Noel is incredibly kind and sincere! I told him my 2011 Chevy needed some work, and he fit me into his busy schedule super last minute. Tire was flat, High-Voltage Charging error on dash (car didn't charge), key fob didn't work. He resolved everything in less than 20 min! Absolutely mind-blowing. Wow! Mic drop, Just when I was about to lose faith in all humanity, I went to AutoCraft. I had a flat tire, reach out to them via LinkedIn and they said I could bring the car right down. I got held up on a work call for 30 minutes so was late. When I arrived I was told that several cars showed up before me and that I would have to wait my turn, 30 minutes. Great, I was happy to do that. They set a reasonable expectation with a reasonable explanation. In 10 minutes they started working on the tire and I was gone in 15 minutes. I have written some nasty reviews for what I found to be appallingly bad service. So I am really pleased to tell the loyal reader about a great experience and an unequivocal recommendation. Caveat: you might not experience my little miracle, but these guys definitely seem to try! Lesson: get there early because, like the favorite donut shop, the line forms before opening. read more

After doing a bit of research between different auto shops and reading countless reviews I decided to go with Autocraft. The price quoted to me was very reasonable and I went with the fact that Noel has been doing this for over 20+ years and has specialty with European cars. I booked an appointment for a brake change and he quickly called me and let me know that my brakes were fine but my rotors were the ones who needed the work done. He assured me that the service would still stay near my previously discussed budget and I readily agreed to anything he had to do because I knew I could trust his expertise. Went here the other day and helped me out with something minor with my car. The shop seemed to be busy but Noel, I guess the owner, took the time to greet me and asked me what was wrong with my car. My car(Mercedes c250) was making a ticking noise and I called last minute to get it checked out. Didn't realize it was overdue for a service for half a year. TLDR; My car was messed up (needed new tires, new axel, airbag coding, oh and oil change) and Noel and his team got all these things fixed by the next day - and I didn't have to go broke to get it done! -- My VW GTI was absolutely on its last limb when I brought it into Noel's shop. I had been in an accident 3 years prior which essentially required me to replace the entire front left area of my car. Where we brought it before thru insurance, we thought, did a good job putting it back together. Fast forward 3 years, and I'm bring my car into AutoCraft for an oil change (based of a friend's referral) and I find out I'd been driving in what in simple terms could be considered a death trap. Noel let me know immediately that my front left axel which was supposedly fixed, was leaking grease and that my airbags never were coded correctly post-accident (so I had been driving without properly working airbags... yeah, death trap). On top of these issues, I, by my own fault, never rotated my tires after the accident - and my back 2 tires were on their last thread. Noel sent me photos of each issue and respectfully waited for me to give the OK to fix, which obviously I said yes cuz I was not tryna die! In my mind I'm thinking, well shit, this is going to cost me an arm and a leg, but it turns out, the price for the work done was frickin cheap and not at all the $$$$ I wouldve had to spend at the Volkswagon shop. My car runs like a dream again and I'm so grateful that I'm typing this review alive and well!!! Best autoshop experience I've ever had. My car needed the wheel bearings changed so I came in off the recommendation of a friend. I actually live in Sacramento but visit the bay often and Noel was very accomodating--he let me drop my car off on Friday as soon as I got in and I got it right back the next day! He even showed me pictures of how bad my bearings were, which I didn't ask for but was very nice of him to do because you never really know if you're being upsold something at an autoshop. I was able to get 4 tires at a considerably better price than at Big O Tires. I also had the AC system drained and recharged. The work was completed and my truck ready by late afternoon on the day I took it in. Everything was done well - I did notice that they left a valve stem off of one tire, but I had an extra one so I didn't bother to go back. The AC works great- just in time for a heat wave. My VW Golf battery wasn't holding charge. Two separate CSAA battery service techs had tested my battery and said it was fine and suggested I take it to a mechanic to ID a problem somewhere in the electrical system. I called two garages besides AutoCraft. Both of the other garages wanted to charge their full hourly rates for a diagnosis and then more for repair. When I called Noel he decisively told me that the problem was with my battery. I was relieved to hear him say that but also a bit skeptical after my experiences with CSAA techs. He said he had a different piece of equipment that could better-detect battery issues. He also said he would not charge for any diagnosis. He was both correct with his diagnosis, and true to his word, didn't charge for any diagnosis, nor even labor, just for the cost of the battery. I found this auto repair shop by accident. I was desperately looking for a place to open my 2010 528 BMW back trunk which suddenly could not be opened. It happened on the Thanksgiving weekend and almost all the auto shops were closed. I drove passed the store and saw the door was open. The owner Noel was very nice and quickly checked the car. He told me that the wire could be broken, since the store was close that day and it may take some time to fix the problem ( he needs to crawl into the back trunk from the back row seats to open the trunk and fix the problem), he asked me whether I live close by and come by on the following Monday. On that Monday morning I brought in my car. In a couple of hours I received the phone call from Noel telling me that the car is ready to pick up. Very nicely he also offered to pick me up to get my car. The charge for the repair was very reasonable, much cheaper than the dealer's, I was also deeply impressed by his technique based on his work on my car. Because of that, I asked him to fix my 2008 Toyota Sienna back door which also could not be opened for a while. Quickly he found out the locker was broken, the problem was gone after he replaced the locker.
