They also cut the blank key inserts, but the keys I provided were not a perfect fit (poor machining I guess). But they took the time to smooth out the imperfections and made them work. Automobile Locksmith provided excellent service and were very accomodating with regards to time scheduling. They re-keyed my Jeep Patriot driver, passenger, trunk, ignition locks and created 2 replacement keys in just a tad over an hour after arriving at my home. The price was exactly as quoted on the phone. They both were very careful to show me any issues before they started working - i.e. loose trim, lock not flush with door handle, etc. This was very much appreciated and I understand their concern about ensuring I didn't think they caused any new issues. I broke the key to my 2017 Toyota Camry. The dealer's quote to make and program a new key was $400+. I am a AAA member. The locksmith through AAA would charge $195. I called Automobile Locksmith. The receptionist asked me about my key. I told her that that the key was still starting the ignition, but it was loose at the top and I had taped it together. She told me that they could use my key to make a new one and the cost would be $95. I was so happy. I took the car to them and the key was fixed in less than an hour. Thank you very much. I called to ask how much it would be to have a Lexus key cut because the housing on mine broke. He told me it'd be $100 for the housing and to have it cut. (Which is outrageous because Lexus only charges $85) I asked how much it would be to just have a key cut if I bring my own housing, he told me $79. I told him it's only $6 more to get a brand new one from the dealership. He was very indifferent and just said "ok..." Needless to say, I did not use him and was able to find someone else who did it for $35. read more

Loved that provided same-day service and showed up in a mask at a time of my choosing (7pm). They provided a new key fob and programmed my vehicle that sat nearly a month as I tried and tried to find my original fob. The programming took only 15 mins and throughout they were very knowledgeable on the differences with key fob versions for my vehicle.. they even noted the amount of time they spent researching they had the correct items before traveling out. Locked out of car on New Years Day. Called early in the morning, waited about an hour and they arrived and unlocked the car in seconds. My husband lost his key fob for his 1998 Camry. He had a key, but it didn't have the chip in it that would shut off the alarm and allow the car to start. The dealership said it would have to be towed in and it would have cost us about $700. Jo & Joe came out, pretty quickly, and fixed his car so that he could start it and drive it without having the key fob. They couldn't program a new chip key, because of the driver's door lock malfunctioning, but it was fixed to our satisfaction and it only cost us $150 as opposed to the $900 we thought it might cost us. I called these guys for a quote to get new keys after I lost mine. I then found my AAA card and called them. The quotes were the same, and they contracted to these guys so AAA sent them. They called me and let me know they would arrive in 8 min. and showed up promptly in that window. They gave me the option of buying an extra key (for $15 less than the chip keys at the store!). Very friendly people, they made sure to test both keys in my ignition, door and trunk about 5 times each and even went around applying WD-40 to my locks. These people are amazing! I lost the keys to my vehicle and before called a different locksmith that didn't make me keys that worked and later found out he actually damaged my ignition and multiple other parts affiliated with it. He even charged me $195 for labor even though it was worthless! My trust in locksmiths weren't high at all, at that point but I wanted to give it another try before having my car towed to the nearest dealership. I called Automobile Locksmith the next day, they know what they are talking about and I felt more confident in their abilities and knowledge than the other locksmith. They are key/locksmith GENIUSES! The first guy knew his stuff but because of the extensive damages from the previous locksmith he needed more hands and that's when Joe and Jo showed up! The dynamic duo! It might've taken them 1.5 hours to fix the major damage but all three of them worked a miracle and had me on the road with no problem! They are experts! Jo was born with a key in her mouth, I swear! I've only written 2 other reviews in my life. Once for a company because of their good service maybe 7 years ago. The second for the awful service from the locksmith that I called before Automobile Locksmith and this is my third and I am more than happy to write it for them.
