Take your business elsewhere. My back windshield got smashed in back in 2022, Automotive Concepts was one of the contracted options with my insurance to replace the windshield. Somehow they transcribed my VIN incorrectly and arrived with the wrong window. In 2024 they started calling and sending letters, which I frankly thought was an attempted scam because who would still have an outstanding bill from two years earlier? It apparently was not a scam so I directed them to insurance, I also confirmed with insurance what my deductible should have been at the time of the replacement; it should have been $250 instead of the $500 I was charged. I have left several voicemails requesting a refund of the $250 due to me with no response. This is a shady company which is very poorly ran. Only use them if you want to be overcharged, then years later hassled about the amount they overcharged you. Kiana- call me, you owe me $250. read more

This place is really kind of unbelievable. Stopped in late in the day on a Saturday, knowing full well no one was going to see me. My goal was simply to have someone call me back...they were referred to me by my dealership...I have to rethink my relationship with them as well, but that's another story. Anyway, receptionist takes my name and number, explains that the person who covers the kind of work I need done is out sick, but they will get back to me next week. Of course the next week comes..no call... and by Thursday I decide to call them. Same young lady answers the phone, and honestly seemed a bit snippy that I was calling, that the person was still out sick, that she was working alone, etc, etc. Two weeks (!) still no call l, so I call them again. This time I get a guy, who could not have been nicer. He could not find anything under my name in their system on me (how could he? They haven't done anything with me yet). But he did take all my information, asked me to send some pics of what I wanted taken care of if possible, which I did). The next day he texted for the VIN number and he responded with a text indicating he got it and he would make sure to double check that I had transposed that properly. Please note...their first initiated contact TO me. That was it...Never heard from them again. I (again) called them two weeks later. Probably the same receptionist answered the phone, and once again she can't find anything on me in their system. At this point, all contact, including a visit has been initiated by me (with exception of one text asking g for my VIN). On this call I was placed on hold for about 5 mins, but in this day and age, I have come to expect that. The next thing I know is some guy gets on the phone accusing me of abusing his employee. You'll just have to trust me...I could not have more polite, and quite frankly was taken aback by his tone and inference. I tried to explain that perhaps the young lady had me mixed up with another customer (I was on hold for a length of time after all - could that not be concievable?). He didn't seem too interested, however I was really PO'ed and mostly incredibly offended. Nothing near an apology was coming from his (enormous) mouth. In any event, after reading reviews here and on their own site, it is clear to me that at least some of the positive reviews are created by their own shills...perhaps and probably by the owner him/herself. If that is true (and it most likely is) it is absolutely pathetic. Be sure, I will NEVER go anywhere near that place and will warn anyone I know that might be in the market for their services, to do their homework and look for another company with which to do their business. They seem bit "off." Most importantly (and unfortunately) be careful when reading reviews...it's probably more important to digest the poor reviews than the positive ones....just one guy's opinion. read more

Horrible experience, took in van for headliner replacement and hardwire of backup camera, sat on van for over a week before beginning repair which also took over a week, never hardwired camera but instead tried to sell theirs for $850 (mine cost $40) headliner drooped in front in 2 days, had to return and they had to re-glue front of liner. never saved original welt around sunroof, I requested search for replacement and another 3 weeks went by with no callback then said it would be another $500-$700 for the seal as not "included" in original. Appealed to manager to at least wire camera as suggested and blew me off citing "liability" issues despite my offer of waiver. Wouldn't get my dog fixed here. Service as poor as repair quality. Zero stars would be given if possible and out $1000 read more

Absolutely TERRIBLE customer experience. Glass installers claimed to be knowledgeable about my vehicle, which requires special attention to windshield trim reinstallation. They both failed to replace the trim correctly, and then acted like I was being unreasonable when providing information on proper installation. Never got back to me after promising to do it right, and I had to file a claim with my credit card company to get refunded -- which they successfully rejected and sent me a fraction of the cost it took to fix the problem they created. I now question the service at my local Toyota dealer, who recommended this shop. Zero stars, would never recommend. read more

I was very happy I took the time to ask them for an estimate to replace the windshield on my Honda Accord. They were almost $100 cheaper than the first estimate I got from one of the well-known national glass shops which almost made me wary of their work. I was totally satisfied with the quick scheduling, and completion of the job and after surviving two weeks of monsoon-like weather we had here in Baltimore, I'm quite sure the windshield is never going to leak. I am extremely disappointed with how my business was handled here. I was told that the cost of the water test for the seals on my car would cost $225. After the initial water test, I was told that the cost to repair would be about an additional $600 dollars but they would need to run more test to confirm. I was asked if they could run more tests, which I said yes to. Afterward when I called back about the car, and was told it would cost $2,000 to repair. I explained I could not afford that much and we agreed I would pick up my car. When I went to pick up my car, I was informed that I owed over $800 and that they needed to do an initial round of work to run the 2nd test and told me that I had authorized that to be completed. I explained that I did not understand that to be the case, and that it was my understanding that the cost to fix the car would range from $600 or more and that they would let me know the full cost when I called back in a few days. I feel blindsided and robbed by this business. We no more had an additional $600 to pay for a car that is NOT fixed, than we had to pay another $2,000 to fix it. I asked them to please make sure that their customers understand in the future that there is an initial cost and to confirm that they understand it before moving forward, at which two employees accused me of understanding that I had agreed to $600 worth of work, just to run more tests. I find it shameful that despite the fact that I was obviously in shock and upset, that they would continue to accuse me of understanding that there was an initial cost just to test it some more. Shame on this company. On top of it all they returned my car with 0 gas in it, obviously someone had been driving it because there was about 2 gallons in when I dropped it off. Thankfully I made it to the nearest gas station before it ran out. Don't ever do business here, just shameful. read more

He's put leather in vehicles that had cloth, and he's put cloth in vehicles that had leather or vinyl. His quality of work is simply outstanding. Would not do business ever again. 1 month ago I took my truck in to have the rear glass replaced. This was not glass that could be replaced by a mobile unit. I left the truck with them for the entire day. This was not unexpected. Upon pick up of the vehicle I was told that I had to leave the windows up for 2 days and the yellow masking tape that was applied for 2 days as well. Of course not wishing to have the window blow out I complied. While driving with my family 2 weeks later, and the first rain sine the repair, my son starts to complain that he is getting dripped on. Sure enough there was a significant leak from the window. I called first thing Monday to get the leak fixed. The customer service person did not apologize for the mistake but simply setup an appointment for the "repair." Again leave the truck the whole day and get it back with an assurance that the leak was fixed, no apology. Four days later it rains again, this time on the other side on my daughters head. Daddy I'm getting wet. This time I'm mad considering that they have had the vehicle 2 full days and I'm now looking down the barrel of day 3. Additionally it rains all weekend, of which they are closed, and I have to tarp my truck and NEW window. Monday I call again, the customer service rep again doesn't apologize, they again only schedule the service. This time I'm angry at the lack of interest in my service. I tell the rep to discuss with whomever needs to know that I want a reimbursement for the labor costs, as the labor was not worth the cast that I have had to pay. Again drop of the truck again no apology. Upon picking up the truck the full day later, I ask about my partial refund. Keep in mind this window installation was over $800, FYI Safe Lite is cheaper, they owner is asked in the other room adjacent to the main office. He says no "its covered under warrant, that why we didn't charge him for fixing the window." Unreal total lack of concern for their customers. read more
