Beck is the best ever. I took my car(s) there for over fifteen years. I went through two Nissans, and finally bought a Toyota 4Runner. I almost didn't buy it because I knew Beck only works on Nissan. I talked him into working on my Toyota. Whew. He is honest. I would sometimes say I needed things he would say, no you don't need that. One time I needed a new transmission, and he let me pay him over time! I'm writing this review now because I miss him. I moved to Seattle an am now looking through Yelp for another mechanic. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because, as another reviewer mentioned, Beck has all but retired. His nephew is running the place, and while I still trust him, he just not the genius Beck is. But I had him work on my car a couple of times and still was totally satisfied. He's still got the same great mechanics working there. He charges more for for brake pads than some other places because he uses better pads. They last a lot longer. He'll put the cheap ones on if you insist. read more

I've had my Infinity G35 Coupe (2004) serviced at Auto Tech by Beck twice and I have two positive experiences to speak of! On both occasions, where I've had multiple issue with my vehicle, they've presented me with options and suggested fixing the most critical issues first as opposed to attempting to "cram everything down my throat" at once. I appreciate their approach because most mechanics tend to "find" additional problems in an attempt to make a few extra bucks. They're both diligent and thorough about bringing issues to my attention--as they should be--but never have they tried to "get over." To date, I've been 100% satisfied with their work and I wont hesitate to bring my car in for a servicing a 3rd time if necessary. read more

Ok. This review is waaaaaayyy overdue. Although they specialize in Nissans, they have been working on my family's Hondas for years. They are reliable, accommodating and more importantly...honest. Wasu is the best and has always taken good care of my 70 year old mother when she would bring in her 2003 Honda Accord. Thanks to Wasu and his crew, her car clocked in over 330,000 miles before she moved on to a 2013 Accord. Now I have no doubt this Honda will be taken care of just as well. read more

My last issue was such an quick/easy fix, they didn't even charge me for service or materials. There aren't too many mechanics like that around. Wasu is awesome! Came here for a complete brake kit upgrade (pads, rotors, and stainless steel lines), and not only did he do them for a great price, but very swiftly as well. If I could give them 6 stars, I would. Seriously, you dont find shops like this around anymore. Honest, on time, and reasonably priced. You can tell the owner has a true passion for cars just by talking to him. My wife and I took our Infiniti EX35 to Auto Tech By Beck for some routine service and he had it back to us in less then 3 hours. I took it back to them because we had a persistent brake pulsation in the car. The dealer told me the front rotors were warped. So I took the car to Auto Tech By Beck with a set of rotors and pads to change out. I get the car back and it has the same issue. So the dealer gave us a bum diagnosis and I had changed the front pads and rotors for no reason. This is where they impressed me even further than I imagined. I took the car back to Auto Tech by Beck and told them even with the new pads and rotors in the front. The car has the same brake pulsation. They gave the car a once over and found the issue and fixed it once and for all. They didnt charge extra for doing this as it was a minor issue but one that had been persistent no matter how many times the dealer had looked at the car. The issue hasnt come back, and Im confident it wont. You dont find places with this kind of honesty and attention to detail anymore.. They have earned my business for life. Thank you guys!!!!!! But was happy to give me the name of "a guy" that would pass my car for $450.00 cash. Great family owned auto repair shop. I have an Infiniti now but also brought my previous car (Nissan Maxima) here for years. The service is excellent, the repairs have always been accurately diagnosed and repaired right the first time, and their prices have always been very reasonable. I can remember several instances where I was not charged for very minor repairs or adjustments. They have gone above and beyond on several occasions and have more than met my expectations. This used to be a good place to take your car when Beck was running it. I believe he has since retired and his nephew has taken over the business. I had been bringing my car there since the mid 90's. So I go for an oil change and was told I needed a new engine mount and rear brakes. Each job was going to cost about $300 something making the total about ( let's say) $650. I'm not sure how much it would cost to replace the engine mount so I'm not going to comment on that. But I checked on the rear brakes. Called the dealer and the total cost for the brake pads ( just parts) was about $70 for a 2006 Altima. Which means they wanted to charge me more than $200 for labor.. I have a feeling they are hurting for business because honest Beck is no longer there and people have gone away.. Anyone have any suggestions for a mechanic? read more

i have an 07 Inifiniti G35, and this is the only place I'll have my car serviced at. Make sure you set something up, otherwise you might have to come back because they usually have a couple of projects going on. hes good on his word and respects your time. Then they took care of my New Toyota until I sold it to a friend, who STILL takes it there. The father who ran it is retired now, but his son runs the same kind of ethical honest business... Took our Altima to these guys at the suggestion of the BMW/Mini guys at DTM Auto Salon just down the street. The car needed new front brake pads and the rotors to be grinded. I stopped in to ask about it ... they had me come by the next morning and the car was done by 1pm the same day. I was in and out for $250, and that included having the oil changed. Perhaps GI's complete lack of knowledge about cars is what got his car in trouble to begin with. I say kudos to Beck for his honesty. I don't know much about cars myself, but I have been a loyal customer of Beck's for at least 16 years. He and his staff are always incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
