It was winter, so I agreed. They indicated they would need the truck for a minimum of two hours. I took a cab home and as it dropped me off , they called indicating it was done. 15 minutes. So I called another cab and returned to the shop. Cabs cost me $50 and I would have waited at the shop if they had been accurate with their estimate. Irritating and costly. Three years later today, I hear wind noise in the cab and discover the window latch has failed and my window is flapping free. I never opened the window. So I call there, they tell me to bring it over, which I do. There response is: this is not covered by warranty. Avoid the North Edmonton Crystal Glass unless you enjoy bad customer service.

I've been buying car audio for over 30 years. there was a long wait to get my equipment installed…read moreat my usual place, so after contacting Dancy audio installactions he was able to fit me in next day. I went and met the owner who seemed like a decent enough person. I dropped my vehicle off the next morning and waited for the call to pick my vehicle up. when I got into my vehicle it sounded like a tin can. not only no bass, but actually zero midrange at all. I had very decent equipment installed, and knew it should sound better than it did. I simply didn't want to drive the vehicle it sounded so bad. I contacted the owner again and he said to drop the vehicle off and he would fix it. I felt bad for him and tipped him $100 just to compensate him for a bit of his time even though it was his screw up. fast forward a few weeks... I couldn't deal with how bad it sounded, so I contacted a reputable shop, and took my vehicle in. they had to completely redo everything. i actually sat in the shop with the installer as he was working on it. I can verify with my own eyes all the screw ups. 4 out of 6 speakers out of phase, very loose ground wires, power cables and speaker cables bunched together creating a whining sound through the speakers, crossovers we're just laying in kick panels... the list goes on. I don't have many regrets in life, but having Dancy doing my install, or having Dancy do anything on my vehicle is one of them. steer clear of this hackjob of a shop. this guy evidently has no clue what he's doing or just doesn't care. consider yourself warned...

The manager tried blaming the manufacturer but discussing with the manufacturer parts person and another mechanic shop, all said it would be the fault of the mechanic doing the oil change.

Once I got home and drove it for a couple days, my sensors came on telling me there was a problem. Assuming it was not window related, I took the truck to my Chev dealer. I was told that the unit on the windshield was installed incorrectly and had to be redone. My bill from the Chev dealer was over $300, more than the window replacement. After sending in the bill and notifying them 5 times, all I get is we'll get back to you. Done with them. Do not deal with a company that does not back up their work.
