So, here I am with a satisfied review. I needed my steering knuckles and bushings replaced. While Rob and the crew were working on that, they realized that I needed a brand new axle. I had no way of getting the part myself, so Rob ordered it and put it on for me. I thought I was going to have to wait another day for my only mode of transportation but luckily, thanks to Rob, I didn't. Being a disabled person is very challenging but with Rob and his handy dandy crew members, they definitely make our lives increasingly better. They offered to bring me back home while they worked on my car, so that I wouldn't have to sit at the shop for too long, which would cause my excruciating fibromyalgia pains to flare up and lots of discomfort. Came here as a recommendation from a friend. I have a 2020 Honda that needed servicing and they were almost positive they could fix my brake issue. I was completely wrong. After completion they said they drove it around and no service lights were coming on. I drove my car a few miles and then all the service lights came on while I was in the highway. The customer service here is friendly and the prices are indeed fair but I'm not too sure how knowledgeable they are in regards to repairing cars . Now my car has more problems than before and I am in more expense . Very unfortunate situation . Probably a good place for minor issues . read more

OIL CHANGE SCAM I asked and paid for full synthetic. Got my car back and it says "Blend." Asked about it, she says the mechanic just wrote the wrong type of oil and that she usually writes the sticker. Funny cuz the mechanic did the job, right? He doesn't know what oil he uses? She just takes the sticker off and write a new sticker that says "synthetic" and puts it on. The mechanic also did not put on my splash guard right so it dragged on the highway and ripped off. They said they will be replacing it and will call me when the order is in to make an appt. After two months, with several calls and text messages, it's never in and messages are now just ignored. Now there is an additional expense I have to spend. read more

Went in for oil change/inspection (Groupon) on a Friday, for my grandfather's truck that isn't used often. I mention he drove it 3K miles in 9 nine years so just use conventional oil, we laughed. Afterwards, Rob says that more oil came out of the oil filter than the oil pan when he changed the oil. I mention no warning lights came on. The following Monday, the truck starts to give a check engine light and misfire on a couple of cylinders, so I take it back thinking the recent refueling could of stirred up some sediment and clogged an injector or something. The other mechanic inspects the truck, calls to discuss with Rob possibly issues, which they conclude since the oil is above full and the coolant is low, the engine must have a crack and will need to be replaced. I ask questions since it doesn't make sense to me, like why it hadn't overheated or produced more smoke. (I had recently had a car with a faulty head gasket that produced those symptoms) He points to his girlfriend's car there in the shop saying none of those symptoms had happen with her car but the head gasket needed to be replaced. Being a layman I trust he is right. Panic and anxiety sets in as to how I'm going to break the news to my grandfather about the diagnosis and how am I going to pay or help pay for the repairs. I have it towed to a local shop to begin the process of repairs or at the least getting it to run a little smoother until I can gather funds or get approved for credit. They begin by draining the fluids including the oil and realize that although it was gunked up by the drain plug, the truck had 10 qts of oil. Once drained and replaced with the appropriate amount of oil, the problems were fixed. The scenarios here are either Rob didn't check the levels after he changed the oil, or did and ignored the overfill or just overfilled the truck by 4 qts and called it a day. The relief was welcomed but the amount of stress and anxiety caused from these two separate mechanic's misdiagnosis is infuriating and damages trust in local mechanics as well as those at dealerships. read more

Great experience visiting Rob and Son's garage today. I brought my car in for an oil change and state inspection, and was out the door in 45 minutes. Rob was very considerate and professional, something you don't see in a lot of mechanics. The price was very reasonable, and he didn't try to up-sell me on anything which was much appreciated. Went for a simple brake pad replacement on my 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Crossover. First time getting a brake pad replacement on front end. Had the rotors checked by a different mechanic who did not have time that day and who was charging more. A lady in that mechanic shop referred me to Rob and son. Why. Got the brake pad replacement and the passenger front side has no noise. The driver front side sounds like a horn. So took it back per the guy with the small twists. He looked at it and said it was debris further advising that he cleaned all the dust and it filled up his whole garage and advised that must've been the problem. I was like ooooohk. Also advised he didn't hear the noise. Well he went back to put the tire back on and came back saying he heard the noise. He advised it was bc the clip that held the brake pad in place was not secured and rubbing against something. And that he fixed it. This was the 2nd time there. Also tried to say before that that it could be the rotor. I told him I already had my rotors checked. He said well u just can't look at it. Like I'm dumb or stupid. I literally had another mechanic check my rotors properly. Left and hear the noise again. Just going to eat this charge bc why would i take it a 3rd time. Can't even change a brake pad properly and then tried to insult MY INTELLIGENCE. I wouldn't let them change the brakes on a bicycle. My thing is you fucked the shit up so take accountability and don't try to tell someone what it could be when everything was checked hence the reason I requested a simple brake pad replacement. read more

They were so wonderful!! First thing, I sprayed my car with Febreze cuz I didn't want anyone to gag from the smoke smell. The lady was so grateful for that. I went in to have my brakes done. I heard scraping, so figured it was time. After a few minutes, they told me my brakes were fine and that there was a piece of metal that was bent making the scraping noise. They didn't charge me anything for taking up their valuable time or drinking their water or eating the chips. Lol. They were just pleasant, they bent the metal back and put my van back together free of charge. What wonderful people!!! I'll be back. read more
