Don't come to this service ! They will try to charge you more money because when they was help me to make they key fob they said it will be $350 for it and they didn't cute the key for me also they have me the wrong key of if my car at the first time i couldn't lock and unlock my car then i told the guy who fix for me ! After 2 days it doesn't work then they said i have to take my car to Houston again for them and they charged me more money to get another key although that that was their fault ! Uh oh! Locked my keys in the car on accident! Looked on yelp and found a bunch that had like 5 star reviews in 2018 and then 1 star reviews. Kept scrolling because I wanted to find a consistent 5 star! To my surprise here it is! Lots of reviews for this particular business, and I am soooo in! They gave me a quote over the phone, and estimate of time of arrival. The person came 5 min prior to estimated time. Everything was done within 5 minutes. Brief, professional, friendly, and most definitely would recommend. I am totally keeping this on my bookmarks and saved in my phone! Judging by other yelp reviews, I may need additional services! Super helpful cheapest prices in town! I had quotes from several places. We drove to them and they recoded my cars keys and gave me piece of mind after keys /wallet with ID were stolen. I am so disappointed! After all the great reviews and stories and reading their materials online, I set up an appointment. I happened to call afterward to get some information and was told they couldn't provide me a replacement key fob for my 2014 Ford Transit Connect XLT. "I'm sorry, that's a dealer item only." I'm mobility impaired and am darned glad I didn't drive all the way to them to find that out. read more

Lost my keys at the dog park. I was quoted $175 for a new chip key, $180 with credit card. They arrived promptly (within ~ 10 min), which surprised me because I didn't mention the specific address to the park. I signed a form allowing acura to disable my car security and then a new key was made. My only beef is that card readers automatically pop up with a tip page for 15, 20, 25% tip. I did not know you were supposed to tip a locksmith because I thought they were like service men 0_0. I googled how much locksmiths are traditionally tipped: 3%. read more

Loved the service!! Khaled came out and quickly made a new key for my vehicle. He gave me a chance to find my key but I did not notice it upon first glance. After he programmed the key I got in my vehicle and found my original pair. He was very understanding and had no problem simply charging me a lockout fee. This is the second time using this company to make a key. Made a phone call to inquire, answered a few of their questions, told them I wanted to use their services and made an appointment to have the work done at their shop. From time of initial phone call to leaving the place of business with my new key was less than an hour for over half the dealer cost. Very friendly and very efficient. What's worse than having car trouble in the Houston heat? I locked my keys and groceries in my car at the grocery store. Automobile Locksmith, gave me a quick quote and said someone would be there in 20 minutes. Their time and rate beat everyone else I called. I received a call 5 minutes later saying she ( girls rock! )was pulling up. I was so relieved to not have to wait too long. My car was open in 2 min. Automobile Locksmith provided excellent service and were very accomodating with regards to time scheduling. They re-keyed my Jeep Patriot driver, passenger, trunk, ignition locks and created 2 replacement keys in just a tad over an hour after arriving at my home. The price was exactly as quoted on the phone. They both were very careful to show me any issues before they started working - i.e. loose trim, lock not flush with door handle, etc. This was very much appreciated and I understand their concern about ensuring I didn't think they caused any new issues. Best of all was the service and personalities - they gave the right level of compassion and professionalism. This is a lovely couple running a family business and I highly recommend using them for your needs. read more

I was happy about that because my front door was not secure and I was about to go out of town for an extended period of time. The lockset on my narrow stile door is not a garden variety lock and has many variations and nuances. The locksmith was puzzled from the get-go and when I offered some advice, he welcomed my input. I am technically capable and had worked on the lockset before. Regrettably, he did not follow my guidance on how to complete one of the tasks in the reassembly process and as a consequence, one tiny screw could not be installed. The holes were slightly misaligned. So he just left it out. The lock worked and was safe, but the cover plate would bind on the jam. To his credit, he told me about it and gave me the screw. After he left, I disassembled the lock to the point of being able to make the adjustments necessary so that the screw could be installed and then reassembled everything. The main plus was that he came out right away and brought the replacement lock components that I could not obtain locally and got my lock functional within hours. Had I been able to buy the part myself I would have done the work myself. I'm pleased with everything, even considering that I had to redo some of it. I think it is unreasonable to expect any particular locksmith to know the nuances of every possible lock, especially unusual / exotic ones, so I'm OK with it and will call Howard again if I find myself in a bind.

The technician did not tell us or discuss any changes or special needs, much less any reason to charge so much more than quoted. I do not recommend this locksmith. This company is not honest or trustworthy. When I called to talk to the owner, she began talking over me and ultimately yelling at me. When I told the owner that I would post about her business she said, "we will sue you" and said, quote, "we know where you live." She also said, "we will use your text in court." I hope she does!!! They do not discuss changes BEFORE they are made and then you are surprised with a bill that is more than double the estimate.
