I first got approved for a loan and after a horrible experience somewhere else I came here to Auto Land and already did my research and already had a vehicle picked out that they had on their lot. They were very helpful about making sure I wanted what I picked out and they were not pushy at all. They made sure that I was sure about what I picked out and let me know what my other options were without trying to push me into a sale that I didn't want. The paperwork process was easy and decently quick compared to other experiences I've had in the past. They also gave me my space and didn't hover while I looked over the vehicle I was interested in. All in all everyone I talked to there was respectful, and very nice. They made the whole car buying experience a enjoyable one which is very uncommon in that business. They also hooked it up with a warranty even though the vehicle was marked no warranty and they didn't hassle me by trying to get more money out of me for down payment. If I ever look for a used car again I hope they have what I'm looking for so I can buy from them again. I purchased a Nissan Rogue here about 2 years ago. I meant to write a review immediately after but didn't get around to it. The main reason I am writing a review now is because I recently got ripped off at a big time dealer and I remembered what a great experience I had buying my first car at Autoland. My credit wasn't great and I didn't have much money to put down but Autoland helped me get the perfect car for me at that time. For me buying a 2011 nissan rogue all by myself was a dream come. ( I was driving a beat up 2002 civic at that time, when it was working ) Autoland made me feel comfortable and not pressured at all. I can't remember the name of the gentleman that helped me but he was latino and wore glasses. He made me feel like he was my uncle and he was there to legitimately help me, not just make a sale. There was even a huge mix up I noticed the following day which they fixed without any hesitation or grief from their end. I had a wonderful experience here and most importantly I was not ripped off with crazy tax prices or last minute add ons. I recommend this place to anyone. In June I contacted the dealership regarding a GMC Yukon I was searching for. Joe was helpful in answering questions and providing access to the Carfax on 2 units they had I was interested in. I phoned ahead a few days later to set an appointment to inspect them. Upon arrival, everyone was helpful in getting the cars to a spot to inspect them. The first one did not meet our needs, but the second proved to be a good fit except it was above my budget. Joe was reasonable in hearing my price concerns and we negotiated an acceptable price we could both live with, the sign of a good deal. He was willing to make some changes to the car I requested and arrange for a very favorable loan which allowed us to take the car that day without a return trip. There was a minor glitch regarding the DMV fees charged that he handled professionally, standing by his word. I don't buy cars at dealerships very often, but feel this experience was better than most I have had. I think this dealership is very accommodating in the way they treat their customers in trying to find a workable solution to their needs. I have a hard time understanding some of the negative reviews posted about Joe. My experience was a positive one. read more

My Friend told me to buy my car from this place, because apparently they are from the same town. Joe is obnoxious and rude, promises things and doesn't deliver. The car I bought from them had license plates cover by their stupid advertisement and was not informed, I had no manual for my car, they said they'll mail me one it never happened. Went today to pick up a 2015 Nissan Altima I was buying and the salesman Hugo was great until it came to talking to his boss who tried to inform me that Hugo entered my trade was as a SE instead of the base model so my trade was worth $3500 less than we agreed on, the only problem is Hugo showed me the blue book value on his computer screen and it showed base model and was less than our agreed price but Hugo said we give our customers more so they leave happy. when I was talking to his boss he was not around so I had his boss call him so he could hear the truth that Hugo had lied to him and me. Great Experience - We love our SUV and it was a really great price as well. Jose was who we spoke to first and he never pressured us and gave us great information about the car so we could make a decision on our own. Hugo was the sales person I dealt with at auto land. Wish I hadn't he lied about pretty much everything including the fact that the airbag light was on and their intention to fix it. Car was filthy when I showed up to pick it up and when I went back to have it cleaned a sub standard job was done. Car was already sold so why should they care right? Do not trust them, and if you have to buy from them get everything checked out by a mechanic you trust before you sign anything. So far it's cost me $1000.00 to fix the stuff that I should not have had to deal with at all. read more

To start the only star they are getting is because of Maria. I wish I could say that our experience was as good as everyone else's because that was the reason we went to Autoland. Unfortunately that was NOT the case for us! It started off great but a few days after we got our car, our happy experience quickly turned bad. I was yelled at by Joe the GM, he spoke to me in such an awful way then hung up on me while we were on the phone. When we thought things we're finally ok, we then started receiving calls from the financial institute that we had with the car we traded in. They had NOT received the pay off amount! After 3 weeks the pay off had not been done and we were getting harassing calls from them. I called Autoland to see what was going on, a week and a half went by and things were still not taken care of! After calling multiple times I also got yelled at by Yasmine because she was getting frustrated maybe, well imagine what we felt getting calls everyday with something that was out of our hands because the car was no longer ours!!!! We traded it in for the car we got at Autoland! So why wait almost ONE MONTH to do the pay off?!?!?!?! Getting yelled at by multiple employees is NOT THE WAY YOU SHOULD TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!! I do want to thank Maria who was polite and tried to help us as much as she could, she answered all of my questions and was very respectful! For been a first time car buyer I was a bit nervous but Ramiro made the process simple and easy for me to understand. I wanted a truck and was able to find my a truck at my price range and get me a good payment plan that went well with my finances. CEROOO STARS.... My husband bought a nissan pathfinder 2008 with 86k miles at this dealer.. We made the worst deal ever it had the tire censor on and ramiro said he was going to fix it I took it like 5 times and the censor is still on. They also didn't have the key for the gas cap then jose one of their workers had to break it and they replace it after I told them like 3 times. Then the check engine light turned on due to the catalyc converter and to another code that came up due to the gas cap THEY broke. they didnt want to fix it and the catalyc converter guaranty expired at 85k miles which is kind of wierd. But now I'm happy that we returned it and we didn't have to pay anything although we lost our down payment but o well we leave it in the hands of God. But I recommend you guys not to buy from this dealer because they sell cars that don't even work. We bought this vehicle on 03/07/15 and returned 05/13/15. we only had it for two months and gave us all this problems... read more

BUYER BEWARE...I bought a salvage title vehicle from them which was my mistake. What they sold me was a truck that should not have been sold to anyone because it is a death trap. I was obviously not given the most basic of safety checks because the brakes are below the legal limit. They lied when they said (Ramiro and some other sales person) that the ticking noise was the spray to clean the engine. It is a bent balancer and possible bent crank shaft. Joe lied repeatedly when first when he said he'd help find another truck, then when he said he would look into the repairs. I doubt that it has a legal smog ok sticker because the check engine light came on after an hour of driving it. And those are just the top problems with it. No moral compass at this place. They got this in as a trade and they should have retired the truck, instead they just passed it off not caring someone could have been killed in this thing. I am reporting them to the BAR (bureau of automotive repair) and better business bureau. I've had better luck with two other cars off of cragslist than this "dealer". BUYER BEWARE. read more

There are probably more used auto dealers per square mile in the Hayward area than almost anywhere else in Northern California. I have visited probably a dozen of them in the past month... helping friends to find vehicles.... BUT AUTOLAND HAYWARD stands head and shoulders above the others. I was first impressed with the impeccable quality of the vehicles on their lot... Every vehicle looks almost new. But beyond the fantastic vehicles was the genuine, straightforward manner of the sales staff... Pleasant, helpful, straight answers and eager to create the opportunity for every customer to get what they want and need. Joe works miracles through unique and difficult financing challenges... including matching insurance carriers to each situation as needed. My situation was complicated, and Joe worked through the details for more than a week before creating solutions to every obstacle... I got the car I came in to buy... the payments are lower than I had aimed for, and the insurance through a major carrier is less than my old carrier... These guys are one in a million.... Anybody can sell you a car... but few can make it as pleasant and efficient as Joe and his crew.... read more

Hi. We just got our new used car from Autoland.. First a nice young man helped us look at a few cars,and we took a test drive. We saw a car that needed a wash and wax,and was not ready to be sold yet. As we wear looking at other cars we saw a SUV that looked just what we wanted We wear first time buyers and did not have much credit. And they gave us a good deal with a low interest rate, but than the next day, called us and said they got our interest rate a lot LOWER.. PLUS we wanted a warranty , but did not want to pay more money a month. In the end they got us a lower interest rate and warranty too. I happy with all the friendly help,advice . I. Think most car lots are good people and they do. Tell you. As is, but I am sure If you are nice person and have respect for the company and their salesperson.
