I'm down several thousands of dollars from this. Brooks Huff even refused to reimburse the $141 oil change charge, then their insurance, Erie Insurance, refused to reimburse the charge as well, so I filed a chargeback with my credit card company. Brooks Huff literally fought the chargeback request and attempted to get it denied so I couldn't get reimbursed. That's the kind of company that Brooks Huff is. Keep that in mind when you trust them to not total your vehicle during routine maintenance.

Linhard's is, without a doubt, the most unprofessional, disorganized, and money-hungry business I have ever dealt with. I got into a minor accident in Cockeysville a month or two ago. The cop on scene called a tow truck for me -- and unfortunately, that tow truck was from Linhard's. I should've insisted on calling my own, because the second they took my car, I had NO idea the absolute f***ing nightmare I was walking into. Once my car was dropped off at their yard, I called to ask what was needed to release it to my insurance. The woman I spoke to told me all they needed was my license and my registration or title. Cool. I had that -- or so I thought. I go down there in person and say I'm there for my car, and I'm immediately met with blank stares like I've got five heads. I give them my license and explain that my title is in the car. When I ask if I can go grab it, they tell me I'm not allowed, IN MY OWN CAR, without either the registration or title and permission from my insurance company. I'm sorry, WHAT?! That was never mentioned on the phone. Not once. So while they sent someone else to dig through my car to find the title, I had to get my insurance on the phone to give them verbal permission -- for me to access MY OWN PROPERTY. That finally gets handled, but guess what? Since I live in PA and my car is financed, I never got a title. (PA doesn't send titles when there's a lien.) The woman at the front desk even says, "Yeah I live in PA too, I don't have mine either." So I ask, "What else can I do? My insurance has already verified that this car is mine." Her response? "You'll have to come back with a registration." Are you f***ing serious? After spending the whole weekend running around and trying to get answers, I manage to get a copy of my title. I come back Monday with my license, the title, and my insurance rep on the phone. The woman at the desk looks me dead in the face and says, "I don't think I can accept this -- this doesn't look like a real title." EXCUSE ME? It's the official title for MY car -- the same one you've refused to let me near, even with insurance confirmation. What more do you need?! After more back and forth, she finally accepts it, and I'm allowed into my own vehicle -- but not without someone standing there watching me the entire time like I'm going to steal my own sh*t. The man "supervising" tells me they've had people try to lie about which car is theirs. Okay, I get that -- in a repo situation. But this wasn't a repo. My insurance confirmed my identity and vehicle ownership MULTIPLE times. This was just flat-out harassment and control. And let's not forget the cherry on top: Linhard's charges $60 A DAY in storage fees. SIXTY. That is beyond outrageous. Most tow yards are around $20/day. This company clearly preys on people in vulnerable situations and makes it as hard and expensive as possible to retrieve your own da*n car. It's disgusting. Linhard's is an absolute scam operation. They don't care about helping you -- they just want to drain your wallet and waste your time. Fu*k Linhard's Towing, and fu*k the rude, dismissive front desk staff who clearly get off on making people's lives harder. Do not use this company. Ever. RUN.

After calling the website, the number listed online, they were very kind and the person I spoke to said they did not know about the York Road location and gave me the option to go to Ellicott city or White marsh. I had been to White marsh before to help a young woman buy a car. Three years prior there was no issue with the location. After arriving and having the customer service representative, tell us that it was all right that it would take us 30 minutes to get to our 3 o'clock appointment . We show up at 3:15. Marty was very nice and did their best to help us, but the last place did not even give us any of the paperwork they had. I had to explain that that was unprofessional, then another gentleman who was not the manager told me what my experience was he sat there in front of my face and told the manager that the person at York Road explained everything to us. Then was hesitant when I immediately confronted them. I asked the man if he was there at the location when the information was explain to me they of course, said they were not there. So I had to ask how is it that I'm sitting here with no paperwork and you're telling me how it was explained. I thought this gentleman whose name of course I did not catch, was holding everything he could back from being very angry, that I was daring, to question him . Angela who is the manager of White marsh sat with me like an adult and explained that they would do their best to rectify all of the issues we have been having. She was polite and did what she could to get me out of the store . Overall I would say I will be bringing the car back to the mechanic that just gave it a clean bill of health and if it is true that it has an engine knock this car with 40,000 miles from 2019 . Then we will repair it sell the vehicle move on. What I think is more likely to happen is that they will find something that is causing the ticking and fix it. I literally just looked it up and they said a ticking noise in this model vehicle could be a loose, spark, plug or low oil pressure. And they think I will fall for that and give them the vehicle for several thousand under the original price on the website for a loose spark plug. It is honestly embarrassing. If you want your car to have fake issues so that they can get the best possible price for themselves go to Carmax they will tell you that you're wrong. They will tell you what conversations happened in what way. This visit ended with the young woman trying to sell the car in tears and broken down embarrassing treatment.
