Guaranteed Auto Service determined it was unsafe and in need of a number of repairs including a very expensive air suspension repair. It was freshly "inspected" but was not safe according to the repair shop. One of the tires was driven flat making it unsafe. Additionally one of the tail lights has a crack in it where water entered and fogged it out. So it was not visible. For a myriad of reasons the car was not safe and could not pass a properly performed inspection because it was not safe. When I spoke to them over the phone to give a good faith deposit it was refundable. Once there was an issue he said "I have a sign right here in my shop that say deposits are not refundable." Well I could not see a sign over the phone from NYC and its contrary to what you said before. Just think about what type of shop and what type of person would behave this way. If you honestly had a good car why wouldn't you just sell it to someone else and give me back my money? Be careful here. The moment there is a dispute they turn. The car was discounted before I saw it because they couldn't move it. Suddenly there are 6 people they turned down because I had a deposit on it for a few days. This has been my experience. Be careful they don't put you or your loved ones in an unsafe vehicle that shouldn't be on the road. They tried to do it to me. Stay safe!!

This dealership has always been very pushy with trying to sell their cars. This time I came by to look at a used car. The sales person we had, Luke, was new so he wasn't as pushy as his manager. He was very laxed and honest. It was obvious that he was new there since he was unsure about a lot of our questions but he got them all answered. He wasn't pushy and was very patient with us. But his manager was very pushy and kept pressuring us to sign for a car even when we were unsure. The used car we looked at was initially priced was over what it was worth especially considering damage, the mileage, and the year. We were able to get the price down but I found the listing online a on their website and saw that they initially overcharged us by $2,000 in person compared to their online listing. I brought it up but was told that listings fluctuate. We said we were going to look at another car that was newer for a cheaper price and the manager demanded to see the listing as if I were lying. It was rude of them to do that and completely unnecessary. I ended up showing the listing and the manager proceeded to just trash talk that car rather than focus on the car we were looking at at the dealership. Ultimately I was pressured to sign for the car and was upset that they have a "as is" policy because as soon as I brought it home and had time to inspect it further, there was a crack in the windshield. They didn't even factory reset the car and other phones were still connected to it. They said they cleaned the car before we got it but it was clear someone just sprayed a lemon scent inside and called it a day.
