Our paperwork failed to be completed with DMV until 3 months later and we're ticketed for the vehicle that we turned in meaning they did not file the title change with DMV so tickets are coming under our names. We've returned to the dealership time and time again and only getting a response that they will get to it. The last time we went in, the manager showed a sleuth of tickets customers submitted to them that they have not taken care of which continue to go to the original owners of vehicles that have been turned into the dealer. TL:DR This place is full of scammers. Stay far away. Went to look at a Subaru STI. Issues galore. They took strategic photos to hide paint issues. Wouldn't let me get on the freeway to test the turbo, even after I noticed there was something wrong when I hit 4000 RPMs. Noticed loose components in the engine bay, but the sales rep refused to have a tech look at it. As an at home car mechanic, I knew it would take about 10 grand to fix this car. I offered them six grand below what they were asking, but still above bluebook. The sales rep did everything short of laughing in my face. They didn't even replace the correct windshield! They would rather save $50 by putting a non wiper deicer windshield on than put the correct equipment on the car. A rare color, in terrible condition, does not excuse thousands of dollars worth of repair. I hoped this was just an issue with this car, but they were trying to do it to another customer with another vehicle. While I was there, someone else was looking at a Nissan. They put fake parts on the car to make it look like it was a higher trim package. Luckily the other customer was an ASE Certified tech, and he called them out too. I wish I could have truly experienced this "great service" everyone talks about in their reviews. I was interested in a vehicle, with payment in hand and my brother with me to bring my car back home. Granted, I traveled over 50 minutes to get to this dealership. I called prior to ensure the vehicle is still available. This is a mom-and-pop used car dealership, always glad to support small businesses, but after my experience, I can see why salesmen have bad reputations. The guy who walked up to me wouldn't let me test drive the vehicle and wanted to talk numbers right away. It's a used car, numbers can change once I visually inspect the vehicle inside and out, go for a test drive, etc. But seems like they try to avoid test drives. Which seems a bit sketchy. Recent review stated, their car broke down with less than 10k miles on it. Another review about a year ago stated, they salesman wouldn't let them take the car for a test drive on the freeway. Wonder how this dealer does business. Granted I know the pandemic has really shaken up the market, but it's a shame to take advantage of clients with outrageous prices. Alberto was the most unprofessional businessman I have ever encountered. After a test drive, I went to wait in my car while my husband and him talked about a vehicle we were interested in. I started to hear the two exchanging words through my rolled up windows. I quickly realized the two were very heated and angry. So I stepped out, got in the middle of them, and asked, "What's going on!?", trying to de-escalate the situation. Alberto then started coming at my throat, arguing with me. Of course, if I'm getting disrespected, Im going to come back at you with the same energy. So now, not only is he arguing with my husband, but he's now arguing with me, a woman, while using foul and insulting language. All because my husband was trying to make small talk and expressed his love for a different year of the vehicle we test drove. For whatever reason, he copped an attitude and rudely told my husband "I shouldn't have let you test drive the car." After my husband questioned why he's rudely making a comment like that, he just became very loud, argumentative, and arrogant. A true professional would never act like this. A professional would never curse at their customers and follow them as they try to walk away. Put your ego aside, Alberto. Your attitude and the way you came after my husband, then me, was wrong. You tried to defend yourself by saying my husband was cursing at you, but you were doing it right back. You are very hypocritical and need to reevaluate your customer service skills. read more

I went with my partner to look at a 2013 Chevy Camaro zl1 they got on the lot and when we were approached by the sales guy, he was very rude and cocky saying how if we were going to buy the car because he already has a buyer coming in tomorrow to purchase the car. Which is fine not a problem. He kept saying that it was rare and that many people keep calling for it and they want to buy it. Wires were cut from the engine bay, scratches on the carbon hood. He didn't even ask us if we wanted further information or if there was anything that he can help financially. He made us feel like if we were dumb not knowing anything about the car. I personally own the same vehicle and we were in to purchase it for my partner we had everything in hand ready to make a deal but the sales guy kept persisting he needs to sell it. That's fine not a problem there are many other places that are willing to help us in purchasing a camaro zl1 so it's his big mistake. I won't go further into detail but be prepared for the sales people to pester you with their cocky attitude and pestering phone calls on how they need to sell the car. I sincerely thought I had made a good choice with this dealer but in all honesty if I could go back I would take my business elsewhere. I originally made a post only for exchange of gas money. This is my honest review and experience with Auto Race. I should have believed and trusted the negative reviews the place had. This dealer obviously doesn't care about their customers. All they care about is getting the cars off of their lot! Prior to purchasing my vehicle I made an appointment to go in and test drive my SUV. I made the appointment on a Thursday for the following Sunday since I live 2.5 hours away. When I got there at the time of my appointment the SUV was not even on the lot. They said it was getting a wash. During the test drive I noticed that the SUV had a smell and the tire valve stem cap was in the cup holder. I checked the tires and the back two tires were pretty beat up. The sales man said they would get new tires and even a detail. He then sent us in to sign the paperwork. We drove home and the next couple of days the sensor kept saying the air pressure was low, so I took it to the shop thinking I had a nail or something. The shop said it had already been patched and if they re-patched it the tire was still going to keep going flat. The shop recommended me to get a new tire for my safety. Afterwards I called Auto Race and they said they would speak with their boss and would get back to me about the tires. Here I am with a flat and no response for a week. I then call again and asked if there was an update and they said for me to send them the tire size. I sent the information over and still with no update. This dealer is about a 2.5 hr drive from me, so I did mention if they could ship the tires to me or just reimburse me for the two back tires. For another week or two no response and no update. Then we finally get a call but it's not even about the tires, it's the salesman asking if we could get the SUV a smog check done because they needed the smog certificate and they would ZELLE me that money back. The salesman told us "we need you to get that done as soon as possible, today or tomorrow". We commented that the tire was flat and no one had reached out or updated us on the tires situation. The salesman replied "we will worry about that later, just get the smog done". We figured we were not going to get a response back about the tires and just purchased the new tires ourselves and got the smog done because at this point we just want nothing to do with this dealer. We sent over the receipt of the smog, since they said they would just ZELLE us for it. For those of you that use ZELLE, you know that it takes 2 minutes max and the other person will instantly get a notification that money was sent to them. Bottom line is I paid for the tires, I paid for the smog, and I'm going to have to pay for the detailing hoping the smell will go away. If I would have known all this was going to be coming out of my pocket I wouldn't have given the amount of money I gave for the down payment or probably not even purchase the SUV. I get that they are busy but a simple txt, email Or phone call would have been nice, I've had better customer service from scam callers.
