I know my way around cars especially the e46 model of BMW's. Since moving to Texas and being in an apartment without a garage; I am limited on what I can do with regards to jacking up a car or putting it on ramps. So when my power steering pump went out I brought it to them. The labor was reasonable but they did push all the factory parts. So a decent Power Steering pump that might have been $220 for a 16 year old car with 192k vs the $450 factory part they put in. I really hope I get another 100k to 125k out of the car but its hard to say. Just stating the facts when it comes to the age and mileage for factory parts vs OEM and third party ones. But overall, I wasn't pushed into unnecessary work or given b.s. with their recommendations. It is the cost of doing business and I felt Alex and company were fair. read more

I wouldn't recommend anyone go here. I went in twice for the same issue - engine dying at idle, poor throttle response, and misc related engine issues. Each time I paid over $400 but the issue didn't get any better, each time the car was dying again the next day. After I figured out that the tech mistyped several of the engine error codes on the repair log, it seemed that the obvious cause was a dirty throttle body. I spent $5 for some solvent and cleaned it myself (with no prior experience at all with cars, mind you). This only took 15-20 minutes and instantly fixed all my issues. Would you rather spend $800 for nothing or $5 and 15 minutes of your time resulting in the issue actually being resolved? Another example - I had them refill my AC refrigerant for a nice $190 total. After this issue came up again, I did it myself for $4.88 and again maybe 15 minutes of my time, absolutely no skill involved. Additionally, they never bothered telling me that my air filter housing had a hole gouged in it about half the size of the entire housing in addition to holes drilled in the intake hose. To their credit they did say that there were "screw driver holes" in some type of manifold, but the problem was much larger than some screwdriver holes and the part was not a manifold. They also never mentioned that 3 parts of the intake system were completely missing as well. All of these things should have tipped them off as to the source of the problem. Honestly I feel like they just replaced parts that they thought would have any possible chance of affecting the problem rather than trying the cheap, fast, easy (and frankly obvious) solutions first. read more

This shop came recommend and was referred to me by someone I used for dent repair. Alex was professional and very accommodating. I took my E500 in for an oil change and a brake check. I also had a small oil leak but forgot to mention it. Alex gave me a loaner vehicle. He called me a few hours later to inform me my brakes were fine. I took my CLK430 in for the A Service. I was surprised to find out that 2 of my spark plugs had corroded connecting wires and were not firing. Was looking for a good auto shop thats familiar with Jags and first impression wasnt that great. No one picked up the phone and theres was absolutely no one in the front lobby. I had to wait at least 5 min for a mechanic to finally pop in and still i was ignored until i initiated the question of well "can i get some help here". Definitely no customer service or genuine attitudes there. Long story short this place will waste your time and over charge for simple things like oil changes. $185 for service of liquid moly oil change on a Jaguar XF, I saved $40 at Eurosport Autos.
