Took my battery in for a charge had to keep over night . When I picked up they told me the battery was no good and I needed. A whole new battery. I then took my battery to another battery place M&M and they said OReilly is good for telling people the battery is no good. He said all I needed was a full charge and I was ready to go. I went to this AutoZone needing assistance with either jumper cables or battery charger the only one who even tried to help was Danielle it was not crowded or busy when she tried to get questions answered by her manager he would just walk away and say I don't know she even tried to YouTube and answer for me. So I figured it out myself and still went in to make a purchase and the same manager was at the resister and I let him know that Danielle was the only one who help and even you said I don't know and walked away. His answer to me was ok and I told him I was going yelp about my experience and he said ok. I noticed that several employees went outside to help people with their issues but I was ignored and must I say the staff and customers were all Latino and I was the only African American in the store. I dropped off a battery on Tuesday, 11/7, to get charged at 5:30 PM. Was told it should be ready in 2-3 hours. I go back at 9 just to be told that the battery was never put to charge and that I should just come back tomorrow. I go back tomorrow at around 3:30 PM. The employee that assists me can't find the battery. He asked his store manager for help and she tries to give me somebody else's battery instead when the name on the ticket for that battery is clearly not my battery. She tells me to come back the next day as the employee I gave the battery to isn't here at the moment. I call before I go the next day and still nothing, but the employee tells me if they can't find it by tomorrow then I'll get a new battery. I talk to them again and no battery found, but now they want to give me a used battery. The manager tried telling me that the employee I gave it to said my battery. I had just talked to him the previous morning and he had no idea of what was going on. I was given the district managers number and am going to bring the situation up to him. read more

Was given a Counterfeit $20 bill in a return transaction! Be cautious when receiving cash back from this location! I got ripped $20 after returning some tools i rented from them. The transaction was very suspicious seeing how the original transaction to rent the tools was made thru debit. The refund should have been refunded as a debit transaction since that was the original method. I called to notify the store Manager and got the run around basically saying there's now way they could now it came from them. How ever the matter of fact that cash shouldn't have been handled since it was a debit transaction made it very suspicious! Either the cashier slipped the bill in or was negligent in there duty to check all cash for counterfeits so when change is being made there's no risk to the customer! All they needed to do is view the cameras! Cashier not checking bills or making change for himself then u Autozone are at fault! Negligent with customers money! Who carries a counterfeit marker with them? Riverside police was notified of the incident! The officer's told me that store has a criminal background, many incident reports made, shady management very unprofessional! Gotta move forward with corporate now! It's only $20 but it's principal as a cashier u check all bills for counterfeits & check your register after leaving it unattended or under another employee's use. That a negative star review! He only charged me for the bulbs, even though it took him lots of effort to get the previous bulb out since it was fused to the socket. Worst autozone ever. Tonight I witnessed a man come in to purchase one over the counter item, and get ignored completely by the manager. I guess he was standing in the wrong line, but he was waiting in the line where the manager was working, (the only one there), and instead of letting him know since he was only purchasing a regular item, so he could be helped at another desk, two other people walked up and he helped them instead. Supposedly the guy was the manager, but he didn't care AT ALL about his customer service. Customer ended up being very angry and walking out without even purchasing the item, where he had been waiting for 20 minutes. Every time I go to this place it is a complete joke. She took the time to research the various batteries and I have to choose from and explain to me what my best choices were. I bought here the oil and filter to do a oil change on my 2011 dodge ram and after I got home I checked with my brother ( a mechanic) and he advised me that the oil was not the manufacturer recommended oil. That happens after I already changed the oil. I went back and explained the situation to manager and he did not even ask and gave me new filter and oil. I was not happy that staff sold me oil that was wrong and that staff did not have enough knowledge to sell me the right oil, but I was very pleased that manager stood up for the mistake and gave me brand new oil and filter for free. I had to go back and get new oil and had to do oil change over again but at least they fixed the problem so I recommend this placr. They are also very slow sometimes and don't know a hole lot when ask them questions but you can't know everything when you carry that many parts.
