I had the opportunity to drive in heavy rain this week on Highway 2. Passing semi's always gave me pause, even in the SUV. With the coating the water ran off the windshield faster than the wipers moved. Not once did I have to speed up the wipers to see. Once I got home and drove it for a couple days, my sensors came on telling me there was a problem. Assuming it was not window related, I took the truck to my Chev dealer. I was told that the unit on the windshield was installed incorrectly and had to be redone. My bill from the Chev dealer was over $300, more than the window replacement. After sending in the bill and notifying them 5 times, all I get is we'll get back to you. Done with them. Do not deal with a company that does not back up their work.
