My wife was driving on 35 from Georgetown to Temple last week when she entered the construction zone. A rock came up and chipped the windshield. I've had a chip and crack on a windshield before and the insurance said it had to be replaced. Due to my deductible, I had to pay for everything out of pocket. I just happened to be on my employer's employee incentive page and saw Eric's information and decided to give him a call. When I called and explained the situation, Eric walked me through what would happen and gave me the option to pay out of pocket or go through my insurance. Found Eric's website after I was told by another glass repair company that I would "need a new windshield" because of a rock chip that turned into a 12" long crack. Eric called me right back after I left a message for him and had me send over a picture of the damage see he could take a look. Said it was easily fixable and I was able to schedule a time within a few days of us talking. Eric showed up on time and had the repair done within about half and hour. Looks a lot better! The crack, while still visible in some areas (which is to be expected), has been stopped in its tracks from spreading any further. Happy to know I saved my windshield from total replacement. I had a rock chip in my windshield so I searched on yelp for repair companies and this company received so many good reviews I didn't even look at other companies. I spoke to Eric on the phone and booked an appointment, he explained cost and process on the phone. On the day of the appointment he called a few hours prior to confirm time and address. Was bummed to get a small but noticeable rock chip on my otherwise unblemished windshield. Emailed Auto Glass Rescue and requested Eric after seeing such positive reviews about him. He responded back with a quote very quickly and let me know of an afternoon opening he had the SAME DAY. I made the appt. for him to come out to where I work and he called when he was about to head my way. When we met he explained what he would be doing and asked if I had any questions. When he finished the repair, he asked me to point out where the chip/crack had been and I couldn't pinpoint it even though I had stared at it for 2 days! It was like it had never been damaged!
