Lube City did just what I asked.. an oil change. No checking the transmission fluid and push to have it flushed ( as some companies do and push to change it when it is not necessary ). In other words.. do not upsell me on something that will not be needed . The service was very quick and the staff were great. Actually the guy I was talking to had a wicked sense of humor.. which is what I really like. He must have worked at another place, because every time he did something like check the tires, wipe the windshield, he kept saying " and that's another $5.. " . I sat in the car laughing while he kept doing his tasks. " You know it will cost you $10 for us to lower your hood ". I loved his sense of humor. Overall, I paid a bit over $100 for the service and will be definitely coming back to get the oil changes done. Finally, a place that wont gouge you for every dollar you got.

After 4 days they said they dont know what the problem is, but for a extra 200 they could put some piece in my catalatic converter of for 500 change it. My issue was an engine problem it was shaking when i drove it. It had nothing to do with the catalytic converter. it wasnt getting compression. The mechanic didn't even speak english. I dont know if they even did the work i paid for. I took it to another mechanic who is Caucasian and he told me it wasn't getting compression as the valves weren't opening fully and there is build up of carbon in the engine. He didnt even charge me for a diagnostic. Which took him a few hours to complete. I will never go to Deans again. I paid hard earned money and still got screwed over.

I've gone in a few times and been turned away as my oil wasn't dirty enough to change just yet ( a dealership would never - which is why i never go there). Most recently though, I was touched by the genuine care offered by Jason. I had just brought my car home from the shop and she was leaking oil. Obviously I was freaking out and stressed so I called Jiffy to see if they could take a look and Jason answered the phone and gave me a very enthusiastic, " Of course we can!" and I just about cried hahahaha aaaaahh this might seem like a small gesture of service, but to have someone answer the phone and greet you with authentic care is unparalleled customer service. More than 3 hours for just tire change!…read more I waited one month for my booked appointment and ordered 4 new steel rims few days prior to my appointment. I showed up and was advised that I might need tire alignment and I agreed. Informed that it would take 2 hours for the tire change and alignment. After 2hrs, I went back to the centre to check if my car is ready. I saw my car outside the centre and noticed my original rims are still on. I asked myself, so it's done, why they did not call or send text? Since there was only 2 staff in front, I waited for few more minutes. When it was my turn, I was told that they have not done the alignment and it would take extra 30mins. They gave me the option to skip the alignment and I agreed. So I just paid the tire change and 4 new steel rims, a total of $688.80! I went to my car and as expected, my original rims are installed on my winter tires. Checked my summer tires inside the car, hoping they just made a mistake of putting the new steel rims on my summer tires. Surprisingly, NO new steel rims!!! I paid for those new rims right?!!! I went back to the centre and informed them about it. The agent was surprised as well and she went to check with the other staff inside the workshop. Apparently they forgot to installed the new steel rims. I was informed that they can do it in a matter of less 30mins and again, I agreed because I do not want to reschedule and miss my work again! After few more minutes, another staff came to me and said, "there is another problem". The rims they've ordered was incorrect ... what? really?!!! They've offered to reschedule and even going to give discount on my next appointment. But I turned it down and just asked for my refund. They gave me a $50 discount for the messed up. What a joke!
