Only giving them 2 stars because they kept their appts with me...otherwise, would not use them again. I live in Glendale, AZ. I originally called this company last August for a total windshield replacement because I got hit by a decently sized pebble on the freeway. This company was quick to set an appointment and didn't cancel it. The man who came, was not dressed in professional clothing, which was a little disconcerting, but he was nice and did a clean job. I was told that this came with a warranty... I was given no guidelines or exceptions. So naturally, I assumed that anything would be covered for the next year. My windshield recently started cracking for no reason. Within 2 days, it ran from the top of windshield, all the way to within 3 inches of the bottom. I inspected the glass for a rock crack or something, and found nothing. So I called to make an appointment, since it has not even been one year, and the lady told me that they would only cover a replacement for a stress crack - whatever that was - and nothing else. Great. Should have known then that they wouldn't be covering my replacement. She sent someone out to take a look to determine whether or not it was a stress a crack. I let her know that my address had changed and gave her the new address. In fact, when she asked to verify my address, I said, "oh I'm so glad you asked because I'm actually at a different address now!" They gave me an 8-noon window. The tech called at 11:42 and said he would arrive by noon. No problem. A few minutes later, he called and said, "for some reason, my gps is now saying I'm 32 minutes away." ....ok...fine. 30 minutes later, he calls and says, "I'm at your door knocking." I opened the door and no one was there. He was at the previous address. I told him I could come to him, it was only an 8 minute drive, but he took my new address annoyed and said he'd be there shortly. FORTY minutes later, he finally showed up. It was 1pm. He was rude. No greeting. Just got out of his truck and said, "WOW...wrong address, huh??" So I said, "hi, how are you today? Yes, you guys failed to change my address." He stomped over to my car, pointed to an invisible "impact point" in my GIANT windshield crack and said, "you were hit by a rock. Do you have insurance?" And then let me know their warranty wouldn't cover it. No, I was not hit by a rock. It's literally split at the top of the windshield. In the hottest part of Phoenix summer. He didn't even touch my car. Snapped a picture and took off. Boy do I wish I would've seen the loads of terrible reviews here for this company, I never would have used them. They came out the next day replaced my windshield and 20 minutes later It was done. Ryan was super friendly, outgoing and an expert in his field. This is not the first time I have used them. This is the first time I am taking time to review them. When I called, Paul helped me. He was friendly and immediately got Geico on the phone. We got through everything and he scheduled my repair for my preferred day and time at my place of business. It was so easy. Fast forward to the repair and Chad came out. He was there at the very beginning of the time slot they had given me. He went over what I could expect and he did both repairs in about an hour. He called me when he was finished so I could come see the results and he explained what I needed to do for the next few days. A few days later Paul called as a follow up to see how everything went. I originally scheduled an appointment with A & E to have my daughter's windshield replaced. They failed to shop up or contact me after I texted and called. I cancelled that claim and opened a new one using Auto Glass Express in Glendale. Yailin was very helpful and professional. I called around 5 PM on Thursday and Arturo and Uriel were here by 9 AM Friday. Windshield has been replaced and looks fabulous. The techs were very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. DISHONEST IS THE BEST WAY TO DESCRIBE THIS BUSINESS !!!!!!!!! They were running a special to attract business (200 back if you go through them). I called and asked about the special, gave them my insurance information and they said I qualified for the 100 dollar rebate because i had a 100 dollar deductible. (100 covered the deductible and 100 was to be mailed to my address. I decided to set it up and got my windshield replaced. They replaced the windshield and all was well but when I went to collect the money the lady I spoke with gave me the run around and just flat out told me that she would not pay me. Had to replace another windshield this year and after a good experience last year, decided to use this company again. I booked the appointment to replace the windshield. As they were replacing it, my husband went back to work half way through. He didnt inspect the window, totally his fault.. Driving home not 5 miles down the road he noticed a 6 inch crack on the windshield. I called and Paul told me to e mail photos and we rescheduled for a new windshield a week out because it could have been a stress crack. The week goes by and I never get a call from them disputing this. When the technician showed up he took photos and left. I got a call from Paul an hour later saying it was from a rock. It would have been nice to get a call within that week saying something. I find it odd that the crack could get that huge in that short amount of time. But paul tells me it happens. Ok. My problem is the lack of willingness to work with us financially since we just bought a new window a week prior, and have used them previously. I wish I could give this zero stars. My driver window was cracked by a rock thrown up from a lawnmower. It was too cracked to drive with so I needed it replaced quickly. When I called to schedule an appointment, Paul was very helpful and I had a great experience with him. Unfortunately the rest of my experience with this company was awful. The technicians showed up in their personal car and in normal clothing. It was very uncomfortable handing my keys over to two strangers and hoping they were actually from the company. They began roughly breaking out the glass (which went all over). They replaced my window but then told me that my window regulator was broken and that I would need to replace it so I could roll my window up and down. Before them working on my window, it could roll down and up completely fine. They broke the small plastic clip that holds the window in place when they were smashing the glass out of my window but did not want to admit that it was their fault. I am in nursing school and didn't have time to argue with him because I needed to leave for a test. They hurried to finish so I could leave on time which I appreciated but once I got in to leave (with a broken window regulator), I noticed that the side mirror control button had not been put back on my door and were down in the door panel, the black rubber siding they add along the window was sticking out of the door panel and there was still glass rattling around in the door panel as I drove. Glass was also left all over the ground where they were working. I called that day and spoke to Paul about my concerns. He transferred me to Yalen saying that she would be able to help me schedule someone to come and fix my window regulator. She called my technician who of course told her that it wasn't their fault. They said that the plastic clip broke because the glass shattered and fell down into the regulator. The glass was still intact when it was hit, it just cracked. The breaking of the regulator would have happened when they were breaking it out of the door. Yalen was very kind but basically told me that they weren't going to help me or pay for the part that they broke. I paid $238 for the glass replacement (which was higher than what Paul quoted me) and on top of that need to now buy a window regulator which is at least $250 just for the part. I went home and took my door panel off myself to clean out of the glass they left and to find the side mirror buttons and put them back where they belonged. They had completely ripped off the inside covering as well instead of cutting one side and sticking it back on after they were done. I am a 23 year old girl extremely busy with nursing school and this is the last thing I wanted to be doing. I am extremely disappointed with this company and the service (or lack of) that they provided me. I will never use this company again and will be sure to let all I know to stay far away. read more

Wow do not trust this company! I am baffled by the 5 star reviews.. Those consumers must be fake profiles/paid to write good reviews as they offer to pay them to replace the windshield! Everything about this company is fabricated garbage! I trusted Auto Glass Express to replace my windshield and should have stopped them from the beginning. They walked me through the claim process with my insurance, and promised to bring my cash incentive at the time of my appointment. Contrary to belief, their so-called employee showed up with no cash and completely destroyed my vehicles side stripping!! Their "technicians" don't even wear uniforms to show that they even work for this company? And the supposed employees trucks aren't covered in company decal/wrapped? So unprofessional, shady, and I was disgusted. They do horrible work, my glass was leaking for WEEKS before they sent out another random man to not fix the problem! One of their employees actually brings a dog with him, like are you f****** serious? After calling and calling and threatening to call my insurance and expose them for offering money to their customers, a sales rep finally agreed to have another person bring out this cash PLUS $25. What about my leaking windshield I said? They say they warranty their work yet it takes them over 10 nasty phone calls before they budge. They try to win you over by saying they will bring out cash, and then tell you it gets mailed out by check! As a business owner, This company is bound to fail because I know for a FACT I'm not the only customer who has experienced this. My friend/neighbor who also used Auto Glass Express said that their sales representatives don't go by the prices the insurance company offers, and now is responsible for an additional $200 and some amount. My windshield to this day is not the same, they used a Chinese brand (if you research it's the cheapest glass you can get) and their advertisements say "OEM GLASS." Yeah, no! Every time I see their billboard I want to vomit. I have never felt so completely taken advantage of. Viewers please research who you choose to trust with your personal vehicle, as I wish I wasn't so naive. All I know is not to trust this place with your car. You will regret it and if they are changing the insurance company's prices who knows what other shady things they are up to. I will not recommend Auto Glass Express to any of my colleagues, family members, or friends. My fiancé said to take my review to the BBB as well. This company does not do any free chip repair after installation, which means you will be calling your insurance again or paying them directly if you get a chip!
