I brought my daughter's car in for a part replacement. From the start, their attitude was rude, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I paid upfront for the part they ordered, but they never communicated when it arrived--I had to keep calling just to get updates. After waiting 3-4 days, they finally received the part. I dropped the car off early in the morning as instructed and was promised same-day service. Again, no communication. I didn't get the car back until the following evening. Ruben claimed the car was safe to drive--even though my daughter has a baby she drives around with. Yet the car was still having issues. I took it to another shop for a second opinion, and they confirmed the exact same part still needed replacement. When I called Broadway Auto Repair about it, they refused to take responsibility and said I'd have to pay another labor fee for them to fix their mistake. This shop uses cheap parts, overcharges, and takes no accountability for their work. Erik offered no help whatsoever and insisted they weren't liable. What a joke. Save your time, money, and frustration--avoid this place at all costs. They are unprofessional, dishonest, and completely unreliable. You've been warned.

On October 23, 2018, we took our 2000 Jaguar XJR to T&K Automotive and Transmission Specialists…read more Our car was having difficulty shifting into the forward gears such as Drive, 1, 2, 3, etc. T&K offered a diagnostic inspection of all parts outside of the transmission for $69.95. After the inspection we were told the problem was with the transmission, not the shifting-related parts outside of the transmission. They replaced the transmission and we paid them another $2000, but the problem was not solved. The car was still difficult to shift. They again inspected the area outside the transmission (basically inspected the same area as they did the first time), and found a rusted "SHIFTING CABLE". Replacing the "SHIFTING CABLE" ($100 part we had to purchase since T&K couldn't find one) fixed the shifting problem. It turns out that the transmission was fine and did not require repair or replacement. Of course, we felt we should be refunded $2000 for the unnecessary replacement of the transmission. The owner was belligerent and said the transmission was part of the problem. Obviously it was not, since the "SHIFTING CABLE"replacement solved the shifting problem! We spoke with several transmission repair shops, including Jaguar, and were told that the "SHIFTING CABLE" would have been the first thing they would have checked for a shifting problem, not the transmission. We sincerely believe T&K was either incompetent or trying to gouge us. We are writing this review to hopefully spare other unsuspecting people the pain of dealing with similar problems where T&K Automotive and Transmission Specialists is concerned

I should have just went to Discount Tire and paid $20. I have had multiple TPMS sensors replaced and I have never paid anything close to what these guys charged me. I wanted to support the neighborhood small business, but their price was excessive. The tech also didn't program my sensors to the correct wheel location. I had to reprogram them when I got home. In addition to that, I have already made payment for said work. Do not get me wrong Jeff seems like a great guy to the fullest but, totally had no control over his time frame, he over promised and under delivered with out a doubt. The biggest downfall for me is when I am told that it would take less than one day and it ended up taking FOUR DAYS at the shop. Definitely not acceptable! Especially when I had to keep calling asking when my truck would be ready. The work that has been done so far was not partially done correctly. If I'm going to spend more than $4.000! here I expect a good job. Every time I call I get the runaround and it is frustrating. Below is the work that was done which took 4 Days: - New AMP boards which took 3Hr. - Remove Air lift kit which took them 1Hr. - Adding New Tires. N/A on time - Adding a Light strip at the tail gate. 1Hr. As Jeff is turning in the truck to me 4 Days later, I spotted the following: - AMP board wiring hanging underneath the truck. - Amp board wiring hanging underneath brake paddle. - Light strip un leveled and connected incorrectly. Below is the said work that was not complete: - They NEVER added the bump stops which Jeff said he would! - Light strip installed incorrectly! - Here is a funny one. I raised my concern about the issue regarding the light strip not being strait. Jeff literally gave me double sided tape to what apparently he expected me to fix it. Since after Four days at the shop wasn't long enough he said to me "Hold the tape and bring it in next time and I will fix the connection also" I'll tell you one thing. If I have to bring my truck back literally after a week at the shop even AFTER PAYING! That is bad business... Here is another funny one, I am still waiting on that call from Jeff or Mark. As told about 30 minutes is all it would take, over an hour later, they were finally done. Then the surprise bill came...$131.00, when I asked why so high, I was told that the truck takes 6.5 qts of oil - I pointed out I can buy all the supplies at Wal-Mart for under $40 and I pointed out the sign at the Frisco location. I was told they would price match the Frisco location, yet still charged me $68 Then they send me a report of required maintenance... They said my engine air filter was dirty and needed to be changed $34.99 - My truck has a reusable K&N filter that just needs to be clean. It even has a bold sticker on the cover stating this! Next, they stated that the cabin filter was dirty, and needed to be changed $49.99 - this filter was changed less than 30 days prior with an activated charcoal filter - not dirty. Next they stated the right front upper control arm (UCA) ball joint boot was crack/torn and they could change the UCA for only $610.99 UCA are not that expensive and it takes about 30 minutes. Yes, you need an alignment, but still... Next...They claimed the rear shocks were leaking and that would cost $472.99 to replace....give me a brake...you can buy a pair of high end Bilstein shock for less than $200 Then they suggested new spark plugs for ONLY $722.50 ! the plugs are $13 ea. Retail...so that's about $100 so what $622 labor!?!? Toyota doesn't recommend plug service till 100k miles (I'm at 77k) Then they wanted $217.99 to change the serpentine belt - I did it myself for $30, for a quality Gates belt and it to 30 minutes. Upon examination of the old one, there was not 1 crack. I took the truck to an independent shop for 2nd opinion, they could not fin 1 crack or tear in the ball joint boot. Also, the rear shocks were not leaking, the were covered in dirt from driving, so when the truck was lifted, it exposed the clean upper part. If you have no idea what you're doing I guess you might think it's leaking - or if you think the customer has no idea, you can take advantage of them. I sent in my requested feedback - they never reached back out to me. I can't speak about other locations, but stay as far away from this one as you can - as I said they are either INCOMPETENT OR DISHONEST!
