 months without an issue. I ended up going to another O'Reilly store and they happily returned my item. I'm giving this 3 stars because I've been to this location before and it's a solid store. The store is very clean on the outside and inside, they shelves are fully stocked, and other team members are nice and helpful.

I ask, politely, "Do you guys take used oil for recycling?"--you know, because I'm basically an eco-hero. The lady at the counter? Oh, she's having none of it. She hits me with the ol' ignore-and-dismiss combo. No eye contact, no acknowledgment that I exist. I might as well have been a ghost haunting the customer service desk. Finally, without so much as a glance in my direction, she says, "No, but AutoZone does." Oh, cool. Thanks for the helpful info, Madame Sunshine. But hey, AutoZone--get ready, because this oil-toting environmentalist is taking his business, and his very impressive five dollars, to you! You'll recognize me--I'll be the guy with the disappointed look, still wondering what customer service feels like. In conclusion: If you're looking to recycle your hopes and dreams... keep driving!
