There goes a saying, "Don't trust Lawyers or mechanics" People with specialized knowledge have the general public at their whim when that knowledge is needed. Well I have a lawyer in the family and now I have a mechanic I know I trust. Dave is who I see every time. He's knowledgeable, quick and respectful. Had an issue that cost me 250$ to diagnose and then brought it to Dave who gave me the exact same diagnosis free of charge. I don't think they need the work but man I have to give something back. Great guys who you can trust on a street teeming with auto shops. Just a good solid little shop who get the job done quickly and right. read more

Kyles Automotive is an honest place that do great work. I brought my car here and just by listening the mechanic knew what to do. Didn't cost that much either. I've had several cars here and recommend them highly. read more

Dave and the Kyles have been providing car repair service for our cars, truck and RV for probably 20 years. We never had any issues and they have always been very accommodating even dropping us home if we did not have a ride. They are honest and thorough and accurate with their work and we never worry about either the quality or timeliness of their work. They have excellent communication with what they are doing and costs. Rare find in these modern times. read more

For years, I've only trusted my car to the family at Kyle's. They've always been kind, helpful, and just all-around good guys.

I needed help recently and pulled into Kyle's as I was nearby. One of the luckiest days ever. I've been back twice, two different issues, and couldn't be more impressed than I am. Not only was the work I needed done efficiently and quickly, but I have seldom dealt with a nicer organization. David, the individual I've dealt with has gone way out of his way to make sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with the condition of the car - he even drove to my house to save me the trouble of finding transportation. I am thrilled, and have found a mechanic for life. Really a terrific experience. Thank you so much. read more

I stopped by late on a Friday afternoon asking if they could help me with my check engine light on a 2006 Nissan Murano. They whipped out their error code machine, pulled the error code, and even started calling shops to gimmi an estimate right then and there. Most of the time, I expect a shop to just take my keys and tell me they'll call me someday later. I was impressed by Kyle Auto's professionalism and friendly assistance helping me so close to end of the day. Most shops would bawk at me near closin time. Quote was super reasonable so I went ahead and had them fix me up. Love this place for friendly service and reasonable prices. read more

We've been coming hear for more than 12 years, we love Kyle's Auto! John, Joe and the team are experts, straight shooters, and fantastic mechanics - they're also caring, dedicated, and go above and beyond every time we come to them for help. They know they're stuff inside and out and can source anything quickly and price-appropriately. My fullest and more unequivocal recommendation!! read more

I took my car in today for a check on the AC. They took care of me. I left the car there and they called in my about an hour to tell me that they had charged the system and there was no apparent leaks. And that they are giving me the special that is coming out next week. That was great news. They saved me some $$$. Always honest and fair. Will use and recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic. read more

I'm from out of town and was having a check engine light issue. I wanted to get it fixed in town since I was afraid of driving the car long distance. After calling a few other auto shops, Kyle's automotive was the first one to respond to me pleasantly! I was able to take my car in, have it looked at, and fixed! They did a great job, were very reassuring, and honestly just great people. I highly recommend them! read more

I first took my car in when shopping around for a good price on fixing an oil leak that required a timing belt replacement. They worked out pricing with me and got it fixed no problem, I've since gone back for a check engine light, and an oil change which all were done quickly and at a great price compared to other auto shops. They even gave me a ride home (in my car) on jobs that take longer since I live close. This place isn't terribly formal and is a bit old fashion but I find that very endearing and makes it easier to trust them. Plus they keep me informed if there's an issue and they let me know things about the overall state of my car. I've had nothing but a great experience here and would recommend them to anyone. Even if I move out of the area I will likely continue to come here. read more

My late brother-in-law Bernie Maloney turned me on to these guys. They are as good as it gets. In customer service, satisfaction and getting the job done and making sure it is done right. I have been coming to them since 2007, 1st with a Mercedes (what a mess), then a PT Cruiser and now an Accord. John, Joe and Dave have always gone the extra 2 miles. Thank you Gentlemen. I do appreciate it ;-) Candy H. read more

I recently came in here to do necessary maintenance before driving across the country. My CV axle was torn and this was one of the things they were doing. A month later, I am across the country with two new axles, both turn and making metallic sounds constantly. Here are the reasons why I am not counting this off as a faulty part and instead leaning closer to shoddy workmanship. 1) When I came in, my request was for them to look at the car and recommend necessary fixes and maintenance I need to make it ready for a long trip. I specifically asked them to check the fluids (based on my limited knowledge of automobiles). When I came to pick the car back up, I reconfirmed that all this had been done t which I got the answer 'yes, all fluids look good and have been topped off'. 100 miles later, I was lucky to notice my engine temp going up slightly from the coolant being incredibly low. (no, not a leak. Just that they did not check it to ensure it was where it should be) Granted, I did not look at it myself, and I should, but I specifically asked about it twice. And I did not see any reason to imagine that I should nanny everything they did, to see if they did things like expected. Terrible. 2) Right after the CV replacement, the car was making the occasional metallic noise. I took it back in and he said something about a metal piece that was touching that was bent back or so and apologized. Well, turns out 3000 miles later that it was a terrible CV job after all. 3) When I brought the car back in to check it out, the guy showed me all the grease that had leaked before the replacement still on the chassis. I mean really, it is just cosmetic, but I know that if I take pride in my work I would have taken the extra minute to wipe away the old grease that was on the underside of the part before putting a new part in. So essentially, I gave these guys 500$ in cash to do work, which I need to have re-done again professionally. I understand that I am covered under warranty and I can get them to fix it if I drive back (that is not happening for a couple of months), but I cant somehow seem to give them the benefit of the doubt that it was an unfortunate faulty part because of the above 3 reasons. My unfortunate poor choice in wanting to support a local business as opposed to a nationally syndicated chain. I will be following up with these comments on BBB as well. read more

Have been coming in here to Kyle brothers for years. Recommended by my ex wife..lol..anyhow, my daughter has some issues with her car and they gave a very fair quote and then I brought my old infiniti here and they did some work in it that was about 65% less than what the infiniti dealership wanted to charge read more

A customer since the Mobil days back in 2004, I expected a better solution to their error than complete disregard. My car was dropped off with my supplied parts for a basic clutch job. They destroyed the disc with misalignment. I travel the US for work, so I took the car back to deal with it later. I left with a broken car, damaged part, and negative $500 after rental car, trailer, and parts replacement costs. I asked for the money for the destroyed parts and was refused. Only a later discount on labor was ever offered. However, this is unacceptable customer service since I had to purchase the parts twice. A business that makes an error should make the situation right. Not simply offer a deal on the second go-round. Customer service=make it right. This is very wrong. Now, I have to get back to town to file a suit for my replacement since it was easier to fix the car elsewhere and sell it.Now I'll add all the expenses it took to return to where I began before I brought the car in. Unbelievable. And I did show the damaged part to two top level pro mechanics to confirm the misalignment. I have the evidence and I can clearly see what happened. This is an attempt to brush off their error and their responsibility. We'll let the judge see the facts. This was a huge, huge hassle, and cost me $500+ to get my car broken. That's what I got at Kyle's Automotive. read more

Been coming to these guys for a few years now, lured in by their coupons. Keep coming back due to their great customer service and honesty. They keep you in the loop and let you know if the fix is smaller or larger, and how to get by with a smaller (read cheaper) solution. read more

My parents and grandmother have been doing business with John Kyle for years, first when he owned Kyle Bros. Mobil and now at Kyle's Auto. They always offer to come & pick up or deliver my grandmother's car to fix it without her having to drive it to them. They are very reasonably priced. They do very good Quality work. The best thing is they never try to sell you something you don't need. A couple of years ago my dad ran over something on the freeway and theiy were able to fix almost all the damage it caused to his car. I also know that they will work with people who are on a fixed income to get their vehicles fixed and then they will let them make payments to pay the bill off. I am happy that they are still in business in Pasadena to help my parents and grandmother out, seeing that I live in TN now. read more
