We came back from a cruise and lost our keys and had a long drive back to Fort Worth. Automobile locksmith was the company that AAA sent us. We were in Galveston and they came from Houston, but still made it to us in an hour and a half once they got there our day got better just for their attitudes alone. They're very nice couple that genuinely enjoy what they do and care about their customers they went out of their way to make sure that my new fob and key would match up with my spare that was sitting at home. I would recommend them to anybody because they're nice people and they do a great job. read more

I needed a copy of my FOB for my CR-V programmed and keyed. I just went to their address just to find that they work by appointment; I called them and they told me they would be there in 20 minutes, if I wanted to wait, to which I agreed. It took them much less to get there and immediately got to work. They have all the tools needed for the job and it was done quite fast and very good. They even told me why the FOB I had bought somewhere else was not the best option for what I wanted, but made it work anyway. Great service and great price. Highly recommended. read more

Uh oh! Locked my keys in the car on accident! Looked on yelp and found a bunch that had like 5 star reviews in 2018 and then 1 star reviews. Kept scrolling because I wanted to find a consistent 5 star! To my surprise here it is! Lots of reviews for this particular business, and I am soooo in! They gave me a quote over the phone, and estimate of time of arrival. The person came 5 min prior to estimated time. Everything was done within 5 minutes. Brief, professional, friendly, and most definitely would recommend. I am totally keeping this on my bookmarks and saved in my phone! Judging by other yelp reviews, I may need additional services! Be safe everyone! read more

Lost my keys at the dog park. I was quoted $175 for a new chip key, $180 with credit card. They arrived promptly (within ~ 10 min), which surprised me because I didn't mention the specific address to the park. I signed a form allowing acura to disable my car security and then a new key was made. My only beef is that card readers automatically pop up with a tip page for 15, 20, 25% tip. I did not know you were supposed to tip a locksmith because I thought they were like service men 0_0. I googled how much locksmiths are traditionally tipped: 3%. read more

I am so disappointed! After all the great reviews and stories and reading their materials online, I set up an appointment. I happened to call afterward to get some information and was told they couldn't provide me a replacement key fob for my 2014 Ford Transit Connect XLT. "I'm sorry, that's a dealer item only." I'm mobility impaired and am darned glad I didn't drive all the way to them to find that out. read more

What's worse than having car trouble in the Houston heat? I locked my keys and groceries in my car at the grocery store. Automobile Locksmith, gave me a quick quote and said someone would be there in 20 minutes. Their time and rate beat everyone else I called.
