Things didn't get off to a good start as I was initially told I could just drop in, then when I dropped in the front counter lady told me I had to make an appointment. So, I made an appointment for the next week. After that it got much better. The windshield looks fantastic, it's nice to drive without looking at cracks in my windshield which I've had since I bought it 10 years ago. They had a couple of cancellations so they had the job done in just over an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. Their waiting area has free coffee and water and they pull your car back around to the front for you if there's a parking space free so chances are you won't have to walk to the back unless they're super busy. He must have worked at another place, because every time he did something like check the tires, wipe the windshield, he kept saying " and that's another $5.. " . I sat in the car laughing while he kept doing his tasks. " You know it will cost you $10 for us to lower your hood ". I loved his sense of humor. It was winter, so I agreed. They indicated they would need the truck for a minimum of two hours. I took a cab home and as it dropped me off , they called indicating it was done. 15 minutes. So I called another cab and returned to the shop. Cabs cost me $50 and I would have waited at the shop if they had been accurate with their estimate. Irritating and costly. Three years later today, I hear wind noise in the cab and discover the window latch has failed and my window is flapping free. I never opened the window. So I call there, they tell me to bring it over, which I do. There response is: this is not covered by warranty. Avoid the North Edmonton Crystal Glass unless you enjoy bad customer service.
