I wanted to make sure her car was 100% safe for those longer drives. She had been worried about her brakes and thought her alignment might be off, so I decided to take action. Normally, I handle her oil changes and tire rotations myself, but this called for a professional! I've been to plenty of auto shops in the area over the years, but none have ever impressed me with both honest service and reasonable pricing--until now! My daughter reminded me that her old dance studio used to be next to an auto repair shop, which I'd never really noticed before. So, I went online, quickly booked an appointment, and decided to give New Hub Auto Service a try. From the moment I walked in, I knew I made the right choice. Jason greeted me warmly, and I explained all the concerns we had with my daughter's car. I also mentioned I wanted the transmission fluid checked just to be thorough. Despite the fact that the shop was very busy, Jason assured me they'd get started on the car right away and have updates for me by the next day. But here's where they went above and beyond: just a few hours later, Jason called me with an update! He detailed everything they checked--he said they pulled all the tires, inspected the brakes, hoses, fluids, and even the tires--and guess what? Everything was absolutely fine! The brakes still had 70% on the pads, there were no alignment issues, and the car was totally road-ready. They even took it on the freeway to ensure everything drove smoothly! Let me tell you, an unethical shop could have easily taken advantage of this situation. They could have claimed the car needed new brake pads, an alignment, or unnecessary fluid changes. But not Jason, not New Hub Auto! Instead, they were completely honest and transparent every step of the way. When my daughter and I went to pick up her car, Jason went over everything again and reassured her that the vehicle was in great shape. His genuine care and attention to detail gave both of us so much peace of mind. I truly can't thank New Hub Auto Service enough for their outstanding customer service, honesty, and integrity. I want to update this review to reflect how the shop handled my initial complaints. After my 2-star…read morereview, the shop called me immediately. They were professional, apologetic, and eager to make it right. They had me bring the truck back to correct the coolant mistake (they originally used OAT instead of HOAT). Since the system had to be drained anyway, I asked if they could install a new water pump I had purchased. They agreed and installed the pump for free. They also replaced a reservoir cap and some brake light bulbs at no charge going above and beyond the coolant correction. They also issued a $160 refund. Their customer service recovery was top-tier. However, I have to leave this at 3 Stars because the original mechanical errors were significant and dangerous: The set screws on the new Borgeson steering shaft were left loose without threadlocker. I had to disassemble the shaft grind a divot and fix it myself. On a heavy-duty truck, loose steering components are a massive risk. On the drive home from the shop, my check engine light came on and the engine started knocking and running much louder than usual. I inspected the area where they had been working and found they had broken the connector on the FCA (Fuel Control Actuator) aka MPROP, likely it was broken while they were wresting the heavy Power Steering Box into place. This caused an intermittent connection which causes high pressure to the injectors resulting in engine knock and it can destroy injectors. I had to order a replacement FCA and install it myself just to get the truck running right again before I could even bring it back for the coolant fix. The staff is friendly and they stand behind their work if you call them out, but the mechanical carelessness (broken FCA/MPROP, loose steering shaft, wrong coolant) is too much to overlook. I appreciate the refund and the fix, but I shouldn't have to diagnose broken connectors and tighten loose steering bolts after paying a shop. I really do appreciate them fixing the brake light though, I thought the light-out display was on due to my aftermarket headlights, so I'm adding a star back for the corrections, and extra services they provided.

Evidently, they took his fiance's jeep to Mopar Alternatives for repairs and were extremely pleased with the work, a fair price and true professionalism. Well, they were spot on! After my first call to Kenny, I understood what my friend meant by "professionalism". This is something that has become a rarity in many places nowadays. It's something I absolutely look for and appreciate. I dropped the vehicle off at the end of the work day and Kenny called me back, prior to lunch the following day, with his assessment and estimate for repairs. He also recommended that it was time for a break job. Although I knew a break job was needed, it wasn't on my list of repairs because I had actually forgotten that it was needed - he was right and I am glad he was on top of it. So, the work I had done: They replaced the power steering system, spark plugs and (as mentioned) the brakes (replaced rotors and pads on the front and pads on rear. When they were working on the power steering system they took care in removing the hoses from the reservoir as to not damage it. Sometimes the reservoir, which is plastic, can become brittle and break. He checked out the reservoir and determined it didn't need replacement, saving me $300! Overall, his pricing across the board was excellent, as was the quality of work performed. The icing on the cake was communicating with Kenny, he is a good man. If you are looking for a "go to" shop for auto repairs - Mopar Alternatives and Kenny need to be added to the contacts on your cell phone. I am so fortunate I asked my buddy for an opinion. This is how it should work... A business does what it promises, its professional and completes work in a reasonable amount of time... that's absolutely what took place. Word of mouth travels far and fast when you do great work... Word of "Yelp" can take it to the next level... You know what to do!! Check these folks out, you won't be disappointed. By the way... the vehicle I took in is a Toyota Highlander.

They repaired both tires and even rotated the other two at no charge, which I absolutely wasn't expecting.
