I had the opportunity to drive in heavy rain this week on Highway 2. Passing semi's always gave me pause, even in the SUV. With the coating the water ran off the windshield faster than the wipers moved. Not once did I have to speed up the wipers to see. I call that a huge improvement to driving experience when the weather is inclement. I am actually looking forward to seeing how it performs in the 4th season (which I will not mention for risk of calling the spirits of frozen things). Things didn't get off to a good start as I was initially told I could just drop in, then when I dropped in the front counter lady told me I had to make an appointment. So, I made an appointment for the next week. After that it got much better. The windshield looks fantastic, it's nice to drive without looking at cracks in my windshield which I've had since I bought it 10 years ago. They had a couple of cancellations so they had the job done in just over an hour, which was a pleasant surprise. Their waiting area has free coffee and water and they pull your car back around to the front for you if there's a parking space free so chances are you won't have to walk to the back unless they're super busy.
