Unfortunately, the result was extremely disappointing. Beyond contaminants and poor finishing, the biggest issue is that the roof itself was cut into during the install. There are clear, visible cut marks in the carbon fiber--damage that was not there prior. This is completely unacceptable and shows a serious lack of care and professionalism. A carbon fiber roof is one of the most sensitive and expensive panels on the car, and cutting into it during a PPF install should never happen. What made the situation worse was the response. There was no accountability from management or staff, and instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was met with dismissiveness. To make matters even more disappointing, one of the employees went as far as making inappropriate comments about my vehicle--completely unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I've trusted this shop for years, but the quality and customer service have clearly declined. I'm now dealing with damage to a panel that was previously perfect. I hope they take responsibility and make this right, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend them. read more

Very disappointed in the service provided by this business Saturday, April 20, 2024. My husband returned for a tint job and the worst possible thing occurred. The owner of this business when driving another customers car, backed into my husband car with so much force, the car was ruled a "total loss" by our insurance due to the damage being 75% of the cars value ... $17K+ worth of damage!!! Please read this if you are thinking about getting your tints done by this company.. This has to be the worse experience I've had with any company I've been a costumer with. I got my windows tinted on my brand new car last week. The morning after, I noticed a long scratch on my dash and a small scratch on my door. I emailed sunstoppers and they told me that they will be in touch with how to proceed. 4 days proceed to go by with no indication on the next steps so I email them again. The owner then proceeds to tell me to come in on Thursday or Friday but adds in the email that there is no way it could have been them, which already showed me that they were going to go into this with a set mindset. I come on Thursday and the owner took 2 seconds to look at and then came to the conclusion that they didn't do it. The owner then talks very aggressively towards me and says that there is no way they are paying for something they didn't do. When I match his energy on the way I was spoken to, he tells me there's no need to be aggressive, which was hypocritical. The way that this was handled is an indication of how they do business and I strongly urge whoever is reading this to not get their windows tinted by this company. I hate to write a bad review on a small company but they were completely unprofessional in this process and didn't lean towards any resolution of what happened. Now my brand new car has a long scratch on the dash and I don't get a refund or even something that hints towards making sure their costumer leaves happy. I spent 400 dollars for this tint and this was the result. The owner is rude and doesn't take any accountability for what happened to my car. If I could give them 0 stars I absolutely would. Also, I am not the first nor will I be last, as I've read multiple reviews with people having the same exact experience I had the past week. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your tint, you will thank me later! read more

The front desk lady is very nice and friendly. I got great time there. It was a great customer service from her. She even tried to show me the different between the tint shades. She was great. There was 3 guys working on my car that time. The only reason I give 2 stars is the result I got after couple weeks. I have been waiting for the result so that I can write a fair review. I got a ceramic tinted, so I expect the result should be better than what I have. There was a big bubble at the driver car right after they finished tinting my window. Luckily, I was still there and showed them the bubble. The guy quickly try to fix it by using the heat gun and his tool, but it is still not fixed completely. The bubble is still there after 3 weeks and I can even feel it with my hand. Also at the driver window, I notice couple bubbles from not completely cleaning the window. There was hairs and dusts underneath to make bubbles. I can easily see it from outside. I don't think those bubble will disappear at all. read more

Do not waste your time here unless you want mediocre tint. After bringing my vehicle back 3 different times, they were still unable to fix their mistakes. Bubbles throughout and varying sized gaps between the tint and the edge of the windows. They are unable to fix the tint and are refusing to return my money. I reached out to different tint shops and they agreed the job was done poorly. I paid over $400 expecting a somewhat decent tint job and they couldn't even do that. Now I have to pay to remove the tint and get it done properly elsewhere. read more

Had my BMWI3 tinted. Near perfect job. I have read the critical review of uneven tint and I'm not sure how that's possible since the patters are cut by machine. I thought I was anal. Issues: 1) The price was outrageous, and I reluctantly agreed [Banging head on wall]. 2) The young man said he would wash the windows before applying the film. It must have taken him 30 seconds to do that. I'd not recommend this company. read more

The BEST customer service. I requested a quote via Yelp and got a response the next day. Adrienne (who works front of office) was so helpful and explained in detail the process and gave recommendations. My car was finished in about an hour. A few days later I noticed a sizable gap on the base of my rear window that did not get tinted. I took it back and they fixed it on the spot, no questions asked or no hassle given. It still didn't fully remedy the problem so they redid the whole window with no charge. To clarify, the problem was not to due to any poor workmanship, but the way my window sits. They are pretty busy so you may have to wait a week or so because you can get your service. Also, I had no idea windshield tinting is not included in the quote. You have to specify you want your windshield done because a full car tinting service does not include it, and it costs extra. Adrienne gave me a discount on my windshield because of the misunderstanding. Would definitely go back if I had another car to tint, but I got my friend a gift certificate because they did such a great job. read more

I contacted Sun-stoppers via yelp and someone replied to my message within 20 minutes. I inquired about price and availability and they were able to quote a price and schedule me right away. When I arrived Dru greeted me and got started on my truck within minutes. I payed, sat down and to my complete surprise my vehicle was finished in 20 mins. I only got my front two windows tinted because the rest were already tinted with factory tint. Even though it was only two windows that I got tinted, they were very prompt and efficient. I asked and didn't receive a discount. The sun roof alone cost 30% of the entire cost, 80.00. Come ooon, For the sun roof? The owner said no to the discount. So, 25.00 off verses losing 250.00-300.00 a pop is worth it to him. There are other tinting companies in the area and I have eight more children of mine that want their windows tinted. Sun Stoppers were located on a tight right turn off of Bel Air Rd. So if you don't know the area where you going you're probably pass it 2 or 3 times ...when I got there I was greeted and taken care of quickly. I was in and out of in less than 30 minutes. They do offer a military discount and it is a family run business ( 2 pluses in my book). I was happy to support during this difficult time. I've been taking all my cars to Sun-Stoppers for years and always recommended this place to anyone who ever needed tint on their cars, but after this morning I'm never doing business with them again. Walked in there, and some kid who looks like he was in diapers when I got my first car tinted here tried to railroad me for $250 to remove vinyl stripes which I could remove in a couple hours myself and I am as far from an expert at doing this sort of stuff as you can get. Few years ago when I first got the car I stopped by to ask how much it would be to remove the stripes, and I was told $60. Guy that detailed my car said $50, but he was unable to complete the job due to timing of our appointment and the sun going down, but he got some of it off. I asked how much it would cost to tint a car, and the prices are the same as last time. So this $250 is just him trying to railroad me thinking that I don't know what I'm talking about or I'm some chump who walked in off the street. You just lost my business of 20+ years. I know most businesses don't have integrity these days, so ya probably don't care since you got other customers but it matters to me so you lost this one. But back in the day this was a top notch shop. Don't know what happened. When it comes to cars someone quoting a super high price for something you know is not that high of a price, super red flag. I have been looking for a place to get my windows tinted and Sun-Stoppers was the place I was looking for! I have a mustang convertible and with 2 door cars, tinting places tend to give you a harder time on pricing because it's "harder" to put on because of the shapes of the windows and will upcharge you an upwards of $200 more dollars but Sun-Stoppers had fair pricing. Everyone was friendly and as I dropped off my car to get tinted, it only took about 1.5 hours. There was a driving range a bit up the road and by the time I was done hitting some golf balls, they were done! I am very happy with it! Thank you!! Also, at first I thought they didn't do well because it looked like there was bubbles but it was just because the tint hadn't cured yet and stuck to the window fully. (It looked like the indents of a golf ball) After it cures for 2-3 days it was gone. Now, it looks amazing and seamless. read more
