Affordable! Friendly! Quality service is not common. Had the Aquapel nano coating reapplied and it makes SUCH a difference with rain and snow I now can't live without it. Highly recommend for all vehicles. Phil replaced my rear glass last year ( small emergency with amazing same-day replacement after a garage door failed to announce itself on the parking sensor - DOH!) is still looking awesome. read more

On a recent trip to Calgary my Subaru picked up a rather large stone kicked up by a truck. It didn't seem to be an issue but with the spring warm/cool days a crack formed over half the windscreen. I normally went to Crystal but they aren't the most friendly. I looked up Crackmasters and saw glowing reviews. This was utterly painless - I drove up and Philip came out. He grabbed the keys and told me he'd text in a couple hours or so. It was done a bit earlier and picking up was just as painless. The service was good, the workmanship appears excellent. I hope I don't have to visit anytime soon but if I do I'll be happy to come back. read more

After a relatively short crack on my windshield suddenly decided to span the entire thing, I immediately started looking for a replacement. After weighing some options, I opted to take my vehicle here. I was able to get in quickly - only having to push my appointment because of my own schedule. Phil greeted me upon my arrival and got my vehicle in right away. All-in-all, the replacement took about 90 minutes, and I was on my way. My last installation had a couple of issues that I just learned to live with, but this one has been pristine. Definitely delivered and I'm more than happy with the results! read more

This place by far has the best prices and they didn't make me Wait days to have it replaced. Staff are friendly and also gave me a couple of recommendations for a place to eat while I waited. Save your money and time and just go here. I saved about $180 that's money for my tummy!! read more

Got a new used car so I had to replace the windshield. The day before my appointment my car didn't start so I called and moved my appointment back a week no problem no fee. Came in fixed in under 2 hours. Helped me replace my licence plate as well and put anti-rust paint on the screws. Super friendly, very dad like. 10/10 service. read more

Crackmasters Windshield Repair and Replacement - Toys and colouring stuff for kids! - Windshield Installation & Repair Near Me - Edmonton, Alberta

Can't believe I have not reviewed Crackmasters West before! I found this shop via Twitter when I tweeted out that I needed a new windshield. Owner, Phil Hawkswell messaged me back within 5 mins, talk about making a great first impression! I booked my car in for a few days later, I was delighted to learn the location was a few blocks from my office. It was convenient & easy for me to drop off & pick up. Phil & his team installed my windshield in a few hours & I was good to go. A bonus for customers when you get a new windshield installed is that you receive free rock chip repair in the first 3 months after your install! I really appreciated that they carry the pink autotex windshield wiper blades, which a portion of proceeds support Breast Cancer Foundation. They are hard to find & I was ecstatic that I could get everything done in one place @ Crackmasters West! The shop hours are great for any type of work schedule, plus open on Saturdays! Phil is very accommodating to clients needs, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND you call him for all your windshield repairs & auto glass replacement! Support awesome local businesses like Crackmasters West! read more

CRACKMASTERS - WEST EDMONTON!! YOU ARE AWESOME!! I was less than impressed this morning when this little chip in my windshield became a long crack all of a sudden! I heard it and then it streaked across! AARGH! I let out some words... Through some searching, I came upon Crackmasters. I was actually on another's review when someone who reviewed the other company said they wished they had gone to Crackmasters...so, I called Philip in the west location. He had a drive-in day today so he got me in right at lunch. Right away, he put me at ease - he is kind, soft-spoken, and explains everything he is going to do. He asked me to enjoy the waiting room, which had his own wifi, while they worked on it. He said 40 minutes but I swear they were done in 25-30. He brought me into the bay and showed me exactly what they did, what I could expect, and gave me some great advice as well. All in all, even though it's one of the woes of driving, I feel that Philip is a terrific person to know who takes care and pride in helping his community out as he runs his business. (Also a portion of the transaction was donated to Meals On Meals!) What a guy! read more

Called for a quote this morning on my wife's rear door glass. I myself use to work in the glass industry auto and commercial. The man on the other side of the phone was nothing short of rude, not to mention he even attempted to call back to gain my services. I think not. Crackmaster you suck, I will never be looking directions for even a quote. Maybe acquire some proper customer service if you're going to be running a business that comes in contact with customers through the work day. If I could do negative stars I would. read more

Easy experience right from booking my appointment to choosing my service and picking up my vehicle.

After having poor experiences at other windshield repair shops, I decided to try this Crackmasters location. I originally found out about them from Instagram and then read the other yelp reviews before deciding to give them a try...and I am very glad I did! I went in with a long windshield crack, expecting them to say they couldn't fix it, but Phil was so friendly and said they could definitely fix it. He even said they could fit me in that day or first thing the next morning, as he understood it was time sensitive in case it cracked more! They also have free wifi and Netflix while you wait...though it didn't take long at all. Overall a great experience and I would recommend this Crackmasters location to anyone. read more

Based on the positive reviews on Yelp, I gave this business a try last November to fix the rock chip damage on my windshield. Although it's likely can save a few dollars with a Groupon, the extra $10 or so you spent really translates into the exceptional customer service you get. Phil and his staff are knowledgeable and patiently answered all of my questions. I didn't feel pressured into buying products I didn't need and received very straightforward advice. Eventually, in the next two or three years when I need to replace my windshield, I would trust the work of Phil and team. read more

They provide quick service when you have an issue, same day. So we took our truck in that had the passenger window broken. It took much longer than we'd been quoted by others but we weren't in a hurry and were comfortable in the waiting area. We found out a while later they were indeed having issues with the trucks door. 1 & 1/2 hrs later the new window is installed and we are asked to check that things work on the way out. Not even a week later the window no longer goes up and down. They again open up the door but say the wiring is too loose so it's the manufacturers problem. They won't answer questions about it and they refuse to accept they are the only ones who have worked in this window. There are much older vehicles that don't have windows taped up due to this. read more

Absolutely wonderful! Quick appointment made through Yelp the night before and my car had a shiny new windshield by the next afternoon. I dig this place read more

If you want honest and won't break the bank... stop in here ! They are fast, courteous and top of the line crack masters !!

The best windshield repair I have ever experienced. Their windshield replacement prices were at least a hundred dollars cheaper because Phil accurately reports the labour hours. Not only is Phil a friendly professional guy but you can tell he is careful and precise with his work as he even cuts the receipt in half with a pair of scissors instead of ripping it like pretty much everyone else does. read more

These guys are fantastic. When it comes to customer service and quality, I don't think I've ever experienced any where better. I have been here twice to replace the windshield and I have not been disappointed. A+ service read more

Excellent customer service from the booking through to the installation. The shop and the waiting area were very clean and my car was returned vacuumed and cleaned. The service received here is not often seen today. I recommend coming here for your next windshield replacement. read more

In need of a new windshield, I scrolled through the Internet and Yelp. Crackmasters and the owner, Phil had many good reviews so I contacted him for a quote. Very prompt response from Phil, who worked up two quotes on my windshield - one for plain replacement and one for replacement with rain sensing ability. I easily booked an appointment via email and the completed replacement was done with excellent workmanship. Phil gave clear instruction on things to do/avoid to ensure the new windshield set completely. And a 90 day chip repair post-install. Plus they cleaned up the front area inside my car - dash, floors, seats - so no dust or debris was noted. I highly recommend checking out this location for your windshield repairs/replacements! read more

I dropped by just before closing time and I thought I'd just get a quick quote for a rock chip in my windshield of my brand new vehicle, and come back another day. Phil told me to bring it in and he'd get it done right away. These are the nicest guys you could meet and I really appreciated the fast friendly service. Not only did they fix the chip, but they cleaned all the windows and sensors too and had me on my way in no time. I am definitely hoping for no more rock chips on my new SUV, but if I do I'm going nowhere else other than Crackmasters. read more
