There's good customer service, great customer service, and then there is the "Ulysses Tarango from Autoland" experience. I was in the market for a new vehicle and as with any huge purchase, I was dreading the lackluster offers that were going to be given to me. I went into a dealership looking for a new Honda Accord EXL, and after a couple of minutes, the salesman had me at their desk talking number on a used Honda Accord Sport. Not only that, there were selling me a used vehicle close to 10K above sticker and claiming, "It's market price". Even if that were true, they were trying to sell me a car I did not ask for. I visited a couple of other dealerships and it only resulted in much of the same. I was fed up and was seriously discouraged by the aggressiveness of the sales folk. I felt I was not being heard, and they were just trying to make a sale. I made the decision that I did not want to deal with that anymore. As a School's First Credit Union member, I learned I could get a consultant to help me with the car buying process; free of charge for members! When I first spoke with Ulysses, I was a little intimidated because he had the same serious stance as many of the dealerships. The only difference is that Ulysses was on my team! He told me about his experience selling cars and how he brokers deals with dealerships. He took the time to explain his experience and his process and I appreciated being on the other side of that assertiveness for once. We talked, he listened and was absolutely transparent about my selection. He explained that the car I wanted was in short supply, but if it was out there, he could find it. We got off the phone and I was feeling hopeful. i was prepared to wait a few days before he got back to me with information. It wasn't more than 2 hours when he called me back and said, "I have some good news". I couldn't believe it. I was admittedly excited that he found what I was looking for in such a short time. Still, I was hesitant to get too excited because he still had not mentioned sticker price or payment. When he broke down the charges for the car and gave me an estimate on monthly payments, I let out a loud, "WHAT?!?!" Not only did he find the car, but the monthly payment came out to several hundred dollars less than what the initial dealership was charging me for a used car that was not the trim I wanted. I knew then and there I was in good hands. Ulysses was thorough in his work, kept me informed through the entire process and gave me an estimate as to when it would all be done. From my initial interaction with Ulysses to the day I drove off the lot was exactly 1 week! I am so happy i worked with Ulysses from Autoland and never in my life could I think that a car buying experience could be so pleasant. I am thrilled with my investment, and I am happy I worked with a professional like Ulysses. Mr. Tarango, if you are reading this... I want to publicly acknowledge and thank you. Your modest side will say you're just doing your job, but you made my dream of my first ever new car, possible. Yes, it's a modest little car, but it's all mine. Muchisimas Gracias Amigo! read more

Autoland offered one of the best car shopping experiences I have ever had in my life. To start, I wanted a very specific vehicle : 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara ( North Edition ) in a specific shade of gray. I was helped by Jeremy Robertson, he immediately assured me that he would work on finding my vehicle. Sure enough, in matter of 2 days he found it, I was surprised that it was being purchased from a dealership in L.A given that I live in San Jose. Jeremy coordinated the transportation and delivery of my vehicle. At no cost to me, at all! The process was so smooth, I never spoke with any dealership or set foot in a dealership. In fact Jeremy and I communicated through text, I expressed what I needed and he took care of the rest. I was disappointed that my credit Union did not offer me a loan based on my immigration status, despite having the credit and assets to back up my loan. I kind of felt sad that I wouldn't be able to proceed with my dream vehicle. However, Jeremy turned around and negotiated a new deal with the dealership directly instead of going through the credit union. I ended up with a better loan offer! And a lower monthly payment! In less than a week I had my vehicle! On the day of pick up, my vehicle had a beautiful bow, it was special! They were so transparent, they explained my contract top to bottom! No hidden offers, deals, anything! It sounded to good to be true, but in the end it was so great! Cant express how grateful I am for all the help, and coordinating from Jeremy and anyone else involved. I will absolutely be back for my next purchase, highly recommend ! read more

Our family was in need of a car, fairly quickly, but not in an emergent situation. Through our credit union, SchoolsFirst FCU, I was interested in searching for cars in their database. In submitting my request for access to the database, I was flagged wherein Luis from the main office contacted me. I was waiting for my husband to determine the car he wanted (this is his car), and poor Luis was stuck leaving messages for me. He attempted four times, and he kindly asked me to let him know if I was still interested or not (no pressure) so he would stop calling me. When I finally returned his call with our interest, he connected me with Jake Koenke, the Autoland representative for the Placentia CA branch, From there, I told Jake exactly what we wanted. He took our information, and within 48 hours, we had identified a car. He did all of the dealing, finding us a Toyota Camry SE lease with no-haggle. After running our credit, we qualified for a low lease payment (beyond our wildest dreams). Jake took on all of the communication with the dealership. We just came back from his office where we signed all of the paperwork with ease i the comfort of the credit union's offices versus hours in the dealership. This was the most seamless experience finding and leasing a car that we have ever had, and Autoland has earned our future car purchases. Jake was personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. If you HATE buying cars, and you want to avoid the dealership, Autoland is the place to go. read more

I was in and out of dealerships looking for a new truck. Dealing with all kinds of financial issues because I was a first time Car buyer. Not only was that a headache, I couldn't find the right truck for me. I knew what I wanted but at the same time i didn't (if you know what i mean) I wanted a certain truck with certain packages and a specific color. Since the dealers didn't have anything that i was looking for I kept hearing the same things, like... "just be color blind" "it practically has that package, you are just missing is the sticker" and "you are not going to find that truck anywhere" Right when I was about to give up, I was informed that SchoolsFirst helps you find your car AND they helped me get a loan at a great rate, better than all the dealer I sat down with. After giving them a call, I was lucky enough to get assigned the best man for the job, Ulysses Tarango. I am so glad he was able to help me out, he made everything very easy and most important, I got what i wanted. With his very hard work and outstanding customer service, he found THE truck for me and made every single process after that as smooth as possible. There is no way I will step into a dealership ever again. Thank you Autoland, thank you SchoolsFirst and most importantly thank you Ulysses Tarango. read more

We purchased our previous car thru Autoland in Sept 2017, and that was such a positive experience that for our next car without giving it a second thought we came right back to Autoland again this time! We were searching for a very specific Subaru model, color, & options and it was difficult to get that, due to the current supply / demand situation. Many people looking for this type of vehicle are stuck waiting for new deliveries to come from the factory. But our consultant Stephanie at Autoland Pleasanton CA found for us multiple matches and after just a few days of searching and coordinating with their partners, they found the vehicle for us and had it shipped to Pleasanton for us to take delivery! Also we got our loan thru a credit union that Autoland partners with so all the financing and paperwork is really streamlined with very little left for me to deal with. Everything was done online, except for final pick-up of the car! Stephanie was very responsive and kept us constantly updated thru the entire process. This is so painless and easy and you get the exact vehicle that you wanted! I can't imagine I'd every choose a different way to buy a car. read more

Thank you to Ulysees at Autoland for going above and beyond in finding THE car for me! Professional, knowledgeable explaining things to me along the way, PATIENT, efficient, thorough, detailed, photos, options and alternatives provided, answered every question... After a week of searching on my own to no avail for the car that I thought I wanted until driving it, spending hours and days at dealerships dealing with salesmen with various personalities who were a bit frustrated, impatient, in a rush to close the deal...I called the credit union for Autoland referral. Ulysees responded and went right to work as I needed a car right away. Everything was set on a car I chose until I drove another car I could handle better. After all the hard work by Ulysees on the original car, he found and negotiated the 2nd car that was better suited to my needs. He turned it all around in a day, literally overnight! Appreciation is an understatement. All of the paperwork was already prepared for me to pick up the new car today! I will refer family and friends to Autoland and will use this service again next time. read more

The experience of purchasing my new auto was so simplified with the expertise of Ulysses Turango. I felt as though he was family as he did an amazing job of finding the car I wanted. He personally gave me honest and accurate info that I felt I could trust. I opened my account with schools first cr union on 4-19-23. The loan approval took 10 min. Ulysses worked to get me what I could afford and I signed loan docs & drove my new car home. 1 wk from starting process. He drove me as I had no vehicle & reassured me along the way he would search for a 2023 kia Rio & he did. His colleague Brandon Chionski brought the car to my residence and I test drove it en route to the Lakewood branch. It was so comfortable and I felt like I was sitting in a comfortable chair. I love it! No surprises with anything that I was told. Most of my family are members also and have raved about their experience as well. People such as Ulysses and Brandon are very dedicated to their members. I wish everyone could experience the ease of buying as I did. It could not have been any better. read more

I wanted to wait to get the experience of driving my new car before posting a review. First, I'd like to start by saying that this is the first time I have ever used Autoland as I have been used to dealing with car salesmen in the past. Second, my experience with Autoland was great with no issues. I'd like to commend both Haley and Laura or Lori for making my buying experience a very pleasant one. Haley was both friendly and eager to help me find the right car I was looking for. After Haley and I discussed which car I was in the market for, it only took her 30-40 mins to find what I was looking for. Laura made getting the paper work experience a pleasant one as well. I didn't feel like I was being pressured or as if I was signing my life away. Great and friendly service was all I was looking for and that's what I got. And not having to deal with the sharks is a plus. Thank you Autoland and for both Haley and Laura for all of your assistance. Thank you for making my first time experience with you a great one. I couldn't be happier with this service! Perfect during quarantine when I wasn't feeling comfortable enough to spend hours haggling with salesmen at the dealership. I called our local agent, Jake, who was friendly and patient as I listed off what I was looking for in a new car. I was very particular about the color and features I wanted and he was relentless in his search to find exactly what I was looking for. Within 24 hours, he located the perfect car at a very fair price! I arranged to pick it up the next day at our local credit union. There it was, sitting in the parking lot, with a huge blue bow on the hood! That little detail truly made my day. Met with Jake who went over the features of my car and even offered to help pair my phone to Apple CarPlay. Above and beyond service right there! Finalized the paperwork with Jake who then took me over to the finance agent at the credit union. One stop shop! The entire process took just two hours. I will definitely use AutoLand for my next vehicle purchase! read more

This was the most amazing experience I have ever had buying and trading in a car. Lisa Perez is above and beyond a representative for this company. She knew exactly what I wanted and got to know me as a person to help me find the best car for my personal needs and wants. From finding the car that met all of my wants and criteria, to getting me the best trade in value for my car, to making sure I was completely satisfied with all of the details and paperwork, she was with me the entire way as if there was no other client she was working with. I will NEVER buy another car unless it is with Autoland and Lisa if possible. When I drove up in my trade in and saw the big blue bow sitting on the car I was buying, delivered right down the street to my credit union, I thought I was dreaming. Does anyone else do this? A firm NO!! You will be so happy with the outcome of your purchase and trade in. I am still over the moon excited with the entire purchase and experience, start to finish! read more

I was in a car accident & needed a car to go back to work & for doctor appointments. I'm that person who's not very good at interacting with people so I was dreading going to a car dealer. however I remembered that my brother had gotten his car through Autoland & as much as I also dislike making phone calls I decided to call them. It was the best decision I made. Lenny from Autoland was friendly & easy to talk to. He asked me for details about what kind of car I was looking for & hunted it down for me in like a day. Some paperwork was done via email & he worked with me to set up an appointment for when I'd get the car. The day came & I was introduced to Laura from Autoland. She showed me the car & went over its features & stuff & we finalized the paperwork. The entire process was fast & easy especially with their communication skills. Again, best decision I made & thank you Lenny for helping me & answering all my questions thoroughly, you made phone calls feel not too bad. read more

I will never buy a new car by walking into a car dealer ever again... After attempting to by a new car from 2 different dealers with same exact car, I just gave up and decided to drive my car into the ground, and spare myself a repeat performance... My wife reminded me that our credit union is affiliated with AutoLand... I gave Favio Costin at AL my criteria, and within a week, my new car was delivered... Not only was the price $5000 lower out the door than either of the dealers, but AL wholesaled my car for $2300 more than one dealer's offer... I figure that Favio saved me $7000+ on a car that everyone said was "waaaay in demand"... The deal was finished at my residence and my trade-in picked up the same day... This was the EASIEST car purchase I've ever made, and I never felt for a moment that anyone was trying to put one over on me, and that is something I have felt with EVERY car dealer... Thank you, Favio Costin, and AutoLand... read more
