Had another stereo sitting around and asked about install. Brian quoted a price. Came out on the day scheduled on time and was done the job in less than an hour (not an easy install). He offered to take care of me and apologized, and I gave him the opportunity to make it right. He asked me what I was looking for in a CarPlay system to update my SUV and I gave him an overview of what I wanted. He sent me an email with details of three different models and the pros and cons of each. I made my choice and he ordered the parts and we set an appointment. The night before the install, he sent me a confirmation email and he was precisely on time the next morning. To my utter surprise, he personally came out to perform the install. He was outside in my driveway for around three hours and installed the CarPlay and Bluetooth and a backup camera. He answered my questions patiently and taught me the whole system when he was finished. He patiently answered my newbie questions and didn't talk down to me. He made sure I knew I could call him with any questions in the future. I am so grateful he followed up with me after my original review, and I am so glad I gave him an opportunity to show me how he and his business could shine. I would definitely recommend this business now, and I would not hesitate to go through them again on any vehicles I will own in the future.

Rating: (1/5) I brought my brand new 2026 Chevy Colorado…read moreZR2 to Audio Connection in Towson to have a complete Vantrue S1 Pro setup professionally installed. The kit included the front and rear cameras, a hardwire harness, a Vantrue 256GB memory card, and a CPL glare filter. I was charged $275 for the labor. While the equipment is physically in the truck, the quality of the installation was completely unprofessional and riddled with basic mistakes. Here is what happened: Poor Placement & Redo: They initially mounted the front camera directly below the rearview mirror, completely blocking the driver's line of sight. When I pointed out that this was unacceptable, they ripped the adhesive mount off the glass and relocated it. Slapping a used adhesive pad back onto the window after pulling it off is lazy and compromises the mount long-term. Incorrect Wiring (Rear Cam Failure): They plugged the power cable and the rear camera cable into the wrong ports (swapping the GPS base and camera body inputs). Because of this amateur mistake, the system couldn't detect the rear camera, meaning it wasn't recording at all. Incorrect Fuse Tapping: The hardwire harness appears to be tapped into an "always-on" constant fuse rather than an ignition-switched source. As a result, the camera does not shut off when the truck is turned off, creating a potential battery drain issue. Leftover Parts & Lazy Finishing: They completely failed to install the Vantrue glare filter, failed to put the memory card into the slot, and didn't even bother to peel the plastic protective film off the camera lens. Paying $275 for a professional installation means the job should be done right the first time. Instead, I received a sloppy, rushed job where I had to correct the wiring layout, fix the settings, finish the assembly, and now have to re-address the hardwire fuse routing myself. If you care about attention to detail and want a dashcam installed correctly, I do not recommend Audio Connection based on this experience. It was an absolute lack of value for the money.

They came highly recommended the first time, and that recommendation absolutely held up. From scheduling with Aaron to getting clear and timely information from Chris to Hector taking the extra time to walk us through the phone app setup, the entire experience was seamless. When I asked them to justify the labor, the salesperson and owner became hostile and asked me to leave the store. A confident shop welcomes questions about its pricing. Aaron and Adam are not to be trusted Edit in response to the owner: My review reflects my own experience: I asked for the labor to be itemized in writing before committing, and the conversation ended there. I'll let it stand and let readers judge for themselves. But look at other low reviews. They all talk about getting ripped off for labor. I've never been asked to leave a store before and rarely have ever reviewed anything Lastly, I was willing to spend $3k yesterday and terrible attitudes mixed with 150% labor costs turned me off. Enough said

I looked for local stereo installers and spoke with 2 business owners who informed me that I would be forced to wait between 2 weeks and a full month for showtime when I called Rich at IBA and he suggested I come in at my leisure and discuss options in his showroom. We found what I thought would be my next radio and he said he could install it less than 2 days time. I realized when we got home that the unit I chose didn't have a CD player option and called Rich asking for help. He immediately checked his inventory for a unit comparable to my age and liking and assured me that he would take care of me. He had my truck in the morning and called at lunch and told me all was well and ready to roll. Despite a bit of sticker shock and me having to program the radio for the subwoofer and subsequent crossover roll off frequency's Rich's demonstration of my new unit was super insightful. Now in my 50s it's not often I stretch the radio out but thanks to Rich at IBA you can hear me coming when I do!!

Everything was clearly explained to me, without a pushy uncomfortable sales pitch. There was a minor glitch, that was immediately taken care of at my convenience, with sincere apologies. I am only mentioning this very small problem to give praise on how well it was handled. Being able to discuss my needs with someone that actually understands the technical/wiring side of car audio is extremely helpful. (Other places have sales people assist you with purchases that know zero about the mechanics of wiring) Aside from being treated well, the price was also very reasonable (less than all other quotes, but would have still went with IBA even if matched or was a little more $ than other places) These guys are honest & don't try to get over just to make a buck. Most of all I LOVE MY NEW SPEAKERS!! Will be back for more, and I recommend them for all of your mobile electric needs.

Will not be going back ever!! I spent well over 3k worth of wheels and tires on my tundra. Not to…read moremention all the other upgrades I purchased from them on my previous vehicle. They broke two of my tire pressure sensors and didn't even told me the sensors were broken. The sensors worked for like 2 days and my tire pressure light was blinking and my sensors would not read. So me being a mechanic, I knew what the issue was (Broken sensor(s) ) So I took it upon my self and fixed it myself. I scanned the sensors, showed they had plenty of battery life left but they broke the sensors so bad that the one sensor was showing the circuit board due to the crack. When I separated the tire bead, I saw that in order for the sensor to somewhat work they double faced tape the sensors to the inside of the rim and put a regular tire valve stem just above it in order for it to read..... So I purchased two new oem sensors from Toyota and had my friend who's a master tech reprogram the new sensors for me. So the response I got from them - " The Nut on the Valve stems on Toyota's and Honda's are know to seize and they are not serviceable, If the sensor stopped reading did he check to see if the sensors battery died? I can test them to see if they are still reading. We do 3-4 sets a wheels a week, We don't brake sensors, i will attach a video of the tool they had to create to fix this common issue that i'm sure your son is aware of, I apologize for the inconvenience but that tape on method would allow them as designed to work as long as the sensors reading. They are not required to be attached to the valve stem to operate correctly". The nut holding the sensor in place was not seized because before I got the new wheels I made sure the nut was not seized in order to get the sensor out easy. But, clearly I should have mounted and balanced the wheels and tires myself to have avoid this headache... Not to mention, had to pay like 170 some dollars out of my pocket to correct this issue... I'm just really mad that they couldn't be straight up with me saying hey we had two tire sensors break on us And this is what we done in order to make them read. I would have been cool with it if they would have been honest with me and instead trying to cover it up like nothing happened.... I get it stuff breaks due to it being plastic but you should always tell the customer what had happened and try to make it right..... I only broke one tire sensor since I have been a mechanic and it was a 9 yr old sensor that was cracked up already. Therefore, I will never shop with them again since I lost my trust with them and their dishonesty! I will tell me friends and anyone else to go shop somewhere else if they are looking for aftermarket wheels, tires, and accessories.
