If I could give this dealership a negative 10 stars, I would. DO NOT PURCHASE a car from here without having it checked by another body shop. When I purchased my car from here the only negative I would've said was that they played the, I got another guy coming from out of town to take a look at it. But that's par for the course. I'd noticed little things like trim pieces missing and or broken but okay, no biggie. Then it was me realizing that the clear coat was basically non existent on a car that was less than 5 years old... I caught a flat recently and had my tires changed by a mobile service. He noted that my other rear tire was also in bad shape and in danger of popping too. I had it replaced as well and he told me to get an alignment because of the way the tires were wearing, he could tell there was an alignment issue. Which brings me to today. I can't get an alignment because apparently there was a car accident previously (did not show up in my carfax). The passenger side quarter panel took a significant hit and the subframe is cracked. If you know anything about cars, this means that I'm basically paying for and driving a vehicle that should have been TOTALED!!! This is completely unacceptable and I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

BUYER BEWARE. I've purchased several cars and accompanied friends in buying, but Autoplex stands out as the worst experience I've ever had. The dealership is highly disorganized and incompetent. The salesman I worked with, Khris, was particularly untrustworthy and should be avoided. I drove 3 hours to see a 2017 Lexus RX350 because of a great deal. Before the appointment, I paid $220 for a pre-purchase inspection at a Lexus dealer, which revealed a major $6,000 oil leak. Khris promised the problem would be fixed before purchase. After negotiating, Autoplex added a $3,000 "Autoplex Care" charge (for unverified paint protection) and a $1,000 doc fee. Despite my excellent credit, Autoplex pulled my credit twice and I was denied financing, supposedly due to the car's high mileage--a fact they never disclosed upfront. They suggested I finance elsewhere, which I did successfully through my credit union at a much better rate. At the dealership, sales manager Lionel agreed to start repairs and gave me a buyer's order holding the car at the agreed price until the following Friday (9/19), pending receipt of payment. I secured financing by 9/16 and requested an updated buyer's order with my lender's info and a copy of the title, needed by 9/18 for the lender to send payment on time. Khris repeatedly ignored or delayed these requests. After multiple attempts, I had to ask another salesman, Nate (who was helpful), to send the buyer's order. Still, Khris failed to send the title as promised. On 9/18, I confronted Khris directly, asking if he even wanted my business. He assured me he did and promised to send the title by 11am that day, or the deal would be off. It's now 9/24, and I've heard nothing from Khris or anyone at Autoplex. The car remains listed online. My credit union rep advised me to buy elsewhere due to the delays and lack of transparency. Regarding repairs, Khris never confirmed if they started. On 9/18, I contacted the service center myself and learned they hadn't begun repairs. They said no work starts without a deposit, which neither Khris nor Lionel mentioned. Lionel had written that repairs would start immediately and that I could pick up the car after fixing. It appears Autoplex used stalling tactics to avoid making repairs, hoping I'd give up, allowing them to sell the car "as is" to another buyer. Other red flags: Khris initially agreed to deliver the car, but later used delivery as a negotiation ploy, refusing to honor Autoplex's advertised free delivery within 150 miles (which includes my location). He never followed up with a delivery quote. Overall, Autoplex's dishonesty, poor communication, and failure to honor promises made this the worst car-buying experience I've ever had. Despite multiple calls and messages, no manager has contacted me. Avoid this dealership. read more

I spent 7 hours there. Test drove two cars. I settled on 1. We ran the numbers. The numbers were good. At the very end I picked up on a detail on the paperwork. They were running the numbers on the wrong car. It could have been not good for me if I had signed the paperwork. I would have paid way too much for the vehicle I didn't want . Long story short; they wasted my time, didn't have the truck I scheduled an appointment for on the lot, tried to upsell me, and weren't willing to work with me at all. I'd stay far away.... My experience started by reaching out after finding their 2019 Ranger XLT they had on auto trader. I made an appointment for 9:30 AM on Saturday, and spent all of Friday afternoon on the phone and texting various members of their team, clarifying I was interested in buying just the truck, and that I was 3+ hours away so I didn't want to waste my time if they couldn't make me a good deal. I talked primarily to manager Mark over the phone, and he assured me they could make a good deal, and confirmed they could match my CarMax offer for my trade in. After having to leave my house before 6 AM and driving 200 miles to the dealership, I arrived in time for my 9:30 am appointment. They were texting me throughout the morning confirming my appointment, and letting me know they were ready for me. When I got there, I met with my sales associate Joha, who was quite nice, but said they were looking for the keys for the truck. I sat for a little while, and then was greeted by Johny (a manager maybe?) who told me they didn't have the truck there, but that I could test drive their 2020 Ranger Lariat in the meantime. This was already frustrating, as I had scheduled an appointment in advance, been assured they were ready, yet I show up and the truck I wanted (Ranger XLT) was not there. After test driving the Lariat, (the fancier trim, which had more miles, and was 3k more expensive, and I had zero interest in) I got back and they told me the XLT I wanted was with a technician, and that they'd have it back soon. They had me stop by CarMax to get a copy of my in person offer, and told me I could see the XLT when I was back. Upon returning, it was still not there. After even more sitting and waiting I went to confront the sales team about what was going on, and they told me they hadn't been able to get a hold of their tech. At this point, I met Lionel. He told me they couldn't do anything about the XLT, but they'd give me the Lariat (that I had no interest in) for a good price (still way over what I was willing to spend), I told them I would buy it if they could price match the XLT, which I had come down here to see and had a scheduled appointment for. Lionel said they couldn't do that, and then started treating me like I was dumb for not wanting the up-trim Lariat. After them relentlessly trying to upsell me, they finally took no for an answer. At this point, I had been there for several hours, and the truck I came to see wasn't even on the way yet, so I left. They called me 40 minutes into my drive home saying they had the truck there and were willing to work out a deal. I told them I'd turn around if I could buy it for the KBB value (16.5) and they said "No, have a good drive home." So I guess they weren't willing to work out a deal anyway...... I wish I had looked at more of the 1 star reviews that show how the dealership is really willing to treat its customers, before wasting my time. Hollywood was my salesperson and she was absolutely wonderful. Super helpful in trying to get me the best deal, and gave me great tips on what to look for when buying a car. She made me feel comfortable and I didn't feel pushed to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. She explained everything thoroughly and didn't mind going over it again if I didn't fully understand. The company offers many amenities that are included in your bill of sale. The only reason it's a 4 star experience is because I got such a low trade in offer and was offered 3x more some place else. I would give zero stars if it were an option. My husband and I experienced an utterly unacceptable level of incompetence and disregard for customer time at the Duluth show room today. After being passed between three different salespeople and subjected to two separate driver's license scans--all for a car we could easily pay cash for--we were denied a simple test drive. To compound the issue, the vehicle in question was advertised with incorrect mileage and pricing. This isn't just a minor inconvenience; it's a fundamental breach of trust and a blatant display of disrespect for potential buyers. If you value your time and expect transparency, I strongly advise you to avoid this dealership. Their practices are not only inefficient but also indicative of a larger problem with their integrity. I do not know if it was sexism, racism or bad business skills, save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. It was completely ridiculous. This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever had. The most unethical General Manager i have worked with. I spent 4 hours waiting to get into the finance person to complete my trade. Never happened. At closing I was told to take the car i was planning to purchase and return to complete the documents. Bad enough since I live over 2 hours away from the dealership. Went back to be parked another 2 hours. Then to find out the work they were to do that day to complete my trade would not be completed and they wanted me to return another day. On top of that I found out the dealership planned to change the numbers on the sale when I got into the finance person. All of this in hoping that all of the delays would encourage me to just get it over with and sign whatever. So with all of that I cancelled the deal. Now I was left with taking my original vehicle over two hours with no plate of registration documents. So again, hoping I would now feel trapped and would take what ever deal to just end this. Thank the Lord I made it home with no plate a=with out getting stopped. Do not trust this dealership. They are very unethical and will try to trap you into a purchase. read more

ABSOLUTE CROOKS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. BUYER BEWARE. I wouldn't purchase a $1.14 hot wheel car from these jokers. Autoplex's overall dishonesty, shady activities, lack of communication AND the failure to honor their word are just a few of the reasons I would never return. Salesmen are more concerned with selling big ticket autos than various cars and trucks on the lot. To find any help it was a chore. We had to pursue them versus the "norm." I have purchased over 30+ vehicles in my lifetime and THIS was by far, the worst car-buying experience I've ever had. After leaving a $2500+ DEPOSIT, they still sold this vehicle out from under me. (Friday) Liability Insurance was obtained, added accessories purchased for the vehicle and Autoplex never even called to let us know. NO COMMUNICATION. Showed up with bank check in hand for the balance only to be informed that my "reserved" vehicle had since been sold over the weekend. Salesman was extremely non-chalant and seemed to be unbothered by this shady business. Despite multiple calls and messages, no manager has ever reached out. review for Autoplex auto dealership I've never had a worse experience in dealing for a car. They added $10,000 worth of extra charges to the cost of the truck. $4995 for a interior/exterior protection that was supposedly already added to the vehicle, $999 for a customer service package and $4195 for taxes that should have come to $2900. When I challenged the price, they cancelled our hold & deposit b and stopped communicating with us and said they were working with several other buyers for the same vehicle. Umm, isn't that the point of paying a deposit to hold the vehicle for us??? Another issue was the truck had a carfax report of minor damage but they couldn't tell us what it was, only that it must have been minor cosmetics and already fixed. These people are slimy! Go somewhere else so you don't get suckered into a bad deal. read more

Stay away! I was working with a salesman there on a Porsche CAyman. I paid for a pre sale independant exam of the car by a local Porsche repair shop (I paid $400.00 for it). It came back with over $7,000 in justifyable maintance and repairs that were needed. After them not contacting me for a day subsquent to them picking up the car at the independant shop, I called and the salesman said that they would have to wait for their general manager to be in before we could talk. Next thing it I get a text from salesman that "car was sold to a racer who fixes them to race, I apologize for the late reply" They never even gave me the courtesy of bidding on the car. Sounds fishy to me. Likewise, the repair shop said that there were only 4 lug nuts on each wheel as it someone had driled the locking lug nut off and never replaced them (who would offer anapprox $4o,ooo car for sale with only four lug nuts. read more

If I could give this place -100 stars , I would! My car buying process was smooth but everything after that went downhill. I purchased a vehicle from here in May 2024. After a day of driving it, I began having trouble with my car constantly telling me to add oil. I had to drive to autoplex every week for them to add more oil or adjust the sensor. After about 2 months of weekly visits and multiple attempts of asking them to stop doing temporary fixes for a bigger issue, they finally agreed that it was a sensor issue and the sensor should be changed. Once the sensor was changed it does not work at all. It tells me that I am at the max with oil. So to my surprise yesterday I had a leak in my car with NO oil but my car still read full oil, no oil light came on, NOTHING! I called autoplex and spoke with Lionel about the situation , who was the only one wanting to rectify the situation. He instructed me to bring the car to have it looked at. When I arrived he was in a meeting so I spoke directly with the service manager Raza who explained to me that he does not work for free and he will not work on my car unless autoplex pays him for it. After about an hour the accountant Veronique/Nikkie B, came to me to let me know she would not authorize them to fix my car because a new sensor was already put into my vehicle her exact words were "If you leave autoplex and your car breaks in half the next day, that's not our problem." When asked to speak to the manager Lionel, she told me that autoplex was her store and she runs it. She then instructed the service manager to return my key to me and told me to leave. She told me "not to forget that she had my first and last name." I took that 100% as a threat to my safety. When Lionel returned from the meeting he understood my frustration and wanted to get the problem resolved. Veronique had no reason to insert herself into this matter because there was no new authorization or finances needed. The problem I have was already authorized and payed for, it just was not completed properly by Raza who works hard to NOT fix cars to ensure his monthly bonuses are larger. The less he spends on parts, THE MORE HE GETS COMPENSATED. Instead of letting the manager handle the situation, she escalated it and called the police because " autoplex will not be touching my car." Lionel 100% tried to help with the situation, and is trying to work on getting it fixed. Before leaving I spoke with Raza again who said "I do not do work if they don't pay me, I don't work for free." All and all even it makes me nervous to even get serviced here any further with the fear of Veronique or Raza doing something to my vehicle to cause further harm. RUN AWAY from this place. They will do the bare minimum as far as service and the accountant is on a power trip. I am VERY unsatisfied. I will go to the Audi dealership from now on because this place CAN NOT be trusted with any car, not even the ones you have purchased from them directly! read more

They promise a price and then the battle starts. Beware for extra charges to fight. The negative reviews are legit. Purchased the vehicle in December and still have not received my plates as of March 26th. Started calling about them in February and only received full voicemails and no response from emails. Save yourself the heartache and go elsewhere. Told the finance manager the dealership seemed incompetent to not be able to complete the tag process and she started name calling me. How am I incompetent for demading plates before 90 days is beyond me. The only incompetent thing I did was to purchase a vehicle from this dealership. read more

I have never experienced this before. Stay away from this place! I agreed on a price on 12/23/2024 after watching one particular car for a little over a month. First, they raised a price $600 compared to what I was quoted before telling me there's some kind of $4,000 fee But they were doing me a "favor" by cutting that fee in half. That fee was supposed to be $1,400 And then turned into $2,000. Then, the next day $200 more was added for tax and tag. I finally asked for an invoice so I could have something in writing. I agreed to all these extra fees because the price for that car was still decent. Because it was so close to the Christmas, I told my sales guy that it was going to take me a few extra days to transfer all the money because of banks being closed. They were fine with it bit asked for $1,000 deposit which I had no problem with. Today, on 12/30, I received a call from my sales guy telling me that my car was sold to someone else. How in the world does this work??? You took my deposit and sold the car someone else??? This is the most unprofessional place I have ever dealt with. Stay away would be my advice. read more

One of the slimiest places I've been to maybe ever. I expect car dealers to be gross but this takes it to a whole new level. I had an appt at noon. When i got there at 12:10 the rep told me to come inside. He was on crutches. Then One of their qualifying questions is "do you plan on taking a car home?" I said probably not. He asked a coworker to get the car for me bc he was on crutches. They bicker back and forth before she agrees. So imagine sitting there while these two argue about who can and will get the car after i had an appt and was a few mins late. She agrees to show me around in the car. She was cool. I get back the dude in the crutches was working with someone else. Passes me off to some other guy. Fine. This guy asks me all the same questions name address email car etc. then he gets me a quote. ON THE WRONG CAR. Ok fine. They come back w $7k on top of the car guru price and ole boy tells me that's just the way it is. I walk out. The manager comes to get me. It's already too late. These guys are slime at best. All of them. Don't let them get you on the extra $7k in fees on top of car gurus etc. read more
