Didn't even realize I came back to this one. The only good thing I can say was the lady that helped me seemed nice. I was looking for coolant for a bmw, grabbed some off the shelf where a bunch of them were at, took it to the counter and was told it was recalled so they can't sell it to me. I've never had an experience at an AutoZone where the employees don't help you with the installation of a new battery that was purchased there. But this location's employees looked inside my Toyota Corolla and said they can't remove the old battery because of some "fancy wiring" on the battery terminals. This was total BS because 20 minutes later I went to an AutoZone in Grapevine and an employee there took out the old battery with no issue. Thus this location will get 1 star from me while the other location will receive 5 stars from me. read more

Another return of a used item. This is the third one. Check your returns before you put them back on the shelf, guys!! Basically accused of lying as the oil I bought was used! When I tried to exchange I was told that each gallon is checked on the side when stocked and that they even remembered the oil container I bought was clean when I bought it! It might have been! When one sees dirty oil coming out of a new oil container one has a tendency to yank that away from the engine. That can cause spillage on the container. Plus, a returned item is not going to be stocked with new items that you "check". I spend $1000s at this store so I'm not going to lie over $25 bucks worth of oil! Like I would fill my car with new oil, put the dirty oil in the new container and return it! I guess it worked for someone as I got stuck with their used oil. Will not be a customer anymore. read more

Came around 9:40 and they were closed even though they close at 10. The workers were inside laughing at me trying to get in. Someone came to the door and said we're closed. I informed him that all I needed was fix a flat because my tire went flat. He finally lets me in and asked if I was paying with card which I was and stated that I should've came this late. Very unprofessional This was the same guy who tried to up charge me $80 for a battery change. Smh he needs to do better. read more

But when I brought comparable items to the front the cashier Ricky noted with what I grabbed I wasn't going to get the advertised deal. I expressed I did want the deal and what brand I usually use. The service here is mediocre but the location is honestly super convenient for me. Located on Belt Line, they're always busy (not too crazy) with regular customers and emergency stops. My experiences ordering online and picking up in store have been pretty great and that is my preference because I can save with online coupons. I'm also a rewards member. Recently I had to come buy a battery and the guy who assisted me wasn't very helpful in attitude though he eventually got the job done. I'm sparing his name for grace. I asked him what the difference between two batteries was and he couldn't tell me, so I bought the pricier one with the longer warranty. That sucked though. He seemed new and was close to damaging my car during the new battery install. His level of confidence was stressing me. I started praying lol. Whew, Jesus fixed it. Not the best location, but not the worst. AutoZone in general is swell in my book. My dad has always been a fan, and the same view has been passed down and accepted by me. I'll probably be back for windshield wipers haha. There's an O'Reilly a little further down Belt Line too though if you'd like to compare. read more

Rob S., your store manager, is the reason I will never come back. He was rude and tried to act like a smart ass. I am so upset management gave the worst first impression. I would expect more from a store manager. In fact, I would never give a bad review about something like this only if it was this bad. I expected him to be more of a leader and try to assist us with his knowledge, instead the service was no more than any other employee. So so so upset at how he approached us and I'm sure many other guests. Never ever coming back. I can find better service somewhere else. Auto zone, please re-train or do something because I expected more. It was so upsetting. read more

Had issues with my car starting and thought it may be the battery. Called this location and spoke to Robert and explained the issues that I was having. He asked me to bring my car up so he could take a look. End up being corrosion buildup on the battery and he took the time to unhook it all, scrape off all of the corrosion, and even did a diagnostic test to see if any thing else was or might be the problem. The evening of 9/16/2021, I came here for an issue with my Jeep's battery. There was a young man with dark hair and a young girl with her hair in a bun who might be named Alissa. Not sure on their names. And also the closing manager was there. They all went above and beyond for my issue and took care of me with a smile. I greatly appreciate all of their help from installing my battery which was hard, to calling another store to make sure my batter was in stock. My car battery died and I had to leave it in the parking garage at work overnight. I had to take some very expensive Lyft rides between Las Colinas and East Dallas to get home and back. The next day my boss gave me a jump and I drove to this AutoZone to get a new battery. The guy who helped me, an older dude named Alvin, was super helpful, gave me different options on batteries and did a very thorough job of installing the battery in my car for free. Took my battery in to see if it was the problem with my car not starting. Before being helped I saw an employee making a personal call while starting to assist a customer before politely telling the person he was on the phone with if he could call them back after work in front of the customer. I had them check my battery and was told that the battery was perfectly fine and it was probably the starter. Well I took it in the shop and was told it was the battery. Come to find out the battery (over 3 years old) was no good and only lasts for 2-3 years. Took it to a different autozone and they said the battery was dead and only had a 2 year warranty. The guy who originally helped us had a smart attitude and was of little help other than trying to make it seem like he knew more about cars than I did which I would think is already a given when I'm coming for help and just want my car to run. This was a big waste of my time and also made me lose a day of work because I ended up taking it to the shop thinking it was the starter when it could've been avoided if the kid actually took the time to inspect the battery. read more

I had an excellent experience at this location. Sangita and Jamel took very good care of me. They got my battery checked out, discovered it was bad (I went there straight after I'd gotten stranded at the store and had to get a boost) and immediately got me fixed up with a new one. They also helped me get new lift supports for my hood. They also did all the work of putting the new battery in and putting on the new lift supports. The customer service was fantastic and I'll definitely go back to them if I need something else. read more

Got a jump after my truck died and drove to the belt line location. After waiting in line and waiting for the other customers needing service I got finally got a battery check. The guy told me I needed an alternator which made no sense as we had driven the vehicle to the store and had no trouble leaving. Ended up taking the truck to a firestone where I was charged for a diagnostic revealing that it was in fact only the battery. If this is what you do for a living and you can't read codes on a machine that does the work for you...work at McDonalds and save the working public a headache. read more

Walk in and ask for an "engine light" check. Guy behind the counter asks for a moment because he is "counting down a register, and the other employee is helping another customer. I ask "what time do you close" he replies "ten." My thought is: it's 9:18pm why is it so important that you shut down your register at this moment," but I say nothing. 5 min later the other employee asks "who needs help" the guy counting down the register says "she needs an engine light check" the other employee walks directly to two other gentlemen and assists them.
