Was initally very pleased with the service we recieved at Autoland. They seemed like a trustworthy and honest small business, the kind of business we like to give our support to. We had done extensive research on what we wanted and purchased a 2011 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport with 104,000 miles on it. Being a Subaru, we inquired about the issues they tend to experience around 100,000 miles. We were told that the timing belt, head gaskets and water pump had all been replaced and that it "Goes down the road good". After a test drive we were confident in our choice and purchased the car. This is where the nightmare began. After having the car for 8 days the check engine light came on and and 10 minutes later the car was steaming on the side of the road halfway through my partner's shift as a delivery driver. Coolant was sprayed all over the engine and we payed for a tow from Portland to Autoland in Wells. Jay's response was dismissive at best. After 13 days of him being "unable" to look the car over that day, we were told the head gaskets were warped due to the engine overheating, due to a faulty water pump. The same water pump that was supposed to be newly installed at his shop. 11 days later we received word that the car was back in working order. We did not once receive an apology for the inconvenience, Jay remained defensive and incommunicative through the entire process. A month later the engine began overheating again and Jay did not return our voicemails for four days. We decided that his mechanics were obviously not to be trusted and brought the car to Chip's Subaru where we were told that the engine was leaking oil internally through the cam seal, there were electrical problems preventing the back windows and lights from working that would be difficult and costly to diagnose, that the entire exhaust system needing replacement and that a sound we were hearing in the enginge was a 'ticking time bomb', but that to diagnose the actual engine issue would cost several more hours of labor. The cost of all of the repairs effectively totals the car. We just spent 9,000 dollars out of pocket after finding a dealership to accept the car as a trade for 3,500 (half of the original value we purchased the car at less than six months ago), paying off the remaining difference in the loan and purchasing the cheapest reliable car we could find. So when Jay tells you that it "Goes down the road good", I'd advise you to understand that he means right then, in that moment, and probably not for much longer. We're out approximately 10,000 dollars with missed work, rentals, repairs, towing and having to purchase a beater car to get us through the winter. DO NOT BUY FROM AUTOLAND, they do not stand behind their product or their service. Jay is the stereotypical used car salesman trying to make a quick buck off an unsuspecting customer. Don't be that customer. read more

My wife and I were having a difficult time finding the car we both wanted and could be approved for. I had higher monthly income but very challenged credit. After having the worst time at big car dealers where they offered us cars we didn't want and loans with hidden service contracts, Hares of Autoland followed up on a text I had sent about a car we were interested in. Once we were able to make it down to Hayward, we were greeted with an truly honorable experience. They let us drive the car and made us feel very comfortable. You would think this is normal, but it is not in our experience. Then, they gave us what we asked for on our trade in, and were able to get us approved on payments we were happy with. EVEN MORE --- After they were able to get the payments to something agreeable they were able to talk the bank down 2 more times on the APR. After signing the contract, Romero had us come back the next day and lowered the APR AGAIN even after everything was signed and done on the first loan! THIS SAVED US $50/mo in pure interest and they had already made the sale. They literally got nothing out of it but it took them hours of negotiating. Am from socal, looking for a stick 4wd but couldn't find one locally. Stumbled upon Autoland's ad in autotrader. It was EXACTLY what I wanted, but it was 300 miles away. What to do??? I HAD to have this truck but didn't have the time to go see it. So what did I do? I first checked the Yelp reviews and they were all excellent. So, I knew right off the bat that these was a good dealer to work with. I called them up, spoke to Tony and Ayman, settled on a price, and got the pieces in motion. They both went to the car while I was on the phone, answered all my questions, and assured me it was in great condition. I had them check inside and out. Felt good and pulled the trigger. They communicated with me each step of the way and got it on a delivery truck the next day. Even sent me pictures as they waxed the truck one last time and loaded it on the delivery truck. Great Customer service from Ivan and Ramiro!! After searching for about a week through craigslist and countless dealerships these guys assisted me with purchasing the SUV I was looking for. Not only was it in great shape but the customer service was great! I arrived with my mom and right away Ivan approached us and asked how he could be of help. We checked out a few cars and he answered every question i asked, honestly and knowledgeably. Ramiro Helped us with our financing and purchasing questions. Also was very friendly and gave us a fair price for the SUV. The Detailer wasn't working on Saturday so, to accommodate my needs Ivan and Ramiro agreed to stop by my work, pick up the SUV, have it detailed, and bring it back afterwards. I've always bought my CPO BMW from BMW dealers. This year, I've been on the market for over 3 months searching for my next CPO 5 series. Autoland had what I was looking for a price significantly cheaper than the lowest I was able to find among all BMW dealers in the Bay Area. I was hesitant in the beginning to buy from a non-BMW dealer, but I'm glad I did. When I went there, being used to BMW dealers, I was staggered by the excellent customer service, friendliness and knowledge of the staff, and the financing options they offered which are in par with what BMW offered as a national program!!! I drove out of Autoland the car I've been searching for, perfectly detailed that it felt like new even though it's a 2011 model, and committed to a monthly payment that was lower than I had budgeted because of the rate they approved me for. I want to share my experience with Autoland since my last review got filtered. I bought a 2013 VW tiguan about 2 months ago or so, I actually went there to only look at cars but I ended up buying one since the costumer service was very amazing, the salesman was very professional and not pushy at all, Which I liked a lot, since sometimes dealers sales people can get in my nerves, this wasn't the case at all, he let me test the car by myself, then about the procedure of financing it, That's where Aymar comes in, he's a very cool guy, easygoing and experienced, he got me a deal with the car, I paid 2K less of the estimate value of the car, plus a very very low interest, he was definitely what made my experience so pleasant, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a like new car with low prices... I bought a car at Autoland last weekend. I HATE buying cars! But I have to say that this was the best car buying experience that I have ever had. It was actually very pleasant. The salesman (sorry, I don't remember his name!) was knowledgeable and low-key. The team went out of their way to make every aspect of the transaction easy. And when it came to finalizing the transaction, Ayman was great. There are a number of other nice posts about Ayman's professionalism and helpfulness. They are all true and more. I was also able to experience Ayman's responsiveness after the sale was done as well. Excellent! This is not a huge car dealership, but they seem to focus on quality used cars and have a good looking inventory. We went on a marathon car buying mission recently, visiting 6 car dealerships in 8 hours. Everyone at Autoland was very friendly, professional, and low-pressure. We had to deal with our fair share of sleazeballs at some of the other dealerships we visited, but I'm happy to report that we encountered none of that at Autoland! The price of the vehicle was fair and the salesman did a nice job of answering questions we had, while still letting us poke around and experience the vehicle for ourselves. They had lots of options available for financing. We came in with a pre-approval from our bank, but they immediately found something else that beat the APR and were very efficient and knowledgeable. My car got totaled a few months ago so my pregnant daughter and I had to walk or take public transportation everywhere. My daughter is expecting a baby very soon and with that, I have other children who need my help getting around. My credit isn't very good. I saw that Auto Deals helped individuals with poor credit. The manager was able to find a way to make it possible for me to drive off his lot with a very great car/truck big enough for all of my family's needs. He was very kind, thoughtful, patient and knowledgeable. He knows what he's doing and he does it WELL!!! I have never had such a good experience like that in buying a car. I was so very pleased!! My father and I went to the store looking for the car we found online. Hares guided us through out our visit and showed us the car that we came for. I test drove the car but ended up not liking it so I tried searching the shop and found the car that looked appealing to me. They were very eager to let me do another test drive. I ended up liking the Ford Fusion 2017 Hybrid SE. Hares gave us enough information about the car as well as other cars so we had something to compare with, which helped me and my dad to make informed decisions. He also offered extra services outside of the deal that I think was very nice. The deal was great and quick and I took home the car with smiles on my face. Best place to buy a car! So far I bought two cars from Autoland! The staff is always friendly and outgoing. Makes it feel like if we are family. For almost three weeks I was checking their website to see what cars they have and fell in love with A Ford Flex that they had in stock. I kept checking to see if it was still there and it was. This past Sunday I decided to go to the dealer and see the Flex in person. As soon as I sat on the seat and took it for a test drive, I was more in love with it. Warning, very manipulative people. Scammers is an understatement. The so called Finance manager Ramiro or whatever his name is, is absolutely sketchy. They will not disclose issues with the car you buy, then pin it on you, saying you did it. The warranty they sell is also fake. I'm surprised they haven't been reported to the better business organisation to be investigated. Do not buy from them. Sales people themselves are nice, but their business practice and finance manager is a total fraudulent person. You are better off contacting car rental companies to buy a car then these people. read more
