Not to mention they don't take outside financing, but when I called my credit union afterwards they told me it's just a lie they say to make more money and I got it refinanced in a month.They told me I have to wait 3 months to refinance go go, bro Then when everything was said and done they gave me the car with the gas almost empty I asked why they don't fill it up and he told me it's standard to only fill it up 5 gallons even though my cousin and uncle has previously bought from them and they filled up his tank.

Don't know they guys name and didn't care after the way he acted the way he did when I questioned the low bid on my vehicle. He said there was hail damage on it and there obviously wasn't. I took the sales rep and manager there to show them. Regardless we left happy. Long story short the wife is loving the new vehicle and I couldn't have asked for a better team than Mo and Chris. The dealer where I was getting the car I wanted (I'll just say it - Audi Plano!?#$% Avoid them at all costs if you want a FAIR deal) they offered me a RIDICULOUSLY below average amount - what KBB suggested. I walked out frustrated and tired physically and mentally. Thank God I noticed Carmax nearby and thought Why Not? I walked in, there was very much a dmv feel to it Lots of people, sitting everywhere, lot's of traffic in and out. There was a monitor with peoples names/appointment times at the front desk. I thought, wow how am I going to get an appraisal on a weekend with all these people? When it was my turn the guy was very nice and said no problem, we can do that for you and he re-directed me to the business window which was nearby. I was still skeptical and cranky given what I had been through at another dealership. Business desk had a lot going on too, but they seemed to be in good spirits with each other and the people who approached them! Complete opposite from previous dealer. I was greeted by Micah (sp?) who was seemed relaxed despite the busyness, she told me how appraisals worked in a matter of fact way, when I hesitantly asked how long all this would take, she quickly said it should be no more than 30 mins with a confident smile. I was still skeptical but refused to give away my car for the measly amount the other dealer offered me. Well, I went to the bathroom, people watched and yeah about 30 mins later, she came back with my appraisal quote! way more than MORE than what the stingy dealer down the street was offering me and ABOVE KBB !! If I didn't want the other car so bad at A/P, I would've gladly told them to touch grass! But unfortunately they had what I needed. I would have felt much better to have bought from Carmax, everyone I encountered there was friendly, professional and got things done in a great amount of time! I want to thank Micah again for being so patient with me and explaining things while I was under great personal stress and timelines as well (death in the family, trade in car papers expiring etc). The associates are always polite and helpful and my experiences are quick and easy. And I swear there is never a line, lol! I haven't opened an account with them yet but they have all types of incentives for their members, so maybe one day... Also, one day I concerned the people at the bank because I sat in my car (working from my phone) for about 45 mins and the associate came out and tapped on my window to check on me! User name was rejected, they say they will clear that. Today I got all the way to user name and password but showed my phone number as wrong, which an Agent named Anika, from presidents office noticed but never corrected. Now my first payment is due in 5/12 and they can't correct my phone number for 7 to 12 days ( past my due date). Anika from so called Presidents office gave me her private phone number with Ext. O to directly reach her. It was total B.S.; the number put me through their boiler room of agents who don't speak clear English. Capital One Finance is a Cluster F##ck of incompetent employees and you have to tell the AUTOMATED SYSTEM requesting AGENT several times before you're connected to an agent (never same one) with terrible English. I have a credit card with Capital One for 10 years and have no complaints-very professional. I recommend finding your own finance company and be pre approved before dealing with Capital One before purchasing car. Even though my contract was changed within 24 hours on 5/1/26, the change has not been rectified and when I thought all was resolved, their site shut me out to create account for auto-payments simply because they wrote down wrong phone number. Always had good service, paid off my car early and received a EPO refund check in the mail however…read morethe post office lost it for a few months and by the time I received it the check was past the 180 days date. Called the 800 number and spoke with a very nice man who was able to arrange for the check to be reissued. Only hard part was getting past the automated system to a live person. Once I did the call was completed in less than 10 minutes and now I am just awaiting the new check to arrive. Yes, I recommend Capital One Auto Financing.
